I have friends that I have made thnaks to being at the Mallof America for waaaayyyyy too long to see NKOTB. Here is their blog
http://www.projectnkotb.com/

They have followed the guys all over. Lucky girls!

I have been thinking about starting a blog as well. Not NKOTB related, but one that I can update and that my husband can also update while he is in Iraq.

Speaking of blogs, Tia who was on here awhile ago has one. We have not heard from her in a long time. Tia if you are lurking, come out and say hello!!!

I just thought I would share this "blog" entry with you ladies- since it was a topic on this board a while back. (I think it is funny how the examples of what people are thinking they said was exactly all the things we said).

I have been reading this blog for about a week- they totally crack me up with the way they tell a story. Totally Love the blog. They have had many encounters with the boys or at least Donnie from what I HAVE read. If one of you ladies are the ones that writes this blog.. keep them coming- you are too funny.

Today's entry:

I saw this one right after they met Donnie in Boston, but had not looked at it again until today. They are too funny!

I've been lurking on the "other" boards now too...wow. The tattoos are NUTS! Some are ok, the low key ones...but some of the others...YIKES! I was laughing as I read each post about their "unique" autograph tattoo idea. It's sooo unique that there are TONS of posts about getting one.

Hey ladies. Feeling kind of blah today. It's been raining since yesterday. I took the kids to school then came home and went back to bed. I just got up! I just haven't been sleeping well.

Now I have to go get Becca from morning kindergarten and I may go back to bed again!!! I am just feeling so exhausted!

Hope the rest of you are having a better day than I am!

I have been feeling that way lately, too, Shelby. I think mine has a lot to do with the weather. I am definitely NOT a winter girl! I can't wait for my Texas move, too bad it is over a year away.

On a very sad note, my best friend from high school is a teacher and taught with a woman who has 5 year old twin boys. One of the twins, Coleman, has been battling brain cancer for 2 1/2 years. Sadly, he lost his battle on Monday night. Please say a prayer for the Larson family as they continue on this difficult journey, and hug your children a little longer when they get home from school today. Their family has been such an inspiration to me. Since we have been talking so much about blogs, I thought I would post a link to Coleman's CarePage. His story and the strength of his family is simply amazing.

Heather,

That is so sad. A friend of mine has a son who is 6 and he has brain cancer. I'm not sure how long he has had it but he had chemo and adult doses of radiation a couple of years ago. He's still doing okay but it is back and he can't ever have radiation again. :sad1: It's just so sad.

Very sad for that family. I don't know how people survive when something happens to one of their children. :sad2:

It is so unfair that things like this can happen to children. I hope and pray that your friend's son is able to win his battle.

Me too Shelby! I took Wyatt to school this morning, then after a shower and playing with Carson, I took a nap while Jay did daddy duty! Unfortunately, I haven't accomplished ANYTHING today...or this week for that matter. My house is a disaster, I need to do laundry, the dishwasher isn't working so I need to wash the sink full of dishes from last night and this morning. The weather is just cold and rainy and wet and dreary. UGH!

OMG, I read CakeWrecks too!!! It's too funny!

That is my 2nd fave site! (after this one of course! :cool1: ) I laugh out loud almost everytime. Some of those cakes are just too much.

Funny story for you angey - Last night when I was letting my dd5 add smilies to my post she saw your sig pics. She said "Look Cinderella!" and pointed to your pic where you are kissing your husband! I told her that you weren't Cinderella but that you got married at WDW where you were got be Cinderella for the day. How cute is that!

I'm sorry to hear about the sick children. I agree. I just can't fathom how the families of those kids function. It is so scary.

Awwww, that's so cute and sweet!
After our wedding, we went to California Grill for a reception dinner. My husband and I got in the elevator at Contemporary with a woman and her daughter, who was four years old at the most. The little girl was staring at me and I just smiled and did a quick wave. She whispered in her mom's ear and the mom started laughing. She looked at me and said "She wants to know if you are a princess!'
Sooo cute!

As far as Cake Wrecks, I'm with you on that one! I never know what is funnier, the pics or the comments!

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's so heartbreaking to hear that happen to anyone, let alone someone who is so young! :( I'll have to check out that blog when I have some more time.

And the hilarious NKOTB blog as well

Shelby - we have the city in common too??? SPOOKY!

OK... NKOTB are huge supporters of breast cancer research. Avon's breast cancer walk in Boston is on May 16-17. Do we think that could be the reason to save the date?

Ding, ding, ding! That makes the most sense of anything I have read yet. Geez I wish they'd just get it over with and make the announcement. Dare I say it?....I'm kind of over it! :confused3

I don't know everyone, they could be organizing mass NKOTB tattoo discounts at various shops across the country over those days. Oh Lord, I will never forget that thread! :rotfl2:

No really, I think you may be on to something, Heather!

That is the most sensible idea I have heard of so far.

Thoughts and prayers go out to ALL families with sick kids or family members.:grouphug:

I am very thankful that we are all doing well at the moment.

I can't take the credit, I saw it over on the nkotb boards. It does make sense and I really hope that is what it is. however, a mass tatoo-ing would be cool:lmao:

Don't say it......don't say it.....okay, I'm going to say it.....

If that is the case can Jordan and Donnie give me a breast exam?

Yeah....I said it.
