I am sitting anxiously at my computer. Mylie Cyrus (not Hannah Montana?) is playing in a town near me on the 4th of July and tickets go on sale on-line in 30 mins. The cheap seats start at only $35 and it includes a great fireworks show! So I'm sure the website will crash and I will totally not get tix but hey, I have to try right? I just really need a Diet Pepsi right now and I'm all out and I don't even dare leave my computer to go to the store (but even if I did dare, I couldn't, Lily is sleeping). Wish me luck! I REALLY need it!

I was going to wait till we got back to share all the new customs I made for the trip but she does not like. so it is not coming with us - so sad....

I know some of you have done the frayed appliques. How do you stitch around the edges? Is it with a straight or zig zag stitch? I want to do one, but I don't want it to fall apart in the wash! Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

I've done both depending on what it was. I go all the way to the edge with heat n bond, then after sewing go back and pull it up, it frays a bit but not sloppily. I like it alot. I have done it where I stop the heat n bond in a bit too.

Aww, I am sorry she didn't like it. I get so disappointed if someone doesn't like what I make, thank goodness I don't have a little girl. They are so darn picky. I am sure will like it!

That tutu is cute! What a good idea with the pom poms. I bet that got lots of attention.

I was in DL last june (on a kidless trip!!!!!! Oh wait, I was supposed to miss them, right?) and I did not see one custom the whole time I was there! I barely even saw girls in princess dresses. It is a lot different than DW that way. I think in FL there are a lot more people that are immersing themselves in Disney magic. In CA there seemed to be a lot more locals and people that were doind Disney as part of a big vacation. That was my really longwinded way of saying that I bet little ones in customs get oodles of attention in DL!

AAAAHHHHH!! I got them and it let me grab 7 tickets when I really wanted 6 or 8 then I got my CC # in and everything and the site crashed when I clicked yes to confirm! It sais "link ID parameter missing"

Thanks! Easy, Easy Easy!!!!! Just a basic tutu, then hot glue either cotton balls or felt circles to it.....wash in cold water, hang to dry!

We were the only one's with the "Custom" made stuff.....mostly little girls in princess store bought dresses. So yes, she did get lots of attention.

When you go to DL you MUST go to CA and do the Ariel Pricess Celebration, either lunch or dinner. You get much better quality time with the Princesses. I do not know what they do at WDW, but at DL they have a Disney Princess Fantasy Faire, it is really neat, but to wait in the line for Pics with the princesses is nearly and hour! They have storytelling, crafts and such...it is worth it to go do those things, but do not stand in line for pics (everything is separate.

I guess I didn't get Mylie Cyrus tickets The site crashed when I clicked enter with my CC info and now it is back up (sort of) and telling me there are no available tickets. I even wrote down which seats they had assigned me so I am mad! I'll call and check with my cc company to see if by any chance they charged, but I'm sure it did not go through.
