DISappearing PEEPS Volume 2

Hey U-Momma, I just stumbled accross your thread here via Couteau's report and thought I would join. I could use the support. I will have to catch up. We were in WDW the day after you started this one. If you have been to my TR you will know that we upgraded to the Deluxe DP so that made it even worse. :sad2:

Ah, this is otherwise known as "Deluxe Dining Plan Damage Control!"

Would you like to join our BIG friendly competition with another fun Wish Team?

It will really help, I think. Each team takes the 5 best from each side each week based on % (percentage of weight lost rather than pounds so it'll be fair).

It will be ongoing as far as I know and weigh days are Fridays. So you can take your "before" weight tomorrow. We need all the help we can get!

Our team is "Team PeePs" and the other team is the "Boarder Babes". Since is the day before weigh day, there may be some below the belt tactics to make the other team cheat...but not from me! We're all in this together and in the spirit of getting healthy and thinner. :grouphug:

Ok peeps what are we eating today?

Brocolli?

Grapes?

Shrimp?

That was yesterday.

Today?

Whose drinking their water?

B: bagel with light cream cheese
Snack: applesauce
L: lc chicken with noodles in peanut sauce

Still left - 100 Cal pack of pretzels and who knows what for dinner, likely either chicken or hamburger helper and veggies.

I've had about 40 oz of water, one coffee, one hot tea, and one diet Pepsi (and I wonder why I have to pee all the time). Still have another 24 oz of water to go mixed with some crystal light.

Breakfast: FiberOne Cereal with 1/4 cup skim milk
Lunch: Soup
Dinner: Honey-Lemon Chicken Breasts with Brussels Sprouts (delish!)
Snacks: FiberOne Granola Bar, Banana
Water: Working on my 5th 20oz mug today. And I'll probably have 2-3 big glasses after I exercise tonight.
 
b - apple chips (only 1.5 servings!)
l - half a sandwich without the bread and a bowl of chicken chili
plus maybe half a piece of cheesecake
Snacks - coffee with sugar free creamer until I ran out so then I used a teeeeny bit of regular creamer with sweetnlow

dinner will most likely be healthy since I'm going to the grocery tonight.

i had lunch today with a friend i haven't seen since my wedding (6 years ago) and she and her boyfriend decided to buy a special education school bus (the short ones), renovate it into a mini RV and travel around the country. and get this - it runs on vegetable oil! :rotfl2:

Hey,all. Thanks for thinking of me. I have just been very busy with work and my own family. I have also been in the "dumps" lately. I had a migraine for about a week and then finally woke yesterday morning with no mention of the feeling that I might get one at any minute. Well make it to work and and a "lovely" student who has been asked many, many times to not put on so much smell good stuff---decided that it would be funny to spray it in my room. Needless to say my headhache free day was over. It was so bad we had to change classrooms. I did not see him spray it so therefore nothing could be done. The principal let him know very quick that if it ever happened again severe consequences would be taken. I am a little better today, but still have that feeling that one could start at any minute. I hate that dull pain. My DH has insisted with all that has happened to our friend that I go see a neurologist. I am waiting on them to call with my appt. We have spring break next week :banana: I have joined the challenge and maybe that will motivate me to shed some pounds. Over the last 4 weeks I have gained 2 pounds---Next week I plan on being at the gym everyday.


UTAH----what kind of Mcalaren do you have?
 
B - Skipped
L - Pizza (Bad for me, I know, 440 calories)
Snack - Smart Ones WW Sundae

D - ??? I think I'm going to use up the rest of my deli turkey in another wrap.

I would like to join. Considering I am not a "babe" I may fit (no pun intended) :rotfl: better on the "Team PeePs". Other than the weigh in, is there any initiation that I need to know about???
 
B - oatmeal with flax seed and dried blueberries.
L - left over dinner (beef, brown rice, cabbage, tomato) and rye bread
S - popcorn
D - left over dinner (beef, brown rice, cabbage, tomato)
 
Has anyone heard of a baby being allergic to rice cereal? We think that Rebekah is and we really do not know what to do. I think we are just going to hold off introducing anything until she is a little older. She now refuses anything but Bmilk.

I have a funny---the other night we wre trying to get her to take a bottle with a little formula and some oatmeal cereal---well she refused it--I had put the powdered formula can on the counter and did not think anything else of it. About 30 minutes later I hear Katie fussing at Joshua (2) and asking him what he was doing. I go into the kitchen thinking he had found a pen or something. I hear him say that he is skating. I turn the corner and he has poured powedered formula all over the floor and is pretending to skate. He then says that it is yummy. I tell him it is yucky and he replies--it is not yucky it is my yummy ice cream--:scared1: I tell him it is Rebekahs special milk and he replies it is his ice cream and he is just a licking his lips. I am still finding powedred formula on my floor.

Oh Heather! I can only smile at what the kids can get themselves into.

Wait a good 4 weeks and try the cereal again. Did her face turn blotchy red? That could indicated allergy. That's what happened to Matt with all his food allergies. A nice red looking facial mask you couldn't take off.

I get the smell induced headache/migrains too.

Madelyn just started to let me feed her willingly these last 2 weeks. She wanted nothing to do with baby food for the longest time.

She rather go straight for the people food.


Lots of great food choices my friends. Keep it going!

breakfast: 2 cups of coffee w/ splenda & fat free creamer & 1 nutrigrain strawberry waffle (no syrup - it's not needed with the flavored waffles!)

i didn't have a snack because i had a late breakfast.

lunch: smart ones orange sesame chicken w/ rice

snack: granny smith apple dipped in fat free caramel (my new "thing")

dinner: ??????

water, water, water, water!!!
 
Hi All,

I love to see what everyone has been eating (even though I dont know what a lot of the stuff is!), it gives me motivation!

Ok, its 8.50pm here so I have had all my meals:

B'Fast - Special K cereal with skimmed milk

Snack - Alpen cereal bar

Lunch - Low fat mushroom soup and a yoghurt

Snack - Apple and Grapes

Dinner - Chicken stir fryed in spray fat free oil with pasta and tomato sauce, and a ton of veggies

I think my next snack will be a banana!

Ive had a sneaky little pre-weigh in - :cool1: I hope the number stays the same!

Oh, and I have drank 2 litres of water today, for the first time in who knows how long!

She did not get splotchy. The first time we gave it to her 3 hours later she screamed for what seemed like eternity. The next tiem we did it 3 hours later she started throwing up for about 45 minutes--then she was fine. We even thought she might have a little tummy virus--but later that night when she nursed she was fine. Well last week we gave her a little more because that is all she would take--again 3 hours later she started throwing up--dry heaves and all--she was just so pitiful. She nursed later during the night and was fine. Once she empites her stomache she is fine. Go figure. We had thought about waiting until she was 6 mths and then trying again.

She can be trusted not to reveal our weights or I'll put the stink-eye on her and the fleas of a thousand camels will infest her armpits for eternity. ::yes::

So take your measurements and write them down (for your own viewing). Your first official weigh day won't be till NEXT friday. I would suggest a hearty "last" meal since tomorrow's weight is your starting weight...but that would be un-PeePish of me. ;)

I took my chest (hopefully it's just Back Fat that I'll lose there! ;) )

Waist

hips (:scared: )

each thigh

each upper arm

Or do whichever you want.

Some of the more gung-ho Peeps have had their body fat measured too. I DONT want to know that. :eek:



To be more accurate, on my thighs I measure up from my knee several inches so each time it will be at the same place. Same thing with my arm/elbow.

You can also use other "landmarks" like your belly button I guess.
