"A Dream is a Wish your heart makes... when you're fast asleep"... LOL! Well, I'm not asleep yet but this day HAS been a dream.
Isn't the Beach Club Resort beautiful at night?
After returning to MGM and picking up my car, I park at the YC/BC and enjoy a beautiful evening stroll back to Beaches and Cream! I have a Connections Voucher and am starving to boot, a perfect combination! This afternoon and evening were supposed to rain, but I think someone "up" there looked down and said, "Hey, after all this is the BEST DAY EVER... can we hold off for a few?"
So, even though I have my umbrella, I have not had to use it! Any raindrops that fell, did so while I was inside an attraction! 
Unbelievable? Believe it!
I walk into Beaches N' Cream just behind a couple who are told there were no tables available and that they would have to wait since the place is PACKED!
I walk up and inquire about sitting at the counter if a space is available... the CM replies, " OH, it's YOU! The lady who is having the BEST DAY EVER! Why YES... we have one left right over here near the end of the counter!" I'm telling you.... this is just the best day! Everyone needs one of these! LOL! Apparently there is a convention over at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts (IBM LOTUS) that has also taken over the Yacht Club/Beach Club Resorts! I am swiveling in my chair, tapping my fingers on the counter and humming along with the music, big smile on my face! Must have been infectious.. the woman who was my server walks up with a great big smile and says "What'll it be?" I order my cheeseburger combo with onion rings, a coke, and uh... if it's not too much trouble, Could I have my Banana Split First?" LOL! This is the kind of day it is... ice cream first! She smiles at me and replies, "You Bet!"
The only way to top off a perfect day is with a Beaches N Cream Banana Split!
The lady who is sitting to my left is smiling at me now and starts a conversation... she is a "conventioneer" who just wanted a little break from "networking and martinis"! We had a great time laughing and sharing our "stories of the day"! By the time I was finished and could roll out of there, I was feeling full and happy! As I turned to leave I look at the line of people to get in! YOWZER! I timed that right! I feel a little nostalgic when I walk outside and spy the view across the lake. The Swan and Dolphin hotels are simply MAJESTIC at night! Awesome and Magic! I am overcome with the splendor of this day... As I turn to walk back, the Illuminations fireworks start. I smile and shake my head in disbelief! Not only do I smile, but I look up at the "smiling" moon which has followed me all evening!

YAWN! I am full and suddenly SOO sleepy! I'm off to return for the last time, to my glorious 2* resort (The LaQuinta Lakeside) for a little rest.
I don't think I could fit one more thing into the BEST DAY EVER! I'm so tired I don't think I'll even dream when my head hits the pillow... I spent my entire day in the middle of a dream!
