Hey everyone! We're in our new house....yay and unpacking stinks!

The funny thing is when we packed our house up we didn't have a new house yet. We figured we would be buying a short sale and it would be a long process so we put everything we could live without for 6 months in the pod. All the things we wanted right away we put in a trailer that DH drove down and put in storage. Well we had the pod delivered, but we have not gone to get the things out of storage yet! We keep saying we'll go get it "tomorrow" but we have to get it by the 10th because I'm not paying for another month!

The job front is looking good! I had my first interview on Tuesday. I didn't think I did well. They asked me about classroom management strategies and my mind totally went blank! Of course when I got to the car I had tons of strategies I have used. I figured it was good practice for my other interviews. As we're getting ready to pull out of the parking lot the principal came out. He asked if he offered me the position would it have an change my mind about other interviews. Of course it would! DH and I decided that since I applied for over 40 jobs and got 3 interviews I was not in a position to be picky and I would take the first offer that came along. They were all in the same county so the salary is the same.

DH has an interview with Universal on Tuesday for a retail management position. He was a manager at BJ's for years so it is right up his alley. Plus, he thinks that since he was the bread winner for the past 4 years it is my turn now. He was hoping for Disney, but he has heard great things from local people about working for Universal.

We're still keeping everything quiet on facebook. I'm waiting until I sign my contract with the school to let my old job know I won't be back. I want to make sure everything is set first!

Hello! Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July weekend! We just got back from Washington, D.C. and NY for my sisters wedding. It was lovely... just wish I liked her husband! That, however, is a thread in itself! Think we are heading over to Sea World this afternoon since the girls missed out on the 4th fun due to travelling home. Have a great week everyone!!!

Back at work today. Blah. Why do 3 day weekends go by so fast? Had so much fun bbq-ing and hanging out at the beach. It was incredibly hot this weekend. NJ is feeling a heat wave for the rest of the week. It's supposed to be 102 degrees today!!!

I can't believe it is hotter in the northeast than here! It's 95 where we used to live in NH and 84 here! Yikes! Although the humidity is 74% here and only 48% there!

We had a blast at MK on the 4th! It wasn't too hot and rained off and on. The crowds were decent. We didn't really notice the crowds until it was time for the fireworks and on the drive home. Why does it always seem like Peter Pan has the longest line? It was 95 mins!

On the way home we found this:

She was sitting on the side of the road in the entrance to our neighborhood. We are now trying hard to find her owner! She is so cute with such a personality that someone misses her!

It has, liven up girls! How has everyone's summer been so far? I just got back from two days at Foxwoods. Had so much fun!

I'd been thinking the same thing! Summer for me has been pretty good. Somehow, despite my class schedule, I've managed to spend quite a bit of time at the beach, which is heaven. Next week I'm off to Universal! This trip really snuck up on me, but I can't wait. Only 4 nights, but it beats sitting at the office!

Things have been slow with NKOTB stuff, eh? Although I am looking forward to Donnie's new show, Blue Bloods.

Some of you know from Facebook that I just got back from NYC. My friend and I saw Harry Connick Jr on Broadway and he was AMAZING. We met him afterwards which was the highlight of the night. He came right outside afterwards and signed our playbills. LOVED it!! He is one sexy man with a beautiful voice.

Nothing much going on now, no big plans for the rest of the summer. How about you guys??

It's been a slow summer here too!!! I haven't been on twitter either. It gets old really quickly. During tours it is nice simply because you get lots of info, but I don't need to know what these girls are doing in their lives every day!!! I've turned of my tweet notifications for the guys now too, because I got tired of getting wacky tweets from Donnie ALL the time. I really think some of these girls literally worship the ground that this guy walks on. Don't get me wrong I love the guys as much as the next but they are definitely NOT my entire life like it seems they are to some!!! I am excited for Donnie's new show to come out in the fall (as Shelby just said).

We've got my husband's niece here for the summer, she is going away to college in the fall, so we have her here for a couple more weeks. Braelynn has really enjoyed having her older cousin here to hang out with this summer.

Shelby I saw your NYC pics. Harry is quite a handsome man I must admit. Glad you had such a great time.

I have a wedding coming up next weekend and my nephew's 12th birthday at the end of August. We're supposed to all be going to Dorney Park for it so hopefully the weather will turn out nice. No major plans for the rest of summer. Patiently counting down until Disney in Oct.

I got bored of Twitter because of Donnie! All his tweets took up my front page ALL the time. And all Danny ever tweets about is working out. Jon is the entertaining one but when there isn't a tour, nobody tweets except Donnie.

I love twitter for football stuff. NKOTB stuff...not so much. I've been going thru most of the people and unfollowing the NKOTB peeps. I'd like to unfollow them all (besides us Dis gals, of course!!) and just have it all for football. But for some dumb reason I feel "bad" about doing that. I have no idea why and can hear how dumb that sounds. (Also sorry if I annoy any dis'ers with my football tweets.) I'm over the whole "I'm friends with one of the guys" crap. I don't care if you are and I don't care if your life revolves around 5 strangers!

Anyway, it's a fun way to connect with other Bengals fans and chat about the team.

Speaking of football, we had a travel show at the Jets training facility a few months ago and I tweeted photos. And now all these random Jets fans and bloggers are following me!

Oh my goodness! I just found this thread...

I am a huge fan of NKOTB. I truly thought I would marry Jordan back in the day. Now, I am a 33 year old SAHM to two wonderful kids and have a great husband who goes along with my obsession.

Growing up, we didn't have much disposable income so going to a concert was not really something I got to do. So, for 20 years, I could only dream of going to an NKOTB concert.

Then came 2008 and my world was turned up side down. My DH was great and took me to the concert in Boston and then the one at home in Ft. Lauderdale. In March of 2009, I went to the concert in Orlando and then went into withdrawal until June when I went to see them in NYC.

So, glad to find other fans on the Disboards.
