Discovery cove bargain for Passport members

Really interested in this offer, we are passport members but when I try and register it recognises the barcode but not the zip code. Do I just use my own postcode or do I need to add extra numbers/letters. When we bought the passport I'm pretty sure we used our home postcode but we have tried all four passes to no avail

In your postcode do you have any 0's? Ours is ???? 0?? but I have to use ???? o??, when the SW staff registered us she must have entered the letter o instead of the number 0.
Could be a 1 instead of I etc, try all possibilities.
If not then again its a phone call to them.

Thanks Wayne, I've tried obvious substitutions unsuccessfully so I guess I'll have to give them a call.

DH just rang discovery cove and you can buy a passport for 1 person and up to 6 discovery cove passes at the special offer rate over the phone at the same time, but not until the 6th Jan. The only thing is the discovery cove passes will not include 14 days at a park of your choice like they normally would.
Hope this info helps someone :)

A SW passport allows you to buy single day tickets at Busch but not a great discount, $8 off pp bringing price down to $66.95+tax.

If you are only wanting to go in Busch and not SW then its probably the cheapest way to get in but if you want access to both parks(Busch & SW) then 3 park (2+ Aquatica free) ticket at £70 is probably better value. http://www.americanattractions.co.uk/

Other option is buy everyone passports, we get the 2 year 2 park tickets, works out at just over £40 per park per year.

thanks Wayne....that should bring it down to about 384...not including tax of course...still a good saving

Hi Wayne, just thought I would post the response from SW Customer Service re my E mail.

Thank you for contacting our SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment family of parks. We appreciate your questions as they are invaluable in helping us provide you with world class service.

Your information is correct about the Pass, if you purchase it and have it mailed; it costs $15 for shipping fees. However, that is the only way to have a barcode that you could use to participate at any online Pass members promotions (you need the barcode to log in under the Pass member website). The Pass will start on the day of purchase.

The Discovery Cove promotion you mention below will not start until January 6th and will end on December 31, 2011. Therefore, you have enough time to purchase your Pass and then book your Discovery Cove experience. You will not risk that the promotion is over by the time you receive your Pass in the mail. I encourage you to make your reservation as soon as you receive your Pass to choose the date of your fun day at Discovery Cove. I hope this helps!

Unfortunately this does not look to be true. Terri has just bought and recieved an AP to get this offer, it was there a couple of nights ago when I checked but now gone for the full year, its only available upto end of this month, dates beyond this are now $229 & $119, no idea if they are going to bring it back or not but not great info from SW.

Hope it comes back for you Terri. You could copy the email reponse above and send it to Guest services and see what they say, They could possibly offer you the deal if you have it in writing.

I'll be gutted if this offer has gone,:confused3 was going to book it for the wife's birthday as it's the first time it has coincided with our holiday, can't say how old apart from over 21!:rotfl:

I rang and explained the situtation again, got a symaphetic ear and told her when i rang was advised to wait for pass in the post (which i paid extra for!) to book online and if i knew would have booked there and then on the phone and it was for my sons bday ...sob sob ...lol
and they honoured it for me,:thumbsup2 so were all booked for 21st APRIL but shhs its a suprise for Jack xx
Thanks Wayne x

I can't believe they sent out emails saying it was on all year then change the offer.

Glad you got it, so you should, I think its a really poor show changing a deal like this.

Just a quick update, never got round to calling Discovery Cove, but found out if you are a "passport" holder you can check and book on-line.

"I booked my passholder discount online. Go to start your purchase, then there is a field on the top of the screen for a discount code. Enter passmember2011, and the available dates for the passholders will show then, once you enter your # of guests and date range.

When you check in, you'll have to show your pass. " by "happymommy"

Managed to get booked for the wife's birthday, four dolphin swims for $719.96 not sure of the exact exchange rate but looks like a bargain. I bought the "passport" for the savings on parking fees and the 10% discount on food and beverages (I like beer!:drinking1), but with this discount I'm glad I got it.

Im getting confused with this thread now:confused3.So if I purchase a passport in the next few weeks then go onto the website ,log in as a passholder using this password promo code I should get the discovery cove discounted tickets?

Yes now you can goto the site and enter the code to book online, when this thread was started that option was not available.
You need to check your dates for availability and prices, 8 days in Nov have no availability plus the savings are not massive as its off season, full price is $229 swim $139 non swim, Passholder price $169 & $69 but passholder prices don't include any parks, full price does.
Also check Travel republic for their prices.

Thanks wayne. We dont intend to do another park with discovery cove this year so will weigh up options but may do when we go next year so may be worth buying anyway to get discount off food shops for next time.:lovestruc
The dates I wanted was anywhere between 17th and 21st??
