Good for her! How exciting that she is achieving a dream that she has had for so long! You have every right to be proud and scared at the same time. It is not an easy life and it can be dangerous, but it is so honorable. It is because of people like her that we are allowed the freedoms that we have in our country. Her military training will lead to great opportunities for her, even if she only fulfils her initial requirement, it is a great way to pay for college down the road. And, if she stays in for longer, the leadership experience she will gain in the Marines is very desirable to future employers.

Brian is in the Army. He is an officer and was comissioned after college vs. enlisting, so I am not a very good source of information. However, I know that the process is is similar in the beginning. Brian was a recruiting company commander in MN, so if you have any ??? he might be able to answer them for you!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. The weather is lovely here today and should be all weekend... suppposed to be close to 50! I am so excited to have the snow melted off the streets and sidewalks so I can actually get out and walk the dog!

Hey yall!! I haven't posted on this thread in forever, but wanted to stop by and say hi!! So far, doesn't look like I'm going to make any of the spring dates Greenville was the closest, but I couldn't talk dgf into traveling this time! I was hoping to plan a disney trip around the orlando show, but that didn't work out either!! Guess I'm just going to have to live vicariously through you guys and youtube!!

Ours were actually cheaper. The $75 tickets for the fall shows were $65 for the Green Bay show at least.

hi everyone!

I miss chatting with you guys everyday, you have no idea! But I do still grab moments here and there

I wanted to post a picture from the Steeler Victory Parade for cruiserkaren,(I'm just kidding with ya ) but we didnt make it, Eric took a little turn for the worse and had to spend a few days in the hospital, he got strep, swollen glands so they wanted him to be there, which was for the best~

thankfully he is back home today and doing much better!

So anyway, you girls are busy! I love it!!! Heather I remember the start of this thread and wondered if it would just be you, me and a couple others....ahhhh the power of the nkotb! Gotta love it!!!!

It's also been crazy to see all ladies jumping over to the D-side!! I knew back in the day he was "tater-lishous" glad to see you all agree!

please, please post pics from the meets and the concerts, I'm planning on the Erie show, just have to kinda "what and see" with eric and all, but thats my plan, hopefully it will all work out

I had a dream last night I went to Disneyland and NKOTB were performing and only about 10 people were watching them. They only way I saw them was I took a scenic pic and I looked at the camera, to see them in the shot.
So, I ran over there as they were finishing up and got to hang out with them. Donnie was hitting on me like crazy, even getting handsy. I thought "Ooof! You are a man w%^#e!"

Hi girls!

Dana - oh my, poor Eric. When it rains it pours. I'm glad to know he's back home again. He has really been through a lot lately. Poor guy. I'm thinking of you all the time and hoping everything is okay.

I have so much to do today, I want to clean my closet and get my room completely cleaned out. Wish me luck.

Last night we went shopping for my hubby so he could buy some clothes and then we went out to dinner. Then Becca and I had a Girl's Night. We had a tea party with desserts, watched a movie and she slept with me. She LOVED it. This morning I heard/felt her get up, fix the covers on her side of the bed and then adjust mine on her way out of the room. She is SO sweet!!
