To anyone wondering about the Minnie purse (they also have Mickey), In my Wal-Mart they have them in the baby section by the hair accessories, socks, umbrellas, etc. and also they have them in the main handbag section of the store. They are $4.97 but I could never find anywhere that says that. I had to ask a sales associate. I'm thinking there would be a lot fewer of them left if the price was posted. My Wal-Mart has had them since December.

Thanks for the info! I need to check for it next time I get to WalMary alone. That would be a fun surprise to give Zoe when we go to Disneyland. I'm considering getting her some Disney Dollars OR giving her the rewards card I'll get from Disney Visa. I'm just not sure which would be safer. LOL

Here is what I did yesterday. DD2 got invited to her first birthday party. I know, she's young, but she is good friends with this girl that is turning 4. Her friend is going to Disneyworld over Easter, so we thought we would make a custom for her birthday present. I did not have a lot of warning, so this is what I came up with using only stuff I already had at home. (Okay, I sorta cheated on the buttons, I had to cut them off a coat of mine because I have no time to get out and buy buttons before the party :scared1: ). I hope it fits. Ths girl is turning 4 but she is really big for her age. I got some quick measurments, but I'm still worried about the fit. I serged the ruffle instead of hemming but I think I really like it! I may sort of CASE this for DD2 (can you CASE yourself? :confused3), but I'm not sure if I have enough Minnie Dot left. :rolleyes1 sorry to be so chatty :rotfl: I'm just waiting for photobucket to upload my photos. My internet has been a nightmare lately.

And the little $5 Wal-Mart purse we bought to go with it. Lily has this purse too and loves it! I love anything under $5 :rotfl:

This is soooo cute! She is gonna LOVE:love: it! And the purse is just adorable!

These are all so great! Did you by any chance make the Minnie dot dress? I love it. It is my favorite! I want to CASE it but don't know what pattern to use. We were on our Disney cruise last Valentine's day! It was so fun! They had lots of good photo ops with big hearts made out of balloons. DD got some cute photos with Donald.

Not Leslie, but I CASE'd this dress from an :wizard: seller. I used the bodice from McCall's 5036 and just attached a 3 tier twirl skirt. I looked for a long time to find a top that had a halter top with a rounded neckline.

Sorry I feel like I will never catch up. On the plus side, I finished almost all of my PTA work so I can go back to sewing again! This is what I did today. I sewed six sashes together and cut out the words from sitcky back felt and stuck them on. They are for the Father/Daughter dance Friday. I let Megan try one on if she promised not to fuss if she didn't win. She sighed and said, Anna Gabrielle will win for kindergarten. She is the most beautiful. Awwww!

Yeah! Photobucket is back up. Here are a few more... Thanks for all the nice comments on my children. I have said it before and will say it again, all of the kids posted on here are exceptionally cute and the mama's (and papa's) are so creative.

I didn't make the girl's dresses but I did make my son's. This was Liberty Tree Tavern.

Our baby had her first haircut at the Main Street barber. I didn't plan for her "First Haircut" ears to match her dress but look how perfectly they did!

My eldest got the glitter and gel at the barber shop.

Ok these are the kinds of outfits my dd7 would totally wear. She will be 8 when we go and is "so over" the cutsie stuff but these would work perfectly!

I especially love the Red, White and Blue. How cute are those outfits!

For the pink halter on your older dd did you use a specific pattern? I would love to try to CAB this.

We are not going til October so I have time to practice!

I did my first peasant top from the Sewing for Dummies pattern. it came together easily enough but was too boxy to actually wear. The measurements were strange for my dd too. Her chest said a size 4 :scared1: and the back of her neck to waist said size 12! Tall skinny thing!!! I chose to do the size 6 and I added a few inches to the length but it just didnt look right. Is there a better peasant top pattern out there that isnt so boxy?

The clothes are no longer a secret. I just told DD they were for Spring. She has had a pretty big growth spurt and a lot need to be adjusted!!!!! Here come more ruffles!

Anyway, here is her Tink set. I am getting bows done for the outfit. They are the same style as Leslies. Also I am getting a really cool bracelet from pbjboutique.

Aimee she looks great in them...I have the same pillowcase but it will be a while before I sew my way down to it!!!:rotfl: I put my projects in a pile in a basket and Ariel is near the bottom! I think since you all were just there, she just has no clue about the forthcoming trip!!!

I don't know Anna, but I think your DD is the prettiest in her Kindergarten class and you can tell her I said so. princess:

Did anyone else get the big ad from Wal-Mart with all the Hannah Montana stuff in it? DD saw it and wants everything in it and has cut the Wal-Mart part off and put it on the wall of her room.:lmao: She is a total HM fan. I have been informed that this weekend we will be buying HM stuff and I need to make her the pink HM skirt. :rotfl2: She's too grown up for me.

Steph- your sash is great. I am sure any little girl would love to have one.

I think Megan should win not only because she has to be the cutest girl in kindergarten, but she has to be the sweetest little girl too. That was the sweetest thing she said about her friend. :goodvibes

How exciting about the father/daughter dance. I remember when Leanne went to her first father/daughter dance with Chad. Leanne was 5 and it was for her brownie troop. Chad gave her a corsage and she LOVED it. I have the cutest picture of Leanne crying and hugging him when he gave it to her. It was priceless.

This is so cute! Where does everyone get the minnie dot fabric? I can only find the Mini-minnie dot LOL!

Ok, I got the nemo outfit done. Still have to finish Ariel.

That is so cute. Looks like a whole different outfit. Isn't it amazing what just a few embelishments do?

I have to agree with you about all of the cute kiddos. I really like the pink and black minnie dress. Too cute!

That is SO cute!! I think it turned out great, especially for a last minute project!!

That looks just perfect!

If that Anna Gabrielle is prettier than Megan, she must be the prettiest girl in the universe! How sweet of Megan to say that! How long did it take you to cut those letters out? They look very intricate!

Tessa is shaped the same way. Her waist measurement for the skirt I made her today was size 1 and the height was a size 6. Anyway, I usually shirr the back of most anything I make her. You could try doing that on the back of the peasant top you already made. Or, you could try adding a sash to it!

This is so cute! Where does everyone get the minnie dot fabric? I can only find the Mini-minnie dot LOL!
Most of us got it at WalMart around Halloween. Hancocks has it every once in a while, and sometimes you can get it on ebay.

I want to post pictures of the skirt I made today, but Photobucket is still saying it's closed for maintenance (spelled it right this time)! Oh well, I'll try tomorrow.

We went to the Hannah Montana movie concert tonight and it was GREAT!! All of the girls had a wonderful time, and so did we! We got some good pictures to share.

Yeah, yeah, me again! Photobucket is working at the moment, so here's the skirt I finished this morning. This is CarlaC's scaloppini skirt. I think it turned out really cute! Tessa is fresh from the shower.
It's not as short as the 2nd picture makes it look. It rode up when she raised her arms.

This one's just 'cuz I thought it was cool (she jumped, she's not falling)!

I'm not sure what kind of shirt to put with it yet. But, I'm thinking of something with a Chip applique.

LOVE this skirt! I really need to make it. Where, oh where did you find that fabric? I've never seen Chip 'n' Dale fabric.
