WOW! 2 weeks till the big day, I was told that at that point a future bride officially loses her mind with all the last minute errands! You have to send some pics of the big day!

Its 12 weeks till the wedding, not 2! Thank goodness! I would be like :scared1: if it was that close! I can understand about a bride losing her mind with all the last minute things, Ive got a list a mile long!

My 'thing' is I dont like to talk infront of a lot of people - which is going to be a problem during the vows! :rotfl2:

We're looking at the Bartlett area of TN. The homes we were looking at online were close to the LDS church there, and of course Walmart. DH is trying to relocate his job and the cost of living is quite a bit cheaper in TN. AND it's soooo beautiful and GREEN! Other cities that have caught my eye (love quaint cities) is Germantown and Colliersville. The tough-ish part is we need a 6 bedroom or 5+den because I have 4 kids plus want/need a craft and sewing space. DH and I are planning a scouting trip of the area. That area is on our list of FOR SURE's to check out

OPEN for suggestions from you Southern Belles!!!!

I'm irrationally a-skeered of tornados though.

Wow! I just noticed you're planning a move! TN is beautiful. We used to go there for vacation every year because my mom's best friend from high school lives in Antioch near Nashville. It is SO nice there. LOVE it! And it doesn't hurt that it's closer to WDW. ;)

GOOD MORNING!

Sorry I have not checked in since Friday. Busy end of school stuff going on this weekend. Emily big public performance of Seussical was last night. Here's a fuzzy picture that of Emily (Gertrude) taking her bow at the end with Horton. I had to stand up to take it since all the tallest people at the performance felt the need to occupy the front rows.

Tell Emily way to go! :goodvibes

Lynda-thanks for posting the pics. You and your DH look great. Did you have more energy this trip? I notice my feet feel so much better since I lost weight

Thanks! We did have more energy this trip. And the feet hurt so much less than a year and a half ago! :thumbsup2

I am more nervous than excited, not happy about everyone looking at me! ;)

Just focus on your hubby-to-be. :lovestruc It goes by in a blur, and I don't even remember thinking about people looking at me. I know those last several weeks before the wedding are stressful. Just try to take some time for yourself. Don't run yourself too ragged.

LYNDA!!!! You look amazing! So does your "pretty pretty princess!"

I can't believe my eyes!

YOUR legs are freakin' awesome!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I am SO thrilled for you!!!!

:goodvibes Thanks Wendy! That pic did strike me as flattering for my legs actually. Some pics are better than others, ya know? ;) Thank you so much!

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments about my pics! It's really SO nice to "hear". :goodvibes

I will work on uploading more pics this week, and I'll try to post a few more pics. I AM thinking of doing a trip report, BUT I need to finish the one I currently have in progress first. Hopefully, I can actually accomplish that.

Here's a joke for you brides that I tell when DH and I do marriage preparation retreats:

I was nervous about my wedding day, so my grandma told me how to get through it. She said, "First, just focus on putting one foot in front of the other, that's how you make it down the AISLE. Next, look to the front of the church, and when you see the ALTAR, feel the presence of the Lord. Finally, let the beautiful music help you remain calm. Listen to the HYMN.
So as I walked towards my beloved husband on my wedding day, every married woman in the church could not hold back the laughter as I walked in saying, "AISLE, ALTAR HYMN! AISLE, ALTAR, HYMN" (Say it out loud).:rotfl:

I'm going to the shore in a couple of weeks, and I'm totallly freaking out about how I'm going to look in a bathing suit, even with the modest tankinis I bought. (No way will I be wearing a bikini with my figure.) I had wanted to be 170 by the time I went to the shore, but I am only down to the high 180's, only ten pounds lost since I went on my diet. At least I'll be able to get rid of all my junk food in the house by taking it to the shore, and letting my cousins have at it.

good morning!
so at least 2.4 of those awful weekend lbs are gone this morning! i went to curves and am watering regularly so hopefully i will at least be SAME on friday..i will take a small gain though after all the food i ate! But its nice to see the metabolism is getting trained anyway!

I'm with everyone else about the gaining from the weekend. Back on track today. Wendy how's WW going for you?

Count me in with the crew who is back on track after the bad eating weekend

Yesterday I decided to do Jillian Michael Maximum Frontal workout + Shape Up Back to make up for my bad eating. This morning i did 20 minutes of abs and then a kickboxing class, about half way through the kickboxing class my legs felt like they weighed a thousand pounds I couldnt finish it!

Going to the met game tonight so it should be another "fun" night of trying to eat right while I am out... love the summer time but its hard to stay on track with the eating when I have so many plans

I'm actually happy with how I ate this weekend. We did go out to dinner on Saturday to celebrate finishing the fence that we were building in our back yard. But besides that I was really good with counting my points and drinking plenty of water, even on Monday. I did my ususal mid-week weigh in, and so far I'm happy with what I saw.

Anyway, here is last week's July 4th challenge update. Let me know if I missed you...

I'm STILL saming! Why? welllll, too much carbonated caffeine! It starts out innocent enough: a late night playing scrabble or reading the Host (goooood!) and the next morning I'm a gonner...so I drink it to wake up. When it doesn't help because I'm truly sleep deprived, I drink more. :confused3 DUUUUH!

I'm totally refocusing though. I'm going to totally conquer that poison!

So thanks Aaron for posting that chart to remind me of my goal I had lost sight of.

reading the Host (goooood!)

Wendy I saw that book in the bookstore because I'm anxiously awaiting the last Edward and Belle book to come out. You guys here talked about it so much I read all three books in a month. Is is similar to her other series.

I started reading Twilight because I saw Wendy's other thread, I just got it last night and am already over 100 pages into it. I have the other two books, as well as the Host ordered, and will probably be taking them to the shore with me.

Ok I must go buy it now then. I actually had it in my hand at Border's last week and put it down.
See, I was smart, and just ordered it right away. ;) But since I ordered it with New Moon, I got free shipping.

I posted this on the Twilight thread, but the whole thing seems to be a slight take from the old Animorphs series, which I read all of in middle and high school.

Question I need to PM DizneyDawn my starting Weight, how do I do it. I am a newbie so bare with me. Thanks. ;)

We're not doing that anymore but if you want to PM someone just click their name and it's a pulldown menu.

Hi there:) I am new to this thread I read a few of the previous posts but there is way too many for me to read from the begining. So can someone tell me how things are ran here. Is there anything I need to do ? :confused3 When and where does one weigh in. Any info would be appreciated. I got 5 months till our WDW trip to shed some pounds and I am ready to start. :cheer2:

Weigh in is Friday - show loss, same or gain in big, bold numbers -3 so it easy for Wendy (UtahMama) to see and total. You don't have to give your actual weight (unless you want to) just the change.

ps Wendy, I just read in a retirement mag at the dentist today that Tenn doesn't have a state income tax. I can't believe I live "next door" and never knew that. That would be a big plus in my book! Collierville and Germantown are nice areas. I have cousins and friends in that area who have been there for awhile and really like it.
