Ouch! That is a lot!!! I can say that is the one good thing about my hubby's military career. We have never had to pay a medical bill!

Another money note... check out your state's unclaimed property website. I saw a thread about it on the Budget Board so I went to check ours out. I found $278 owed to me that I had no idea was there! Pretty cool!

Ooh, my husband has a water deposit from college he never claimed! It's only $25-50, but that's something!

This is scary. When my husband was growing up, there was a guy in the same town who was very close to his age and has the same SS# up to one digit. When my husband got to college, the guy was also enrolled there and there were issues. Not too long ago, my husband got a speeding ticket and there was confusion over him supposedly never paying another fine, and it was the other guy. Well, when I just checked the Louisiana site, there was the guy again with an unclaimed paycheck. The scariest thing is he lived on the street we owned a house on!

Oh jeez, see how scattered I am, Yes Eric is home we came home yesterday. He is sleeping now so I thought I would jump back on~

they told me they would have kept him another day but he gets really worked up at night, so they thought being home would help him more to calm down, and it is working a little being here with us makes him feel better, its just all the "other" stuff thats hard to deal with, but we will make it!!

Shelby, I did get your pm, thank you so much that was really kind. I just havent had much time to even have a moment alone, but thank you so much for the offer!

and can I just say, a CRUISE....really no way, I wouldnt want to be them on ship with a bunch of fans/wackos that close all the time :rotfl:
I mean with all of us yes, but the rest of those crazy fans, no way!:lmao:

It's so nice to hear from you! :goodvibes

At first I was really excited about a cruise. But then when I started thinking of all the logistics and crazy fans....it seemed less appealing. (Unless it was just us - then it'd be totally awesome!! ) But over on the nkotb forums someone posted they had called Carnival and was told that the Imagination had been sold to a charter for the May 15th sailing. So I jump over to the Carnival site and the May 15th date is missing. HMMMM....could be total coincidence but it is interesting!

I have to say the Walk sounds more feasible. It's pretty late for some to book a trip like a cruise, even a 3 day. It seems most people book their vacations way out. (We don't - I can't wait that long! I've never booked a vacation more than 5 months out. It felt like an eternity too!)

Anyway just some food for thought!

Look at this - found on the other forums. http://members.fortunecity.com/colorbook/nkotb.htm NKOTB coloring pages! :lmao:

Ok so I was reading more over there. It costs $1800 to participate in the breast cancer walk? Yikes that'd take more planning/preparation then a cruise. There is no way a 3 day Carnival cruise would cost anywhere near that amount. Even if they jacked the prices, which I'm sure they would.

I didn't realize something like that had a cost (especially that high.) involved. :confused3

The $1800 is how much you have to raise through fundraising to participate, I think you may have been reading my post over there!

Look at this coloring page of Danny, does anything look a little "funny" to you?!!

No, nothing looks funny to me at all.....nothing at all.....:rolleyes1 :lmao:

Oh fundraising! But still especially in this economy you may need more than just over 3 months to raise that kind of money. I don't have any experience with anything like that so I'm not sure how it works.

It is a tough thing to do. My SIL did the 3 day breast cancer walk two years ago. They trained and fundraised for months before. Her team of 12 raised over $30,000!

WOW! That's great. So would we think that something like that would require more work/prep then the guys are giving time for? I'm kinda back to leaning towards it being a cruise again. That is if it's even something "big" and not just tour dates. :confused3 Who knows!

OMG! I was going to post the same thing! That must be some really hot music he's getting up and dancing to!

Dana, I'm glad to hear your husband is home and doing better.

I'm still thinking its a cruise. Over on the boards there was also a link to someone being mad about their Carnival cruise being cancelled...someone chartered the boat (5/15-5/18). The date of the post was 12/22 and wasn't the email to save the dates on 12/22...hmmmm. Even though it will be insane I'm going!

Amy

I just don't see how it could be a cruise. I'm told that cruise ship is really old too. I don't know, I just can't imagine how they would do it. I can only imagine the drunken debacle that it would be.

I'm sure it would be really exciting but I know without a doubt, if it is a cruise, I won't be going. Not only would my husband think I was insane but I can't spend the money for something like that. It just seems a bit outrageous to me.

And if people are going to plan for something like that, shouldn't they get a little notice? (this is coming from someone that DOES plan in advance, I book trips a year or two ahead of time)

I just wish they'd tell us already!!

Yeah, there would just be way too much estrogen for my liking on that ship.

And I don't know how they would be doing the concert seating. With the Barenaked Ladies cruise they did two shows and you got to choose one. The trick is to bring a husband or friend who doesn't like new kids and sign them up for the other show and then you go to both. hehe. But the thing with that first cruise was, people would line up for HOURS to get a good spot. They would leave garbage everywhere and I had to step all over them to get anywhere. I didn't care where I sat for those shows, I was on vacation. lol.

The second year they assigned seats or sections which cut down on the standing in line all day.

I can just see that many of these fans on the cruise will do whatever they can to get into both shows. The whole cruise would be a security nightmare. They'll try to hunt down their cabins, etc.

There is no way I'd be able to do a New Kids cruise. Even if I could afford it, my guy would freak. He might be ok with me going if he went with me but the chances of that are slim to none and slim just left the building.

I just can't see how a cruise would work. I don't think Jon would leave the cabin. He looked terrified enough just running through the crowds at the shows and that only took a minute, let alone a whole weekend like that? Can't see it happening. I'll be really surprised if that's what it turns out to be!

What, may I ask, is the 'unicorn club'? I simply MUST know! :)

I think it's something else. Who knows, it could be a cruise but I just have this feeling that it's something else. Oh well, I'm sure we will hear soon. :thumbsup2

I'm headed out the door to sign up at that gym!! I'm so excited. I can't wait to take some classes!! (Lord knows I need some class) :lmao: I'm going to take at least 3 exercise classes : Zumba, Hip Hop and Group Power. I'm REALLY excited about the Zumba class, that's supposed to be REALLY fun!! I'm confident that I will look like a complete idiot but I don't care!

By the way, I did notice something about that coloring page...what the heck?? :lmao:

Hope you all have a good day, I better get moving!

Yeah, Shelby, be sure to load up on some class! hehe.

I'm so in the "I don't want to work" funk right now. I think the post-holiday ruts are finally hitting me and it doesn't help I keep thinking exactly a month ago, I was in Orlando! It's also a bit depressing to know today is my oldest niece's 18th birthday ... I feel so old!

What, may I ask, is the 'unicorn club'? I simply MUST know! :)

I don't know if you've ever read any of the Sweet Valley series but it was a club in the Sweet Valley Twins books. I frequent a Sweet Valley thread and one of the girls made the little banner for us to put in our signatues. :)

I was wondering that as well... now I get it!

TGIF!!! I hope the kids let me sleep in tomorrow! Anyone have great plans for the weekend so that I can live vicariously through you? :rotfl:

I am ... going furniture shopping with the intention of not really buying anything this weekend!

I'm supposed to be taking my dd5 to see HSM on Ice tomorrow and staying the night at a hotel so she can swim. Now we have a winter weather advisory for tonight and tomorrow! :headache: We haven't had any bad weather so far this winter. One day of little ice. That's it. Grrr....it just has to be when we have plans.

LoraJ- Haven't you been on some "music" cruises before? Was it crazy - people wise? I still don't see how it would go down. You know there would be gals sleeping in the hallways where they thought the guys cabins were. :scared1: I wish they'd just announce already.

Shelby - the ship is older, debuting in the late 90's. However just last year it came out of something like a 2-4 million dollar refurb. It has a really cool waterpark and an adults only serenity area, flat screen tv's, new bathrooms that kind of stuff. I actually really like that class of ships. But some hate it. Definitely comes down to different strokes for different folks.
