Oh HeatherSue...I hear ya on the handsome UPS guy!!! I think that is a job requirement...you have to be eye candy!:lmao:

What a DARLING family picture!!! Thanks for sharing it!! Your hair looks SO CUTE!!! I'll show it to Sally as soon as she gets home!!

I also going to show her a Redi-Whip commercial I DVR'd...the little girl had ballerina buns in her hair!! I'm on a mission now!! I am determined to repair the damage that was done to Sally's sense of style!princess:

I think we should all get photos of our older girls looking extremely cool with their hair in ballerina buns this weekend for Sally Rally! I'll get some with Jayden tomorrow--she loves all kinds of hair dos!

Ok, I've gotten behind the last few days, but I just want to say that this is awful. Poor girl. For the record, I think it's cute & have personally gone out in public as an adult at least 3 times with very similar hair. I even have pics to prove it.

family.jpg

Too cute! And I must say when I looked at this pic, I thought you looked just like Anne Hathaway!

Wow Heather! Love the applique tutorial! I need me a Teflon pressing sheet! I learned a lot and it will be great for beginners too! THANK YOU!:worship: :worship: :worship: Now if you could just make one called "how to line up your fabric prints on the front of a button-up shirt without even trying" :thumbsup2

I finally got all caught up! I don't think I've ever gotten that behind in one day before.

Everyone's new stuff was great! I can't believe Heather managed to accidentally line up her fabric. That's just crazy.

We had a very long night last night. I had to get the girls out of bed twice before 11:30 last night because of tornadoes. It was probably 12:30 before we all got settled again. We were very lucky. We didn't lose power or any big limbs, but they passed VERY close by and there has been a lot of flooding.

I wish I had a picture of Jenna with her ballerina buns cause she is so cute with them. I told her that your Sally got picked on for ballerina buns and she was not happy with the kids that did that. Her hair is too short for those now.

That storm system must be what is headed our way. We have a tornado watch until 6. :scared1: I might take Jenna out of school early today.

That is the most beautiful house I have ever seen! Gorgeous! And the kids have to be the most well behaved kids I have ever seen on that show!

How did you get your ex to agree to do the show? Or was he all for it. And when it was taped were you guys already filed for divorce, or knowing it was going that way. I don't want to be too nosey so please feel free to tell me to bug off!

To find stuff on you tube go to the search box at the top and type in what you are looking for, ie supernanny season 1 or whatever it is you are looking for. You tube has everything on it!

Go to youtube and in the search box on the top put the name of the show, the season (1) and the episode number (8)- that'll get ya what you want.

Sugarbees..... Your kids are beautiful and so are you btw. Do you still use the time out mat? What about Jo??? Get Christmas cards from her every year???

Thank you both. I didn't go to youtube immediately and watch clips of Season 1, Episode 8. :rolleyes1

I actually watched this episode when it aired (staying with friends who watch a lot of television) and we all had the same comment--dad needed to change his attitude! The opinion seems to be unanimous! *LOL*

We never had watches. We went from thunderstorm watches to tornado warnings. Tornadoes had never bothered me before, but they did last night. I think it's because this is the first time We've had a really bad storm like this since we had the girls. Suddenly, it was much for serious, I have 2 sweet angels to worry about & take care of through it. It really changes the way you look at things.

I saw that system when I was watching the Weather Channel this morning. I'm wondering how much of that we will see in Atlanta?

Our UPS guy is pretty cute too! I don't see him as often as I did in the "Golden Days" of internet shopping though!

You are so sweet to be boosting up sweet Sally's self image!

How frightening! I'm glad you got through it ok!

:scared1: Having kids changes your perspective of EVERYTHING! Even tame rollercoasters are scary when you feel you have to hold your little one in, because the safety harnesses they put on them just aren't as strong as a Mommy's arm. That is of course if their safety harness is fastened, right Spongie! ;) The thought of you trying to buckle your son's seat belt on Tower of Terror before the drop sends shivers up my spine! :scared1:  We Mommys become superhuman when we think our babies are in danger!

Pillowcase[/COLOR] Wanter- super easy to make! I can PM directions if you like- just let me know. The hardest part will not be the sewing, but getting that Minnie Mouse fabric

That would be me...I don't have an embroidery machine and was hoping she sells the pillowcase "somewhere." I am still having problems figuring the links out on this forum. I wanted to pm her if possible. Can you help?

100AcrePrincess- HOW SCARY! Glad everyone is okay and you guys are safe!

Tinka_Belle-You guys stay safe! Maybe it will die down before it gets to you!

CampbellScot-Please tell Sally that Sydni thinks that is a very cute hairstyle and that her mommy is mean!:rotfl: That is what she said, and I quote "That is a bad mommy"!:rotfl2:

Ok this is how you find out who made something....

Who made this????
pillowcase-1.jpg
That is adorable! I would love to be able to make something like that. I want a Singer Futura Machine so badly

Oops sorry I am getting a little green with envy over here.

Sugarbees....I totally remember watching your episode when it aired originally and thinking that your children were not bad at all, just like everybody else's. I was surprised you were even on there. I too thought your ex was really lax about stuff. I know that lots of things are 'staged' for television but there was once a family on a different show and those kids, hubby were totally awful and that was real. Actually the mother was awful too but she was paitned in a different light. Since they were on the show, they've had 2 more children!

And yes, you are a beautiful woman and your kids were gorgeous then too!
Hmmmmm
I wonder if I know the same lady. . . I know a women who was on Nanny 911 who has since had two more babies

I need to watch the Sugarbees episode! But I am busy making a baby blanket. . .

I am not sure If I am watching the right one. everyone looks good compared to some shows.
When jo first walks in there is a front entry table that I love and need.!!!!! It is gorgous where did you get that?
The kdis are adorable too! season 1 episode 8 correct? If so you are amazing looking and after 3 kids - good for you!

I really need the quilt off the boys bed! LOL! I bought Dallas everything that matched that set except the quilt and now I regret it, especially after seeing it on a bed!

I just have to put in my 2 cents for today...
Dieting really SU*KS!!!!
I'M HUNGRY!!:scared1:
Okay..that's it..I'm off to spend some money on our favorite site:wizard: , since I can't eat..:headache:

I was trying to lose a few pounds but I am NOT a good dieter. Those little yummy chocolate covered donuts were so yummy that I bought Dallas!

I just saw the cutest custom pillowcase ever, located in the photobucket listing (Bags n things)...can anyone help me find its creator? It is yellow trimmed in red polkadot fabric with the stitching "Disney Wonder September 2007." It also has an appliqued mickey head on the front.

I am new to this forum and I already did a search which got me absolutely now where...I have no idea where to begin...thanks for any help!

I am not sure who made that, but I can do the letters now! I didn't have that font until a week or two ago, of course I haven't done a thing with it.

Hey Heather, you are up too late, go to bed! ;) I'm off to dreamland myself... One more day until Spring Break!!!

And, in case anyone is wondering, SUMMER is here!!! I know this, because today I saw not one but TWO ice cream trucks!!WITH the music playing!!! I told Arminda that it must be summer, but she didn't believe me! So, I pointed out the name of the ice cream company, "SUMMER Song" right there in writing. There's no arguing with THAT!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Seriously, am I like the worlds biggest dork or what!

I love ice cream trucks. They never come here! And dorky is good! I am totally dorky and love it!

I wanted to add that if anyone finds a mistake in my applique tutorial, PM me (I'm not into public humiliation)! I didn't proofread it very well last night at 1:00am! Also, PM me if something is confusing in it and I can try to elaborate on it.

Seventeen people have downloaded it so far! :woohoo: It's great to be able to help out some appliquers!

If you're not sure what kind of file this is, it will be in the same file format as the ones from youcanmakethis.

Here's the link again: http://www.4shared.com/file/42964646/ec80b21a/Applique_Tutorial_by_Heather_Sue.html

That was so sweet Heather!

Need some hlep. Does anyone remember here a woman who posted her Mickey/pumpkin heads that she did for her girls? I am looking for an idea for MNSSHP. Any help, greatly appreciated. I'm going to check out our first page links too.

Thanks!

It was Nana that made them. I think this was answered though since I saw the pictures of the girls!

I really hope it doesn't bother her too much. That is just too too sad! I am still mad over it.

I saw that system when I was watching the Weather Channel this morning. I'm wondering how much of that we will see in Atlanta?

I got to make sure our weather radio is ready again for this round.

And because Dallas wants me to make a picture. :happytv:

Teresa tracked some clips down. All I have to say is your kids are SOOO adorable and you are one hot mama!

That is the most beautiful house I have ever seen! Gorgeous! And the kids have to be the most well behaved kids I have ever seen on that show!

I didn't actually ask...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: He was pretty much doing anything and everything he could to keep me to stay, if ya know what I mean! I figured, well, if 8 million people can't make you change, neither can I. I rest my case!

I KNOW! Isn't she gorgeous? And I've had to be her BFF for what? almost 15 years? (we must've met when we were 14, who knew AT&T hired such youngsters?) And she doesn't age :confused3 And her house she lives in now is even nicer (IMHO) than the old one (although that pool rocked). And it is interesting to see the kids behavior with their new(ish) "wicked stepfather" :rotfl: He is about as wicked as Miss Cammie :sad2: I should find some photos from the "olden days" (like that vegas trip :lmao: )

Seriously, I JUST stumbled into YouTube for no apparent reason, and watched the "Show Which Can't Be Named" Season 1 Episode 8 - all 10 clips in order- and I can tell you with full authority on ill-behaved kids :rolleyes1 that SugarBees kids are not only gorgeous BUT also VERY well behaved. Her NEW DH is MUUUUUUUUUCH better. Shhhhh! Not that I notice such things.

I'm off to smell the Yum Yum and set the table. And get through away snacks. ;)

(Love You Sugar Booger!)

Really sugarbees, you are so pretty, to look like that after 4 children at that point and dealing with a husband who didn't give a rat about anything!

I really love the way you are combining fabrics, I think it looks great!

You are funny!!! Of course, I had to go look it up right away too! I remember that episode, which is odd, because I don't watch many of those. It's on a channel that the rabbit ears don't pick up very well. I remember thinking how pretty that Mom was and how cute the kids were, and where did that little girl come from at the end! They didn't show your daughter much at all! My husband just sat here next to me watching it and he said, "Huh, I think I see why they got divorced!" He was referring to your ex-husband's attitude!

I know I've seen sites that tell you how to restring a doll. I will try to find them for you.

Lyddy wanted me to add some smilies:
:laundy:

Sugarbees-Just want to say you are very brave to share your family. I hope you all had a great experience! Sorry you were not being supported by your "partner" :confused3

why??

When you haven't brushed your hair - just pulled it back into a ponytail?

Aren't wearing makeup?? (nothing new there)

Are sweating from chasing a wee monkey around??

Pushing a preschooler in a pushchair - while carrying a toddler in a back carrier?

Oh and your wearing a tracksuit (not a fancy dancy one either)

Do you get interviewed for a television show??

Talk about embarrassing - and I said no - but they talk you into it.

Ah well - hopefully my embarrassed stammer stops them from airing it :rolleyes1

Hehe - they asked me if I felt pressured to keep up with the "supermum" image - I laughed - seriously lady look at me do I look like a supermum??

I just said I don't care what other people think - I only care what make my girls happy :)

Thanks! I think you just made my day!

TOTALLY TRUE! You could EASILY Be a double for Anne Hathaway! What a cute family!

Okay, you guys are just WAY TOO NICE! Thanks sooo much for all the nice compliments! :grouphug:
I know people think I'm mental, and I suppose I am...it was a very random, sporadic decision..they saw us in the mall on Monday and we started filming that Friday...I think they do it on purpose so you can't change your mind or something! Anywho...it was an experience. There was one time though, when the producer, who I just loved, said, "you're just doing a really good job, you're already doing a lot of what Jo would recommend, so, do you think you could backtrack a bit?" He was a crack up.
My kids thought it was the coolest thing in the world, which is the main reason we did it. And, a last ditch effort by their father to show me how he could change :lmao: , yes, don't hurt yourself from laughing so hard!
AHHHH, well, I wouldn't change a thing because it got me where I am and I wouldn't trade that for anything!
And you guys have to know, I love you all DEARLY to share that with you because, as you know, we DO NOT speak of it....EVER!!!!! :grouphug:

Stay safe, Crystal!!!

Loved the kiddie pics Laura, as always!

LOVE the Pirate Baby outfit---GOODNESS! SOOO cute!!!
