OMG... the brownies... and the TP...

I am feeling a little better. Still upset, but there is not much I can do. The decision has been made. Talked to Brian today and he was PISSED about the comment principal jerkface made about his career choice. I then had a good cry and booked our flights for Disney since I have a better idea of when Brian will be here. Got our flights for $130 each! I haven't flown that cheap in YEARS!!! I already made dining reservations for a span of days so tonight I am going to offer the ones I am not using over on the Dining forum. I have some good ones, kind of excited to eat!

Kidlets just left for the whole weekend! My mom wanted them to stay with them, so I am flying solo and really don't have any plans. Might head to Minneapolis for a NK Mall of America reunion party that Project NKOTB is hosting. Haven't decided if I want to make the drive. Better decide soon! What is everyone else doing?

Kim, glad to know you're ok since you posted on Twitter tonight. Good luck with the car dealership! Did you end up being able to book the cruise? If not, did you get on the waiting list?

Not much going on here this weekend. Doug is on call for work, so we can make any plans for the weekend. My Aunt might stay the night on Saturday because my cousins are having a party at their house and I offered for her to escape over here. So, if so, we might scrapbook and order pizza. That's the only excitement going on here!

Those of you on Twitter and Facebook know that I got a call for a job interview at Portrait Innovations (a GREAT picture place, you should see if there's one in your area). I ended up cancelling it though because they wanted me to work 9-6 EVERY Saturday AND Sunday. That would take away pretty much all the time Doug and I have together with Nicolas as a family to do stuff together. So, it's just not worth it. As Doug said, we can always get money back, but not time. So true.

Angey - you're right..it's a good thing we are FAR apart! Although I did take a trip out to Houston about 9 years ago because we were thinking of moving there! Just imagine all the mayhem!!

Heather - I'm glad you got to talk to the hubs and at least got Disney booked, that has to make you feel better. When are you going??

Melody - your man is right...time is VERY valuable, especially with those you love.

Noah and I had so much fun at the concert except for one small problem. The girl next to me was a TOTAL moron. The AI concerts are pretty relaxed, not like NKOTB where you stand the entire time. Anyway, idiot girl was jumping up and down in her seat making the whole row jiggle. Then she would wave her arm back and forth right in front of my face. I finally turned to her and told her she needed to cut that out immediately. She never did it again. I just thought it was so rude! Every single time one of the Idols would even glance our way, she stood up part way, leaned over the rail and waved frantically. It was so idiotic. The whole row was shaking their heads at this girl but I am the one that had the pleasure of sitting next to her.

There were so many times I'd go to take a picture and she'd start her jumping up and down in her seat thing and it would make the picture blurry. SO annoying!!

Hi ladies!

I apologize for my absence, but everything that can go wrong has lately, and I didn't want to just post negative stuff. To give you an idea: bought a BRAND new car last Saturday, went to the gym Sunday, engine died. Not to mention I found a couple scratches, and it doesn't have all the options I requested. I'm dealing with an incompetant salesman and having a miserable time getting it sorted out. And that's just the tip of the iceburg of things going on lately!

Tried to get on the cruise Tuesday and Thursday with no luck. Tuesday I couldn't even get NEAR the site until late in the day. We had wanted to try for a suite again, and by the time I got on, all that was left were a few regular staterooms. So instead we decided to try on Thursday. I actually managed to get in MANY times on Thursday, but again, all the suites were gone. By the time we talked about "do we just want to go and have any old room? Or do we want to say forget about it?" So we decided, let's just get on with any old room, it's only a couple days; I go to book it, and it's now completely sold out. SO we're on the waitlist, but I don't think getting on that boat is in the cards for me this year.

Anyhow, Friday morning we leave for Disney! Just a long weekend, but it will be nice to get out of town, lie by a pool, see MK...not be working, lol.

Kim - what a bummer. Sorry to hear about the new car, seems like a whole lot of issues to be dealing with. And then the cruise, oh well...if it's meant to be it'll happen and you'll get on that ship!!!

It's been busy around here. This weekend I have a bridal shower on Friday night, a baby shower on Saturday evening and then a combo birthday party for Noah/Becca on Sunday. UGH!! BUSY BUSY!! Just ordered their cake today.

I can't believe Becca will be 6! Noah's birthday was in May but he never got his party so he's invited a few friends to join in the festivities. Should be a fun day!!

Tonight Becca has her first regular cheer practice down at the football fields. I sure hope it cools down a bit. It is VERY hot out there!!

Heather- I can't believe the principal!! Seriously messed up! I can't stand our principal but she sure in heck would find a place for my kids.....she can't stand losing kids to other schools. And there is no way she would have uttered anything disrespectful to anyone(she's a major kissa**)

Kim- Uggg buying a brand new car means you should not be dealing with a dead anything for many years! Sorry about the cruise too. WTH happened this year? Was it as insane to book last time? I've been visiting the crazy boards for kicks and there are some ticked off chickadees over there.

As for us, our summer slush fund has been maxed out and overdrawn. Last week of summer break for the kids and its going to be a cheap one. We rented movies today for an all day movie festival. We may head to the lake tomorrow but even that is a tank of gas and lunch out. Next summer I vow to budget better. It stinks to have to watch your money. Why can't it be endless amounts???

Yes, Shelby, he is very cute. When I turned the corner and saw him standing there, I got nervous. I have to keep telling myself he's not REALLY JK. I'm such a little kid!

It's so freakin HOT outside! I'm hoping it cools down a little bit. I have Thursday off and really want to go to the beach. I've gone once all summer!

Yep my kiddos go back Monday!!! We get 2 weeks off at Thanksgiving and Easter so we still get out mid June. We were year round and this schedule helped please the parents who were ticked they took it away ( I was one of them).

Well, I am in Louisiana and will be here ALL week. My dad had hand surgery today and all went well, but since I work from home, I have been volunteered to help him out a few days. Needless to say, not much going on over here.
My biggest excitement is my LSU/Washington State football tickets are being delivered to my house tomorrow. I'm sure Jason will open them before he even opens the front door. I'm so ready to go to Seattle!

Yeah, the guys are making it hard to focus today on twitter!

We are officially in countdown mode now for school. We start on th 19th, so a week to go. I have alot going on between now and then. Having a garage sale Friday and Saturday then going to the State Fair on Sunday. I volunteered to host a benefit for my BFF's family on the 22nd. I have no idea where to start!!! Plus I have tons of stuff that needs to be Ebayed. Ugh, my head hurts thinking about it all!!!

I met Principal jerkface yesterday. I am going to turn lemons into lemonade and put on a nice happy face. I guess I don't have a choice but to make the best of a bad situation.

I am heading outside while the kids swim. Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Did you bring him some super yummy brownies and a roll of TP with his jerk face on it!?!??! You're going to be a busy girl! How nice of you to volunteer to host a benefit for your friends family, is this Sadie?? How's her mom doing?

Jenny - probably not work friendly, basically he posted two pics of himself from behind with his pants down. He's got his undies on though.

Yes, it is for Sadie's family. Her mom is doing better. Her good days are outnumbering the bad, but the bad are more intense than before. Her numbers are looking good but she will be having a bone marrow transplant in September that will require her to be at the Mayo Clinic in MN for two months. She will have to have a caretaker with her at all times. Sadie's dad insists that he will be there the whole time and he has asked Sadie to be there as well. She will be able to work some from the hospital and will have some time thanks to the FMLA. She only has 10 days of vaca left for the year. Her mom will be at a Ronald McDonald house type of place and only one other person can stay there with her, so Sadie is looking for other options. I hope that we can pull off this benefit so that we can help offset the cost for the family. The biggest problem is that my hubby will be home sometime between the 25th and 28th, then we leave for Disney on 9/2 until 9/9 and they have to be at Mayo on 9/13. That means the only weekend I can do a benefit is NEXT weekend! Luckily, a girl that was on dance team with us in college owns a bar in Sadie's hometown and we should be able to set something up there. Wish me luck... I have a lot to do!!!
