Discount historical trends questions...

I am going in January and I saw on MouseSavers that last year Disney released the codes in December for January - February, The year before it was October. When shall I start looking about 100 times a day. lol.. Also I am wondering since my dates are over 2 calendar months, (Jan 29-Feb. 5) will it affect the codes if it is not out that far or does your arrival date have to be in that block in order to qualify?

Whatever rate is valid on your checkin day is the same rate you pay the entire trip no matter what. Example: If Jan.29 is $129 and every day after is $179, You only pay the $129 for the entire stay. Also, if the discounts start in the middle of your trip you could book 2 reservations and pay full price for the first number of days and have the 2nd reservation start on the 1st day of the discounts. I would check this board every day for 3-4 months ahead of your trip because they may release them earlier. At least you will get the gossip about when they may be released. Good Luck!

I have a room only reservation for Jan 9-17. When I called to apply AAA discount (saved $350.00 Yeah!!) the CM told me to watch my email, my regular mail and the sunday papers for "bigger" discounts the end of November beginning of December.

I also got the AAA discount and that really helped.. saved $400.! but I am looking for more.. lol
