Just logged into Seaworld Passort account and they have a great offer running for Discovery Cove in 2011 (any date I believe)
I checked a random date 6th August as its peak time. Full price $299 + tax, non-swim $169+tax
Offer price $169+tax, non-swim $69+tax

For us (2 Dolphin swims + 1 non-swim) it brings price down, incl tax from $816(£526) to $433(£279)

Prices for DC only, no other parks included. No idea how long the offer is on for.

Hi Wayne, Can you clarify this deal. If one person has a Passport account can he purchase the four or more tickets for Discovery Cove at the offer price or do you all need to be passport holders.

regards
John R

Can anyone help?
I am planning to book 3 non swim tickets for Discovery Cove for £105 each.
We wont be visiting Floriday again for several years

Is it worth one of us becoming a passport holder (how much is it?) and then being able to book the £69 plus tax tickets this way?

thanks in advance

CJ

Hi CJ, Prices here for Passports http://commerce.4adventure.com/eStore/scripts/skins/swf/ticketsPassportBuilder.aspx

Cheapest is 1 park, 1 year (+3 month free offer) at $110+tax (add Busch for another $60)
That will allow you to book Non swim at $69pp(converts to £47incl tax) and give you a years admission into SW with free parking and other discounts (10% off food and merchandise, plus more)

Only problem you might encounter is buying the discounted non swim tickets before getting your passports. You might need the bar code number off your passports to log in and buy but you won't get the bar code until you collect the passports on arrival. You could possibly ring and buy them without the code then show passport on arrival at DC not sure.

Hi Wayne another query for you. If you order the 1 park ticket for $110, the shipping options are an e ticket or $15 cost for delivery outside USA.
If I opt for the eticket, does this hold the barcode or would I have to collect the actual ticket when I get over there using the eticket as proof of purchase. Alternatively if I ordered the ticket to be sent to me, for £15 cost, would this ticket hold the barcode and if so is will the offer re Discovery Cover run out (IE does it stipulate a time for the offer to finish)

regards
John R:thumbsup2

Not sure John, I have never used the Eticket system for passports to know if the info they have will allow you to access their website. It should as you use them to go direct to the turnstiles but can't be certain.
I would expect the mailed passports to be same as I have here with the barcode on.
I think your only options are search on the Seaworld forum and see if anyone has posted the info or Email/phone SW and ask.

Wayne, it appears that the eticket needs to be changed for a REAL ticket with barcode at a kiosk on site. The other ticket option, sent via mail has the barcode on. ( I did a search on the Seaworld site and a post from August this year stated the above.)

Only way I can suggest then is ring and ask, see if its possible to buy 1 passport and your discounted DC tickets at the same time. If you waited for ticket thru post the offer might have ended.
Never easy these things.

Just booked for 5th August 4 swims and 4 non swims a bargain at this price :thumbsup2 Thanks for the heads up Wayne - just need some cheap flights now, okw booked, discovery cove booked, dream cruise booked - really hope we can get there now :rotfl2:

Still time for a bargain on the flights yet.

It was more than that = $1013.92 :rotfl2:

Never been to discovery cove but everyone who has seems to enjoy it - so two firsts for us this trip discovery cove and first disney cruise, cant really make it three firsts and buy a round of drinks aswell :rotfl:

If I wrote a top 3 things to do while in Florida it would probably read
1 Disney Cruise
2 Discovery Cove
3 Busch Gardens.

Many will dispute 3 even though its my favourte park but not many would argue with 1 & 2, very rarely hear a bad word against either. Will be interested to hear what you think of both.:goodvibes

Sounds good - im sure we will get to Busch eventually but it wont be this trip again. The saving on these discovery cove tickets is more than we paid for the five seaworld 2 year annual passes - great deal as discovery was something we really wanted to try :thumbsup2

Really interested in this offer, we are passport members but when I try and register it recognises the barcode but not the zip code. Do I just use my own postcode or do I need to add extra numbers/letters. When we bought the passport I'm pretty sure we used our home postcode but we have tried all four passes to no avail
