What-EVER!!!! I am so jealous! I want to make ONE of these purses, and here you've whipped up four of them, along with some amazing outfits!!

:rotfl: I was there while Brody was at school, so, I just BARELY missed you! NICE! K, gotta see that skirt! Sounds perfect!!!!!

So, in more of my obsessive type behavior...I made these...

I made these as Bunko prizes...I'm hosting in April...kinda dorky, but, what the heck! I like that pattern...I want to make it bigger though, think that would work? Hmmm...
So...if any of you locals (ahem, jham, utahmama, or spongie) are free on Wed., April 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at MY house...Bunko-a-rama!!! It's FUN! Or, if anyone will be in the Salt Lake Area at that time, y'all are invited!!! :)

Okay, I'm hoping photobucket fixes my pics...I promise I turned them and re sized them!!! sorry!!! :rolleyes1

You are mental! I love the brown and blue one! I want some! I SO don't have time. How do you sew so fast? Okay, I got all excited for a sec about Bunko, I've been dying to go forever, I finally got Seth's guitar lessons changed to Tuesday! Mike only has school every other Wednesday! Then I realized he is out of town on April 2. I may see about a babysitter. I need to win me a purse! Nevermind I have no idea how to play bunko! :rotfl:

Yeppers!
I held out for what...almost a week? Oh well, I did get it or 20% off...:rolleyes1

Did you get the hot pink too? I want to see it! With the kids out of school I'm not getting out of the house much! Was it on sale? How did you get 20% off? I found a website with a coupon for 20 or 25% off. Oh, I did send you an email too about tomorrow.

Hi Everyone!
I have been lurking for the past few days...which I HATE...I feel like I'm missing a limb or something...
ANYWAY! You have all posted some amazingly CUTE stuff...as always! I am just LOVING the peasant underdresses! I've still got to make some of those! I've been making dresses, dresses, and more dresses...
I just finished a couple of dress/pants for my girlfriend who is having twins...I wanted to share :)
I also made some barrettes to match....

it's about the only kind of applique I'm not askeered of! :scared1:
I was thinking it could be kind of "Minnie" without ears, sadly, because of copyright and all that nonsense....

I really like that cute outfit!

I must've got to Joann's after you did! There was only a little over a yard left on the bolt! :headache: :rotfl2: I went after I picked Luke up from preschool, which is unusual because I usually go while he is still there! I found some cute fabric and made (up) the EASIST ever "tween" skirt for Jayden. I will get photos when I have time. The whole thing took me 30 minutes including ironing and cutting fabric and serging, and that is with Lily on my lap or in my chair most of the time. I love easy! And I think it is cute. I may try to make a more fitted version.
I love that pattern! It is so cute and easy! That's the one I used for Arminda's My Little Pony skirt.

How cute is that Tessa!!!:lovestruc :cutie:princess: :bride:  She is too funny. I'd love to see her and Lydia together! That is funny that she noticed the Peter Pan shirt. I was making Luke hold the card carefully to cover all (most of) the food he wiped on his pants. Why do my kids think pants are for wiping hands? BTW who is Lydia's favorite princess? Preferably narrowed down to Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Mulan?:rolleyes1 (no reason :rolleyes1 )
That Tessa is REALLY cute!!! She and Lydia are pretty cute together!

I casually asked Lyddy which one of those was her favorite. You wouldn't think that would be any sort of anxiety inducing question, would you?? Not for my Lydia though! She finally decided that Aurora was her favorite, after much agonizing over making the "right" decision. She is truly a NUT sometimes! I thought it was pretty funny actually! :rotfl:

Very cool!!! GREAT prizes!!! They are so pretty!

I took a picture of Arminda in her new Build a Bear skirt, but I can't get the computer to recognize my memory card! I don't know why that keeps happening to me!

Gosh thanks! She can be a ham, but she can pout too (if you saw that pic w/Lily a while ago...)...
I TOTALLY wanted twins too! My dh and I both did, I wanted a girl and he wanted a boy, and we figured that would've been PERFECT! Of course, we probably would've totally lost our minds, but still!!! Anyway, I'm crazy right there with ya!!!

Wendy, Perfect! Do you mind if I copy what you have written so I can share it with some non-disboard folk? Thanks ~Donna

Not at all - as long as people remember that they know their child the best, and should seek professionals in their area if they feel that they need to be seen.

Wow you are very helpful! He initially had a lot of issues with eating. He gagged on everything. So his primary food was Momma milk and he got anemic. But while he gagged on food everything else (toys) he had to put in his mouth. We did a lot of massage on his face, I had to brush him with a special brush the therapist brought me. We wrapped him up in towels when he had a bath. And the therapist swung him in a bag and spun him around on a spinning board.

Do I need to go through my pediatrician to get him evaluated by a OT? Or can I just call his first OT? I liked her a lot.

Feeding issues can be so tough. Was he a baby who had reflux as well? Little kids are so smart - while they still CRAVE that oral input, they also know exactly what makes them not feel well. Those are definately techniques that I would do as well. Deep pressure is always your friend - it just helps to calm that sensory system down so it can make sense of other things.

Occupational therapists almost always need an Rx from the child's doctor - not to mention that many insurance companies require that as well. You could always call his old OT and ask her what is required in her setting and she'd let you know. It may be very helpful to your son to see someone who is familiar with him and his history.

Please dont hesitat with any questions!! I'd say try a weighted vest with him - he may love it - usually i make it about 10% of the childs weight and go from there - some kids respond to wearing it for a longer time, while others seem to accommodate to it (like we do to a watch band being on or a necklace) so you would wear it for a little bit, take it off, wear it etc.....you would have to see how he responded to it - and your OT may be able to help you with this if something doesnt seem to work right.

THanks so much, Wendy:goodvibes

I have made the YCMT "tween" skirt for Jayden and it was way easy, I just realized I still haven't posted photos of it! But this one is my really really easy skirt that I just made up. Hopefully I can get pictures tomorrow. That Lydia is too funny! She wouldn't want to offend any of the other princesses! Especially not right before her trip!

Oh Misty, I'm so sorry you've been sick again!
Weird, I got cold sores on both sides of my mouth the other day. Do you think the dentist visits have something to do with it?

I think that was it, she didn't want any princess to feel bad!! She is a funny little thing my Lydia!

We need pictures of that skirt!

Ok, I think I better hit the hay too!!! The kids don't have school tomorrow, and they are saying we might get a big snow storm, with up to 12" of snow! I'm hoping it misses us though! IT'S SPRING for crying out loud!

I hope that misses ya'll.

I did some 20 minute applique on some shorts for Sawyer last night. These are to wear with his button-up Cars shirt. This is the first thing I've made that is totally CASEd! I can't remember who posted it before, but I thought it was really cute!

BUNKO! I wanna play! I've never played before, is that ok? I HAVE to win one of those purses!

I need to make "Church Bags" for my 3 younger kids with pockets inside. Not the individual crayon pockets, but a pocket for a whole box of crayons etc. Yet cool enough for my boys who "think they're cool". I'm working on it.

The bags they currently use are hammered and straps are broken or gone. Which makes me look bad.

YAY!! I'm glad you posted and let me know. I could remember that you had lots of smileys in your siggy, but couldn't remember your username! Sawyer is rather indifferent about the clothes I make him. Unless I make him try them on and take pictures, then he HATES them! :rotfl:

Oh no, it's starting to SNOW!!!!!:sad2:

I just wanted to ask everyone who is the praying type to pray for our SIL, Barbara. Please pray that the doctors are knowledgeable and can plan the best course of action for her. I pray that they are right so far and that this is a small ductal carcinoma that is easily taken care of with a lumpectomy and radiation. Also, they are really short on money. My brother only makes $8/hour and SIL isn't able to work. They are not sure who is going to be paying for her medical care. She and my brother may not be able to go to Disney with us now. :sad2:

:cool1: IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! YAY!:cool1:

I am 31 today!

I just love birthdays! I have never understood those people who want to keep their birthdays a secret... everyone is so NICE to you when they know!! :goodvibes

That's a really pretty dress. And I LOVE the Babmi. I really need to try the storybook skirt sometime. I'll just add it to the list. :lmao:

The skulls are adorable (that just sounds funny). I'm in love with the tiole though. And those clippies....and that hat! LOVE them!

Heather & Teresa.... I hope & pray everything turns out ok with your sister-in-law. That's just so scary.
