DISappearing PEEPS Volume 2

We're looking at the Bartlett area of TN. The homes we were looking at online were close to the LDS church there, and of course Walmart. DH is trying to relocate his job and the cost of living is quite a bit cheaper in TN. AND it's soooo beautiful and GREEN! Other cities that have caught my eye (love quaint cities) is Germantown and Colliersville. The tough-ish part is we need a 6 bedroom or 5+den because I have 4 kids plus want/need a craft and sewing space. DH and I are planning a scouting trip of the area. That area is on our list of FOR SURE's to check out

I'm irrationally a-skeered of tornados though.

i don't know anything about that area except that my dad told me it was near memphis. i'm from the nashville area. franklin is a nice area - just south of nashville. and i know you didn't mention georgia but i think peachtree city (just south of atlanta) is a quaint little city - they have golf cart paths all over the place and people just use their golf carts instead of their cars to get around. good luck in your search! definitely let us know what you guys decide.

Hi Peeps!!! Seems like it has been forever since I've been here. Life is especially busy and this past weekend we went to DD's in CT to visit. It was great to see her and we had a wonderful time. went shopping yesterday and was very frustrated as I could find no capris that fit right!!! Starting tomorrow it's exercise, water and eating right!!!

With that said, I was up 2lbs on Fri! Not good at all. That stupid "2" is back in my weight!!! (But not for long!!!)

I have a For Sale sign in front of my house and the photographer came today for the "professional" pictures. So we've been extra stressed.

Now. I have thoroughly tested my diet Pepsi theory and yet again am a samer!

All of April I lost 20 pounds when I quit. I've been drinking a little more and stalled out. SEE?

MUST quit all together! I'm just stressed with the house having to stay clean with kids and daycare kids.

I swear it's hideous on the diet!

Did I tell y'all our big plans of moving to Tennessee????

UM...Keeping the house clean is hard when there's just 2 of us! I can't imagine with all the kids! Good luck with the house sale and search for a new place. I am there with you and praying both of our houses go quickly!

I heard about this post from Punkin413 trip report (by the way which I loved ) & I thought I would join in. I so could use the support.

I am flying Southwest in July for my daughters dance competition. We plan to carry on our costumes (cant risk them getting lost) I have 2 concerns: being dancers they have a multitude of different types of shoes- but I am concerned what TSA will think about the tap shoes and secondly, one of my daughters costumes has a head band with Indian feathers and I currently have this in a paper cylinder that a calender came in to keep it from getting broken- so what are they going to think of my large cylindrical tube?

They other daughter has a top hat but I am going to have her wear it or just hold it.

If any of you frequent flyers could allievate my anxieties I would appreciate it, this is only my second time to fly- ever- last summer was my first- TSA went ok but I had a panic attack on the plane- I'm hoping things will be better this year

abish19 I feel your pain. My DH will only do Disney every five years so next year is our year. I would mention to him about you trying for another baby and then you wouldn't go for another 2-3 years after that.

I'm just checking in. We just got back from the World last night. I was glad to see my furry kids though. We had a GREAT trip! I'll write more later, but I wanted to post a pic from an earlier trip (from about the same time I joined the Peep thread in Nov 06), and a new pic from this trip.

So I woke up this morning and looked at the date and realized its 4 months until my wedding!!! I just thought of the laundry list of crap I have to do now for the big day..I am not really into the whole wedding process its really annoying actually.

Now I have to really get in some serious shape to look great in my dress, this long weekend was hard to eat well. Friday night we went to the movies, sat we went to the yankee game, sunday i had a bbq and yesterday another bbq...

I hope all the peeps had a great weekend I need to catch up!

OH MY THOUGH...i weighed myself this morning YIKES!!!
I knew i would gain after the crazy eating since last thursday for the Mom's birthdays but holy toledo..it showed 4 lbs up!!! aaaaaaaacK!
thats ok..i know most of it was lack of water too much salt..so i will be super on plan and active ...and checking in on my scale every morning till friday in hopes of a decline

I would not worry about the weigh you gained, most likely its water weight and should be gone in no time!
