We were at All Star Sports and we took a cab over to Boma for our Breakfast reservation, my mom is in a wheelchair so getting her to the park and then over to the lodge, we just figured a cab was the easiest route. it cost us about $8 plus tip, there were six of us and we had a van, quick and simple! We used a taxi van a couple other times this trip as well.

I would like to try Jiko as well, I think I just need to stay at AKL so I can just eat there!

I am sure that my husband will be making fun of me!!! But, I caught him singing with Summertime in the car the other day... maybe the teenage jealousy is finally fading!!!


I wonder how many people will show up this time? My sister is in NYC and said she is going. We'll see, she said she was going last time but flaked when she left the bar and got there at 4 am and was "too tired"

The pic of that kid on the VH1 site, I had all those posters! Bop, Big Bopper, Teen Beat, Tiger Beat.
The only difference is sole Danny posters never made it to my wall.

Too bad I don't have the Polaroid of myself standing on my bed, surrounded in all my poster glory, with a sparkly silver party hat on for my 12th birthday. Unfortunately, that was sent in to (how embarrassing) ... the address listed to "contact" NKOTB back in the day.

I just heard Single on the radio when I was in the car! It was almost as much fun as when I heard Summertime for the first time. Plus, there was a promo poster for their CD that greeted me as I walked into WalMart!!!

I would love to go at Christmas, too. We might be going next year at Christmas with my parents and sisters. Maybe we wil be there at the same time!

We have Boma scheduled this time for dinner, but I might be cancelling it. We are doing Jiko as well for my MIL's birthday, and it is a pretty long haul out there. I would LOVE to do Boma for breakfast, though. I am going to go see if I can find your dining review... I love those!

oh- im so excited, cause this year we are going for a long weekend a couple of weeks before xmas to see all the decorations- im so excited!! and we are trying boma breakfast for the first time this year- ive heard so many great things, i cant wait- their dinner is one of our favorites!

By the way, are the New Kids going to be LIVE on Monday or is it a repeat?

I live in North Jersey and sometimes they do repeat popular events on those days so before you make the long trek make sure they are going to be LIVE.

I asked a friend of mine while at an LSU Alumni Association football kickoff party tonight (btw, GEAUX TIGERS!). She said she loved them when she was younger and she's all over it like white on rice. My husband stood by, rolling his eyes. Back off, buddy!
As much as I would love to buy my tickets like NOW, I'm holding off. We're leaving for Louisiana tomorrow (yeah, going TOWARDS the hurricane) for the LSU game. When we get back, NKOTB game on!
Now, if only I can find a way to use my media credentials to get a little closer to the show .... hmmm.
