Ooohhhh what a cute puppy!!! I just love dogs. Even ones that lock me out of my car right after I rescued them from the shelter. ;) :lmao:

Oh and my daughter is doing great today! That shot really did the trick. :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday I did pretty well for a cheat day. 2 rolls, a handfull of peanuts (yes, you can throw the shells on the floor, we try not to though) sweet tea, a salad; dressing on the side, baked sweet potato (brough half home) and BBQ pork (also brough half home.) After dinner we went to play games and I had some ice cream (no, I won't say what; but it was 270 cal per serving) and I stuck to 1 serving :woohoo: I had some combos and a regular soda. I put the combos away when I realized I had eaten more than enough of them. I had a few handfulls of really spicy popcorn then called it quits. We had a great time and laughed our :eeyore off.

Did I mention that we are going to WDW with friends of ours? Dh and I had planned our trip and thought we had most of the details ironed out until we started talking to our Ren Faire/game night/WDW fan friends. (These people are so much like us it's scary.) Anywho, they said it sounded like fun and we said "the more the merrier!" and now they are going with us. It's funny when we get together because one of the four of us will give a days left tally and then we'll bring up little details of things we need to do. We're getting down to the making t-shirts and packing part. We talked last night about the b-day cake for my DD. We are having breakfast at CRT that moning and we are going to have cake in the castle. I want to do the little castle cake and the royal slipper dessert. I've been over to the food threads but does anyone here have any opinion of either one? DH was worried it would be too tiny but it's breakfast time so I don't think we'll need very much. We're having dinner at O'Hana before the pirate: & princess: party and dessert is included with the meal.

Thought you beagle-lovers would enjoy seeing these pics of my little guy. He will be 8 this December. We adopted him from a local shelter - he was described as a beagle mix. His mother was a beagle, but father was unknown.

Here he is at 8 weeks old:

And last month - what a change in his appearance! He doesn't normally wear clothes; I was just trying a Mickey polo shirt on him, and he hated it.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's so cute!!!! what's his name? i'm a beagle lover and have 2 myself: sherman who is 10 years old and eli who is 3 years old. they are my babies and i love them so. i will post pics of them later because i'm on DH's laptop right now and he doesn't have them on here. the only advice i can give you with having a beagle puppy is have patience!!! they are chewers. but they are such good dogs and so worth the wait and frustration of the puppy months! oh, and if he ever eats a flip flop just give him 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and he'll throw it up. i know from experience! ;)

His name is Stitch and yes he loves to chew - so far nothing more than his toys and DH and me. I can't wait to see your beagle pics.

He's such a cutie. Wow he really did change as he grew up.

My mom is coming to visit us today and see the puppy. Hopefully the rain will hold off so we can take a walk to the park.

wow! doesn't even look like the same dog. but he's a cutie!!! :goodvibes

eli (my 3-year-old) decided one day to chew the area where the carpet meets the hardwood in our living room/foyer. when i saw what he had done i called DH crying - we had only been in our house for 1 year. anyway, i was about ready to get rid of him, but DH convinced me to wait it out and he bought a strip of wood molding to cover up the spot where eli chewed and now you can't even tell anything happened.

if anyone's wondering about the flip flop incident.... i was working at home one day and came out into the kitchen and saw the thong part of one of those cheap flip flops from old navy laying in the floor. the rest of it was GONE. completely gone. nowhere to be found. so i knew he had actually swallowed the rubber part......all of it! :scared1: he was still really small and i knew this wouldn't be good for his tummy, so i called my vet and asked what i needed to do. she said to give him 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and he'd puke it up. well, less than a minute after giving it to him, he started vomiting little chunks of navy blue flip flop! :scared: it took him about 5 tries, but he got it all up. FUN STUFF!!!

where's lynda??? she has the cutest little beagle herself.

anyway, here's a pic of us last christmas. i'm holding eli, my little fat man. he's the 3-year-old. ray's holding sherman, the 10-year-old. you can tell he's older because he has a white face......he's my baby.

i love this one because sherman's cocking his head.

OHHHH! How cute is he? Boy his terrior daddy's genes sure took over, eh?

I loooooove dogs!!!! I want either a mini-doxie or a Bishon Frise. But I have 2 cats that would enjoy nothing more than to terrorize a tiny natural "enemy".

Punkin- I used to call flip flops "thongs" which would also be a funny story :rolleyes1

Poor little carpet chewing , flip flop eating wuppy!

i grew up with a bishon frise. my aunt breeds them and he turned out to be too big for dog shows, so she gave him to us for free. she had already named him jean paul, which we didn't like, so we started calling him J.P. he was a very good doggie......very sweet and playful. he died about 10 years ago of a heart attack. we buried him in my dad's back yard and planted a japanese cherry tree over his grave so the white blooms would remind us of him every spring. :goodvibes

Ok - he is TOO CUTE!!!!!

Well, Peeps I have good news to report - I passed my internship! So I am officially finished with grad school and once all the paperwork is signed, etc I will be an official speech-language pathologist! Soooo relieved and excited. next up is having some forms signed, getting my state license application in and following up with a potential job offer for the coming school year. I feel like 100 lbs have been lifted off my back now that I am finished. Can I report that as weight lost for the week? ;)

Now I am getting last minute things planned for our cruise (leaving next Sunday) and I also have a mini disney weekend in may to look forward to. Now that I'm finished with school, I really hope to spend more time with the peeps and the boards in general.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! :goodvibes

Well, I'm way late on weigh in info, but I am down 3.8 lbs! THAT puts me 50.4 total lbs lost! And THAT puts me under 200!!! :woohoo: That's right! I have reached One-derland! :cool1: :dance3: :yay: I'm just hoping it stays that way. I am SO excited!

Sorry I've been MIA, but we've been building all of the furniture we bought at Ikea last weekend, and it was a LOT! More than we expected to buy. DH didn't know they offered 12 month no interest financing, and we decided that it made sense to buy the other items we were planning to get a little later on. So we have built a bookcase with glass doors (for my Disney collectibles), a bookcase for the "gym", a bed, dresser, 2 storage benches for the end of the bed, 2 nightstands, and 4 outdoor chairs. We still have to build the outdoor table and umbrella, but DH says he'll do that tomorrow. The weather is supposed to improve. It is NASTY today! Once we finish up the last little tweaking of furniture arrangements, I'll take some pictures. We are getting done just in time for my lia sophia party next weekend.

Wooooo Hootie! Welcome to one-derland! You know that you will stay here, because, after losing fifty pounds, you have built up great habits and you know what works for you.:thumbsup2

DS and I went to a Chinese restaurant last night, and out of respect for his vegan lifestyle, I ordered the mu shu (I thought we had a smiley for him, but I don't see it) veggies. It was pretty good, but I ate just half the order, which worked out to 300 calories. I am hating this fever/headache/sore throat/coughing up gunk, but I love the lack of appetite. When's the last time I went to a restaurant and had just 300 calories? Infancy, probably.

I forgot to say, I got an ad for www.onestopplus.com, that carries women's clothes sizes 12-44. They had a 40% off code for one item. WW20290. Hope someone can use it.
