We have a 12:55pm flight out of Orlando - we are using Go Port Canaveral for our fly, snooze and cruise so they are picking us up at Port Canaveral and taking us to airport after disembarkation. Just am not sure how much time to allow for disembarkation/luggage/customs that morning?

You will be fine. We were on the Fantasy in May - June, and we were at the airport by 9:00 for a 10:30 flight. That would probably not be recommended, but we were able to make it with no problem. You could easily make a 12:55 flight with no problems (even if there were delays). I wouldn't recommend folks flying out as early as we did, but if you had to you can make it if there are no problems. However, problems can arise to delay you at any time.

You should be able to disembark the ship at approximately 7:30AM, give or take at little, depending on when the ship has been cleared by customs. An announcement will be made at that time. We always get off shortly after the announcement. The later you get off the more folks you run into and therefore will take longer. Takes us about 30 minutes or so to leave the Lobby, go down the escalator and find our luggage (easy to do), stop at the Customs desk and be out the door!

Give yourself plenty of time to be picked up at the terminal to get to OIA (about an hour away, again give or take) to account for any unexpected delays on the road.

Bon Voyage.

Assuming we leave our bags outside of our room the night before and we have 2nd seating can we still get off the ship and go grab our bags after the announcement that the ship has cleared customs? We do not have to wait for our group to be called or anything like that? We want to get of the ship pretty early but would also like to avoid express walk off and having to keep our bags with us. Thank you.

Uclaves: You certainly may get off the ship anytime after the announcement to do so has been made. No need to wait for your second seating at all. Cabanas, the wonderful buffet restaurant on Deck 11, will open around 6:45AM the morning you disembark and anyone may go at that time if they prefer. While not as extensive a breakfast buffet as during the rest of the voyage, you'll find a good variety of hot and cold items to get you on your way.

Enjoy!

Thank you for the quick and friendly response.
