Well, that was based on last year's experience. I'd guess that they got all their paperwork at 20 that they would need at 10. Who knows, they might only find out on the 2nd on the website. I'm sure the sponsors (I won't say their names again until I'm promised another free trip! :rotfl: ) are liking the fact that we are discussing all this though.

I have no doubt they are **fill in the blank** about this thread...

- laughing at us
- agreeing with us
- chuckling with us
- amazed that we are obsessing about this (esp those of us who didn't make top 20)
- learning from us
- ignoring us

anyone else want to fill in the blank?

OK, going to bed...will check with you all tomorrow

Well, I could sit up and agonize about it... or I could get some sleep and maybe dream about a trip to Disney Parks to celebrate a new job that I found on Careerbuilder.com.

Morning everyone! Hoping that you finalists out there are sleeping alright! Just entering the contest was stressful-make sure you're all taking care of yourselves! Can't wait to find out whose dream will continue! Was listening to radio about the chaos in Kenya; news about hate texts, hate phone calls, etc. to intimidate the citizens and couldn't help but smile that here, because of the CMO opportunity, a community of Disney loving people are having a great time on a forum. You're all teffific and it's fun checking in on this! Thanks and enjoy your day!:flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Good Morning Fleagle... would you like some perspective with your coffee?

Thanks Magic!

Not to change the subject, but when's the next lotto, fleagle?

The good news is that nobody won the $220 Million! So, Friday night is a $270 million lotto!

I'll have a new way to enter, plus a big addition to the prize later today!

Oh dear, I sure wasn't trying to be preachy!!! I just sincerely enjoy everyone's posts on here! Also, sincerely am living this contest through you wonderful top 20ers!! (I think I dropped a couple pounds just during the wait for the top 20 announcement!) Now I really think about you all, hoping you're staying healthy and managing the stress of the wait! On another note, may I appoint myself CMSLO(Chief Mobius Snot Loop Official) or must we have a contest for that?(shudder at the thought of those videos!) My qualifications: mom of 3, work with special ed students, have worked in day cares and nursing homes. Am well acquainted with all existing types of snot loops.

You definitely qualify!!:rotfl2:

I'm the gal with Disney Cruise questions! So far I've been told that a good time to book is that first week in January... which is a ways a way... but it does give me A LOT of time to plan which is good! I'm thinking about doing a 4 night to start, but you know what they say, "go big or go home" and maybe I should start with a 7 nighter?

All three of our cruises have been during hurricane season, because we've found that that tends to be the cheapest prices, since many are scared of what would happen if they were on a ship during such a big storm (the ship would go around! no worries from me!). I did hear on another podcast (and I can't remember which one) that early January is a good time to cruise, too, with cheaper prices and no worries about hurricanes, but the water and temps tend to be cooler.

My first cruise was a 4-night, because I didn't want to cruise. LOL. Little did I know how much I would come to love it! Then we did another 4-night because that was all we could afford. But the 7-night was the best...I never want to get off the ship! We're booked on the big 15-night Panama Canal cruise this August, but DH and I have just recently moved and started new jobs, so I don't know if we'll be able to get the time off to go or not. We've been looking forward to it for almost 2 years, though, so I hope we can convince our bosses to let us go.

I definitely didn't think you were being preachy! I appreciated it.

And YES... I think you can be declared CMSLO by acclamation. (I think you may be running unopposed!)

If we have other candidates perhaps we could fly everyone to Pamplona, and have the Running of the Noses to determine the winner.

Boy you just never can tell what direction this thread is going to go in on any given day, huh?

I second the nomination for CMSLO! (anything to keep it unanimous so that we don't have to watch snot loop videos!)

Here's some other videos that some of the finalists from 2007 enjoyed...
AGAIN...where is the chubby lady with the Jack Sparrow cut out???? :lmao:

As far as the CMSLO goes....another joke to brighten your day:
When you go to kiss your honey
and her nose is a little runny
You might think its funny
but it' SNOT
:rotfl2:

The guy that won America's Got Talent last year...the ventriloquist....he was at our state fair a couple years ago and my kids still remember that joke! My littlest told it at the Monsters inc comdey floor but it wasn't chosen to be told....I wonder why? :rolleyes1

Alright team, I've got to get back to work. Here's hoping that the rest of this week brings us announcements about the top 10, a $270 million win on Friday with Fleagle, and a whole lot more laughs!!

:)

well, technically, wouldn't your NOSE be running for the position?

:lmao: NICE!

Welllllll.... much as I'd like to see this "Running of the Noses" :scared:, the job is yours, magic125! :thumbsup2

I have a good feeling about you! (MethinKs you're probably pretty good at getting yourself out of sticky situations...)

Well, Fleagle, Count me in for Friday!:)

And, because I'm in Ohio, I'm going to have to spring for some tickets on my own for Friday!;)

I could always use a 2nd home in Celebration!:goodvibes
