I really enjoyed what we did in February. Karen's plan worked out perfectly (even if a few of us doubted it) and having all the time to sit and just talk was a ton of fun. The moving through the park together, well actually anywhere, was pretty entertaining! LOL! I am all for skipping a park. Also mini meets can take place also inside the parks if someone wants to do that. Watching the parade and fireworks was also so enjoyable.

Karen, do you remember any of the costs you had checked on last time for the extra things (cruises, etc).

We will definitely be doing MNSSHP...Haven't missed it in 5 years? And Little has already put in her order for a Belle costume.

I don't have ressies, waiting to see what works out date wise for a GTG. Bonus, this time I will have B and the Littlest w/ me!!! YAY! We will probably only be coming for 3 nights, 4 days though.

I am unfortch not going in October (labor day week for us). I just wanted to say, T, you MUST dress littlest as Chip- it is a requirement!

That's so funny Stacey. I actually thought that too. Little was tinkerbelle her first MNSSHP...b/c HELLO??? I had a teeny tiny little girl to dress up, what else would she be??(and it was probably the last year I could convince mac to wear tights LOL) BUT I just don't know how to pull off chip. I'll keep thinking about it. I thin B would make a good gaston so if I can convince Mac to go as the Prince (transformed, I am NOT gluing fur to anyones face again this year) and B as gaston I'll do provincial Belle and Lily can be ballroom Belle. Sounds like a plan. Just have to figure out chip...

How about meeting at a playground? The kids could have something to do and the rest of us can chat. Pop has a playground with a few benches around near the food court. We could also walk over and feed the turtles.

I like T's idea for meeting at the beach for fireworks and I like Cindee's idea for meeting at the playground at POP. Anyone else have any ideas for free fun at a Disney resort?

As I told Karen, I want something that involves little attention to my kids, so I can yack with the rest of you instead of chase them!

Does anyone know how loud the fireworks are at The Poly?

How about a combo of both! You can see the fireworks from Pop that go off at Epcot. It is nothing spectacular but fun. Or we could pick a nearer resort that will accomplish the same thing.

Pop's playground would be good kid wise. There is only one way in and one way out. I don't remember much about other playgrounds because we almost always stay at Pop.

I really like the playground idea as well! The kids can play and we can chat! Sounds like a great combo!

The fireworks are not loud from the Poly at all. We could totally talk and NOT scare the kids. PLUS if we get there early enough they have the electric light parade on the lake. That's always fun! That's a little louder b/c they play music but 1. it's not long and 2. it's not THAT loud.

B is NOT thrilled at the prospect of being Gaston...but really, he'd be a really good Gaston, right??

The last time we were there I saw some customs, but did not recognize them from the boards, so I did not say anything. I want to say HI if I can and not look like a complete idiot!

Make sure everyone looks the night before I leave to see what outfits I'll have! Last time I think I finished 5 of the shirts that night! I think I would recognize most of the kids if they had on a custom. I have seen a few customs (I think 3x) but didn't know the kids. I am sure they weren't part of the disboards though.

I saw Morgan's skirt and then looked at her face and stopped. Looked at Cindee (but had no idea what you looked like) and went hey, wait a minute that is Morgan!

Jeanne gets my best knows what everyone looks like vote! I have no idea how she recognized me outside of DL at a restaurant without customs!! Although she knew it was our favorite place to eat.

Cindee, I am sooo glad Morgan is getting better! And I do believe I could spot her blindfolded!LOLOLOL Although, I could always stand to see another cute pic of her!
