OK, all that good positive stuff being said, I really hate to have to post this....+2 *****pounds!

Really it would have been more, just because of my bad weekend last week, but I've been slowly taking it down this week. Just not enough. It really baffles my mind how QUICK this stuff just comes back on board.

Ok, off to do the workout DVD. (can you hear me complaining about the darn situps where yall are? Well trust me, I am)

Stayed the same this week!
I am not feeling very well this morning so i am going to go lay down i have a huge migraine:headache:

hi peeps,
some of you may have noticed i have opted out of the posting numbers thing for the past 2 weeks..basically because there was nothing good to post. i have been a yo yo and a half up 2 down 1 up 1.4 down .6..it has been very frustrating and sad for me lately. SO ..i have decided starting Monday i will be doing WW again. this was the only plan that gave me success in the past so i figure i should give it a REAL shot again. I will be doing it at home like i always have. so..long story short..i should be posting ups and HOPEFULLY all downs starting next friday again. I need this..and i really need the support of the peeps! :grouphug:
You girls and GUY rock and i will succeed! :thumbsup2

YAY for Friday and for all of you big LOSERS this week ;)

So glad to hear this!!!! BEST of luck to you, Gina!

At least you can Core plan if you get bored and need to stir things up a bit?

You guys missed me? Really? GAWARSH!

I know I started my diet again a few days ago, but I want to go with the flow!

So even though I lost weight, today is my official re-weigh in. (In this corner we have Monica Weighing in at a whopping...........[edited for your own protection] pounds!)

I'm bringing the funny back to this!

Dawn: I was looking at your pre-TR and your countdown calendar is so cute. You are such a big kid.

Laura: I missed you too. I didn't physically get hurt, but my mental state is something that needs a fixin'.

DID I tell anyone I have 10 beautiful angels here fast asleep?

AND my mom, who helps me is in WDW with my sister and her boys basking in the glorious one bedroom smavilla at Saratoldya Springs?

Have I called them? Yes several times. Were they anywhere that I could her the WDW stinking majic? NO!

It's been 28 hours, maybe I should call them again........

Hang on.............DOH! Voicemail. Those 2 are getting smart.......

Wendy: How did it go at the dentist? And GIRL you TOTALLY ROCK! I see a new smaller pant size there. 6 pounds!!!!! You are my IDOL BABY!!

Lots of pretty numbers. Very inspiring!

Misty: Migrains suck!

Hi Noni!

Speaking of Noni, I'm taking an herbal supplement called NONI to help boost my immune system (pneumonia twice and the stomach flu right after oy!) and not only does it help with that, it helps the digestive track. That's what I'm talking about. Double doses on Thursdays!

 dwheatl, lexi, lynda, bird, mapigletfan, heather! hows the baby?, where's bonnie? Have we heard from Bee?

Cant believe Im still the same! Still weighing in at 151! I cant seem to loose anything. Seems like no matter what I do, I cant loose anything :confused3 Oh well, at least Im NOT gaining anything, thank goodness.

Here is the New Info for April's Weight Loss smackdown with the
Peeps vs. BoadyBoarders..

The new tally results are as such....
#1 We will continue to post the top 5% weight loss winners from each thread...

#2 The weight loss success for the overall team for the week will be posted in a new format...
To give credit for the whole team...
The weight loss will be average loss for the team per person...

This makes it fair since the Peeps have 21 and Boarders have 14 people...plus we each have 9 people exactly that weigh over 180# which would mean that equal people have the potential to post higher numbers...

The other factor is that if you gain..it affects the team as well or do not post...I know that I need that accountability...makes me feel more teamish...:thumbsup2 :grouphug:

We are open to suggestions..but this was the consensus from Utah, me, Grumpy and 3 Dis Kids...
BTW...

WE ARE NOT BURGER KING. YOU CANNOT HAVE IT YOUR WAY. If it is burn't eat it or starve. (J/K):rolleyes1
:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

April 4th Results..
Peeps patrol
#1 Hockey Kat....2.26% :worship:
#2 DisObsession - 1.25%
#3 Pjlla - 1.16%
#4 DARuss - 1.16%
#5 DisFreak92 - .32%

Average weight loss per person...-.071 pounds

Body Board Babes
#1 Munky Me 13 - 2.01% (YOU ARE AN AMAZING WOMAN):cloud9:
#2 BrcsDisneyPrncs - -1.96%
#3 MamaBearJo - -.36%
#4 AKA Snow White - .34%
#5 Grumpy - 0% (in case of a tie..last weeks loss gets credit..)

That is right we did not have the best of weeks....but

WE LOST -.550 pounds Per person!!!!!! :dance3:

Is it a sad day in the neighborhood when for 21 people the average is about 1/10 of a pound and for 14 people it is about 1/2 a pound...???

WE NEED OUR TEAMS TO HAVE SOME SERIOUS EFFORT AND I AM TALKING OUT LOUD TO ME!!!!

Week 2 Tally's almost done...waiting for a few stragelers...:rolleyes1

Stuck are ya? Welllll, we could trade since you're 10 pounds below my goal weight, I'd have lots of fun gaining 10 pounds. In exchange, YOU can lose my 40 ish pounds. See? Totally fair.

 No advice, just hugs.

LOL. :rotfl: No thanks, Im having a hard enough time loosing 21 lbs not alone 40 lbs!

I posted a few times then tapered off because I was feeling super depressed about my weight. Not sure what kicked in, but I managed to lose 7lbs since my first post in this thread (which I can't find). I have a lot more to go, but the weight is starting to come off, finally!

Well I am +1, on track for the 2nd trimester. I want a salad & mac n cheese for dinner

Either my new 1,500 calorie-a-day diet has already kicked in, or my good eating last week is finally paying off. I'm -2 this week. :goodvibes

I say it's both :thumbsup2

I've been eating a lot of Lean Cuisine recently, and now I'm snacking on fruit a lot, instead of the chips I used to mostly eat, big calorie difference there, and the fruit is a lot more filling, for several hundred calories less of food too.

Great choice! I think fruit tastes better anyway!

Can I ask the Calorie Counters a question? Most of what I cook for the family has too many calories per serving for me to stay at my recommended number. Obviously the greater problem is that I have to learn to cook new things...

Do you all eat mostly pre-prepared stuff, like South Beach and Lean Cuisine meals, or do you have another plan? I want to keep it simple for now, but once I lose the weight I want to be able to eat whatever the rest of the family does. Any suggestions?

Good luck with your numbers today!

Why not change what the whole family eats? You can do it gradually, and everyone will be healthier for it! Do you guys like meatloaf? It's super easy to sneak some veggies in there. Switch to 2% cheese. Little changes make a difference!

Really? That's fantastic!!!!!

The thing is, it's a snowball for me. If I get down and don't post very often, it gets worse and worse. When I read/lurk/post more often, I get much better results!

Plus jaw pain helped this week :sad2:

SO...please give us a try. Money Back Guaranteed!
If you ever feel ignored or out of the loop- POST MORE!
We're fast moving at times and people fall through the cracks at times.
But it's never intentional. :grouphug:

I keep trying to remind myself that even though I'm not seeing results right now, the work I'm putting in (the healthy diet and exercise) will pay off in the long run. I'm trying really hard to keep a positive attitude. I keep reminding myself that I've lost over 70 pounds, and I should be proud of that. And like you, I'm at my lowest weight in a very, very long time. But you know, you tend to lose that perspective when you look in the mirror and still don't see that Arnold Schwarzenegger (circa 1977) body. Right now I feel more like Arnold Ziffel than Arnold Schwarzenegger.

That was one fab pig, you know. Hang in there, buddy. The losses will come again.

I am down .8. I'm just happy that I'm moving in the right direction for the last few weeks.

Remember I said I had a sore throat last night? It wasn't from talking; I've got the flu. I dragged into school today, did a couple of chores on the way home then went to bed. It's in the news that today is the hottest day so far in San Jose, and I'm bundled up in sweats and covered with blankets. I'm really pushing the fluids, including 3 sugar-free Capri Suns (that's kindergarten for ya).
Congrats to the many people with pretty numbers this week. Keep it going:cheer2:

UM - I started laughing like CRAZY when I read your most recent post about how people on the this thread unintentionally "fall through the cracks" sometimes...I thought "Okay, I have to lose a LOT of weight to fall through anything at this point!"

It's been a long day, and I'm rather punchy.

Today my DH and I had a "Cheat Day." We ate a lot more than usual today. We attended my SIL's birthday party tonight, where we were treated to really horrible Wal-Mart cake, and ended up having pizza for dinner so we wouldn't be late to said party.

I'm going to the store early tomorrow morning, where I'll pick up some frozen meals and more fruit - I like fresh fruit, but don't usually buy anything beyond apples, bananas, or grapes, unless it's in season - and as time goes by, I'll slowly start integrating more healthy items into the family's diet. I like UM's pumpkin soup (SOOO good), and I have a few other good-but-low-cal stuff I can make, so it will just take a little more time and planning than I normally devote to cooking.

Until I figure out how to do the quote-y thing, I just want to say thanks to everybody for their posts. What a great group of DISers! Really - this thread has a good "feeling" to it that is really unique. So THANK YOU!

Have a good weekend...

Danielle, sorry you are  Feel better buddy!:goodvibes

Well, I took DD to the Dr. this afternoon. Right after she puked chocolate milk on my ivory carpet, and while the tornado sirens were sounding. :scared1: What is it about Friday's?! The last two haven't been that great for me. And next Friday is a pretty big black day too. :rolleyes1

Anyway, DD has STREP! She puked three more times at the Dr.'s office. He felt so bad for her, he gave her a shot to make her feel better quicker. :thumbsup2 Only thing is, is that if I just look at someone with Strep, I get it, let alone, clean up their spewage, and hold them in my lap, and kiss on them. So, I'm thinking I might be on the Strep diet next week. :rolleyes1 I just feel so bad for her. She never said anything about feeling bad this morning. She said she ran out of time to tell me before she got on the bus! WHAT?? Anyway, she has done a lot of resting, and should be back to her normal pissy self by tomorrow.

Good morning everyone!

It's rainy and gloomy but I am DOWN 2 POUNDS so who cares? I'm still happy!

Can I ask the Calorie Counters a question? Most of what I cook for the family has too many calories per serving for me to stay at my recommended number. Obviously the greater problem is that I have to learn to cook new things...

I have made alot of changes to the meals that the whole family is eating. And then sometimes I just make sure I plan ahead if I know that a meal is going to be high calorie.

Sun 5/18..Spectro at MK

Mon 5/19: keys to the Kingdom tour???...Flower Power Concert Illumination Dinner and Dessert Reception

We're having dinner together!!!!! We had planned on MK for Su but our friends wanted to do the Safari Celebration dinner at AK, so we'll be over there at least until dinner is over, we may run into you at MK if we head that direction to wind up the night. Kat and Lynda~ I can add you to my GG if you'd like and we can all do the Illuminations dinner if there are still openings.........

I try to picture weight as meat in the grocery store. (that sounds weird) Let me explain, even 1 pound, when you hold that single package, is alot when you think of strapping it to your body and carrying it around with you for the rest of your life. Picture 5 or 10 pounds. That's alot of rump roast!

I was :lmao: at that . Yes, the 30 lbs that I need to lose are a lot of rump roast....... mainly rump too.......

Allie~ Sorry to hear your DD is sick, PD for her (and you so you don't get it.)

Danielle~ PD for you too :wizard:

Monica~ It's one foot in front of the other that will get you through most days. I love Sandy's marathon t-shirt: Dead last finish is greater than did not finish is greater than did not start! Even on the hard days, if you try to eat healthier you are doing more than you would if you gave up. Chin up and one day at a time.

As for me...........I have to go to the vet's this am, it's always a madhouse on Sat morning....... ugg.....

I did sort of eat well yesterday. I looked up the fast food we were going to eat so I made an informed choice when I ordered. I decided to run errands durning my meal break from work and didn't have time to eat dinner so I wound up having 2 small handfulls of this trail mix with baking chips in it. (It wasn't just chocolate......) I did eat some strawberries and a WW cheese to help stave off hunger but I totally blew it on the way home and stopped for a McD's sundae. I' not sure what's for dinner tonight so I have to eat light until we figure it out.

Have a peepish day everyone!

Wow! that will be super cool! I have never been the Illumination Dinner so I am very excited about it!

Sorry I've been MIA guys but little stitch seems to occupy all my free time. Hopefully this week I'll have more of a routine down and I'll be able to checkIn more. My plan is to try to catch up and read most of what I missed all week even if I don't have the chance to post again today.

Good news though, I'm -1. Not really sure how that happened since we had some fast food this week and I only went to the gym once. The dress pants I wear to work are feeling looser and some of my tops are fitting better!

Take care everyone.

I posted a few times then tapered off because I was feeling super depressed about my weight. Not sure what kicked in, but I managed to lose 7lbs since my first post in this thread (which I can't find). I have a lot more to go, but the weight is starting to come off, finally!

Good job. I find reading at least once makes you feel like you're not in it by yourself. Everyone around me in my family is thin (except for my brother) so it's very hard. But you can do it. I try to post every day because when I don't do so good I find myself depressed and eat more. Good job on the 7 lb.

I want a salad & mac n cheese for dinner

I hope you had it, the baby needed it.:rotfl:

Remember I said I had a sore throat last night? It wasn't from talking; I've got the flu.

Feel better.

I thought "Okay, I have to lose a LOT of weight to fall through anything at this point!"

I'm right next to you girl :lmao:

DD has STREP! She puked three more times at the Dr.'s office.

Hope DD feels better soon. Once the antibiotics kicks in she'll feel a lot better. I had heard that sometimes strep makes you puke but not of mine never did. Hope you don't get it, do you have any face masks?:confused3

but I totally blew it on the way home and stopped for a McD's sundae. I' not sure what's for dinner tonight so I have to eat light until we figure it out. Have a peepish day everyone!

Oh I had a fight with my brother (acutally were fighting from last week, long story, but I just emailed him for the first time yesterday) and I blew it too. I had ice cream. I needed chocolate.

Good news though, I'm -1. Not really sure how that happened since we had some fast food this week and I only went to the gym once. The dress pants I wear to work are feeling looser and some of my tops are fitting better!

Is stitch a puppy, do you have pictures? I love dogs and want one so bad. But DH wants to wait:sad1: until the kids are a little older. Yeah on the dress pants being looser.

Well as I posted up there I had a little disagreement with my DB and I went an ate some chocolate ice cream with reese's peanut butter cups mushed in it. It's a new shop that opened like 5 minutes away from my house, oh goody. He just got me so angry :upsidedow and his wife is a trouble maker too. Anyway today's another day.
