DISappearing PEEPS Volume 2

I have spent my life on a diet....but 2 1/2 years ago I went on WW and lost
55 lbs. I hit my goal....but since the holidays I have let my weight creep up
6lbs. Plus, I wanted to take off an additional 5-6 lbs. before our Sept. vacation at WDW....since my DH decided we needed to upgrade to the DxDDP.

Officially as of the AM....I weigh :scared1: 144lbs. :scared1:

I will look forward to getting to know all of you in the future. thanks

I was on the "food porn pic" thread and someone posted a link to this thread. Just wanted to say hi, and that I'm gonna be starting my weight loss in May when DH and I get Wii Fit. Maybe next month, depending on how the weather is. Maybe start going for a nice walk with DH and my dog. They both could loose a few pounds themselves ;) :rotfl:

Just wanna add, just weighed myself - 151 lbs. :eek: :scared1: I'm 5'3. Werid thing though, I dont look it. I am small bone except for my hips, they are medium bone, and I have a small gut.
 
I weighed in at 134 this am. I lost a 0.5 pound this week!!! I think I have to lower my points on WW. I have been at a stand still for almost 2 weeks.

I know I've been away (again) for quite a while, but I've had so much on my plate these days, that I haven't had much time to post. I'm still struggling to get my health back on track (for those of you who are just tuning in to my health drama... I was hospitalized back in Dec for a DVT/PE and shortly after that, discovered that I have Lupus) :sick: .

Things are going better for me, though. I'm finally able to exercise again :thumbsup2 (I hadn't been able to exercise since Dec because of the clot in my leg). So, this week, I started doing Turbo Jam. *I actually BOUGHT the turbo jam dvd's TWO YEARS AGO... but never got it together enough to do it until this week... :sad2: *

So far so good. I'm doing better with my eating, and slowly working in more physical activities. Some days are hard for me because of joint pain and fatigue, but I try my best to do all that my body will let me do. :cheer2:

Anyway, I plan to be around the boards more, and participating and such. In fact, Aaron, I would like to participate in the "Cinco de Mayo" challenge it seems you guys are doing. My goal is 7lbs. :thumbsup2

Turbo Jam is great! I love the Lower Body Jam and Cardio Party 3.
 

hey to the newbies! i posted the link to this thread over on the food porn thread. kinda ironic, huh? i'm over there looking at food porn when i'm supposed to be dieting! :rotfl:

anyway, someone over there posted about how they'd lost 113 pounds (or something like that) and they had a few more to go. i wanted to point them in our direction because this is a great place to come when you need advice, encouragement or if you have any tips for all of us, too! you're all welcome here!

weigh-ins are on fridays. so weigh yourself today and then next week you can post how much you either lost or gained. the utah-thread-mama keeps a tally of how much we've all lost. we're very chatty here so if you can't keep up, just post when you can! :goodvibes
 
I'm trying to decide what night I want to go to MNSSHP during my trip. Even though I still may cancel my trip, so I won't buy tickets until closer too, I do want to figure out what night I'm going to go. Really any of the nights would work for me; 9/23, 9/26, 9/28, 9/30, or 10/2. There are reasons however, for not going any of those nights too.

9/30 would probably be the worst night, unless I moved around all of my ADRs.

10/2 would probably be the best night, especially since I haven't been able to make ADRs yet, and can still plan around it. That would also be my last night, and may be a good way to end my trip.

9/26 would be my next best choice, but that's the first night of the Food and Wine Festival, so I'd like to be at Epcot that night.

9/28 and 9/23 are pretty much even right now. I have an early dinner ADR on 9/23, that may make me arrive a little late to the party, but since I really only go for the parade, fireworks, and atmosphere, that wouldn't be such a big deal.

On 9/28 I have an early dinner ADR too, but, and don't laugh, that's a Sunday night, and I think it may be the season premiere of Desperate Housewives, which I wouldn't want to miss, even though I could always watch it online after my trip.


I am looking at getting tickets for MNSSHP on 9/23! Maybe I'll see you there!!! :thumbsup2
 
I am down-3 I am loving my teeth diet ... i really have just cut back on alot of garbage i used to eat and i find myself not getting it for my kids either ...

You've gotta love all that walking that burns all the calories there. Of course, in Disney the food magically has no calories or fat.

It was painful, but because of the contest with the other board, I actually stayed away from the Dole Whips and only had 1 premium Mickey bar! Ok so I did start the vaca with a Pina Colava! My sister NSalz (remember her?) was already at our resort. I texted her when we got on Magical Express and she was waiting for me with a HUGE Pina Colava when we got to POR! Can a sister get any better than that?:love:

I'll be moving in the opposite direction, thanks to the baby coming in August, but hopefully this will keep my ice cream consumption low, and my lean meat & veggie consumption high!

The last time I went to Disney I lost two pounds. Of course my mom gained two pounds, and ate less then me, which I thought was hysterical. She didn't think it was that funny though, I can't imagine why. :rolleyes1

Hi my name is Laura and I married to Michael for 11 years. We have three kids, Christopher who will be 9 next tuesday (yes he's an april fool's day baby), Nicholas 6 and Elizabeth 27 months. I need to lose about 150 lb before I can say I'm at goal. I do WW. My meetings are on Tuesday mornings and they are a great bunch but I feel I more comfortable with these guys.:hug: They are hear for me EVERYDAY when WW group I only see once a week. Welcome to our happy little family.

Ok guys bad news. I went out to lunch with a friend and her kids (our older boys are in school together) and let's just say I had some pizza. But I did have a salad too. That's one day, that's only one day. Back on track tomorrow. Pizza is the devil for me.
