I'm +2 lbs. this week. :scared1:

Thanks to everyone who gave input about going to DW in the month of June. I'm still unsure of when we will go next year. I do know that the only times that we can go are late May, June, July, and Christmas. We would like to avoid going in December just because we want to take advantage of the water parks & we would love to go out at night to a park without having to bundle up. Crowds? I thought that Christmas was the worst as far as crowd level? Although, I truly didn't think it was that bad when went to the parks early or late for EMH. That plan would also be what we would use in the warmer months as well. I don't know what to do. :confused3 It's a good thing are trip isn't until next year. I will need that much time to figure out our dates.

Oh happy day! After a few weeks of treading water, I was able to post a 2.2 pound loss for the week. I am now at my lowest ever adult weight of 171.8. This gives me a grand total of 44.2 pounds lost since January 2007 (so close to new bling!); and an uber-grand total of 68.2 pounds lost since I first starting caring about this again in April 2005. That puts me 2.8 pounds away from my Easter goal, and 16.8 pounds away from my ultimate goal weight of 155.

Let's see some great numbers everyone!

W I DISNEY ...that is amazin keep up the great work! :goodvibes

I am down -1.5 pounds today. next week Im hoping to weigh in at 139.

Woke up to snow this morning !!!! aot of it!!! going to have to do a turbo jam workout at home today!..

that is one thing i like about these exercise dvds..no excuses

Hi Peeps! I have not been at all Peep-ish lately. BUT, the 8 pounds I gained on my trip is slowly shrinking, and I'm not even trying. I am almost back to my pre-trip weight. Which is still ginormous and sometimes feels insurmountable!

The good thing is that my heel spurs are not bothering me!! Even when I went to WDW this time, I had no problems with them. So now I have no excuse not to exercise! Other than my laziness, of course!

I am happy to see you guys reporting some good numbers today! Keep up the good work!

No free pass for you. ;) One per lifetime. Use it wisely.:scared1:

I haven't even gotten on the scale yet! I'm all out of whack from serving jury duty. I'm soooo thankful I didn't have to serve today!

Where IS everyone?

Disneyfav4ever- Pretty bracelet!!!! WHAT is your first name? Or can we shorten your name? "DF4E"?

Melinda- Stay away from them Green Goblins! Mine haven't come yet either.

Aaron- I'm not kidding, when I read your post, I was beyond thrilled for you!!!! 2.2 and 16.8 are so do-able!

I need to find some motivation! I feel myself slipping into "easier ways" and being lazy. Just writing that sentence will probably be enough to cattle prod me back to dieting better and getting ON the tread mill.

That's fine. I don't feel comfortable posting my real name in a public message forum, I wouldn't mind if you Peeps knew it, but for privacy, and the fact that anyone can read this, I really don't want to post it.

Wendy, what was Jury duty like? I have never actually done it. Did you feel the full weight and responsiblity of having someone's fate in your hands.

ray came home with 6 - yes, 6 - boxes of girl scout cookies today!!!!!! :scared1: peeps, give me strength. i'm not a big sweets person but girl scout cookies are my weakness for some reason. i told him to leave them at work with him when he told me he ordered them, but does the boy listen? NO! so far i've only eaten 1 samoa and 1 tagalong. :scared:

:scared1: Oh Tagalong's are my favorite. DH likes Thin Mints. They do freeze quite nicely so put them in the freezer and only take out one box every couple of weeks. Yeha right I would eat the Tagalong's in one sitting anyway, that's why I don't buy them anymore.

that picture is the BEST..evil little green goblin girl! so far i have escaped the cookie monsters...i turn my head when i see there "lair" set up at the grocery store...lol!

so...i will not be able to weigh in this friday..i am leaving bright and early for a spa weekend up in Freeport maine!! i am going with Greg's mom and a bunch of her knitting/spinning friends..i can't wait! I will be sure to take pics and report back..one saving grace is there is a nice fitness center at the inn we are staying at..so that should help burn off the free afternoon tea calories!!

so happy weigh in everyone..i will be back in the game next week :)

Have fun. Take lots of pictures.

Does anyone know about this code i read about about the budge board site.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1729301

I'm confused about how to go about using it and if I qualify for it

I already have my room booked at the beach club villa may 14 for a week..but did not get my park tickets yet? hmmmm should i call about this..very confused...help?

Sorry hun, I'm clueless when it comes to these codes things.

Here's a link to pictures of my bracelet if anyone wants to see. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=23345509#post23345509

Very cute.

Hi all,

Ok, strange question. What are Girl Scout cookies? In fact what is a Girl Scout? Over here Scouts are boys, so Im assuming Girl Scouts are the same as our Girl Guides?

Strange question over!:rotfl:

That's not so strange, you're exactly right.

I'm +2 lbs. this week. :scared1:

I have went in May and the weather was gorgeous, crowds were decent. We went the middle of May. One year we were actually in MK on Mother's Day, that was the day we were leaving but it was a late flight so we went to MK. They gave every Mom a carnation. Of course I cried because DS was only and I was preggo with my second. Those hormones will get you every time. We went to the water parks too. It was excellent weather.

YEAH FOR AARON. :cool1:

I'm up 4 lb today. :scared1: I weighed in on Tues at WW. I DID NOT drink any water last week and I was due to get AF (sorry Aaron). Well she dropped off her suitcases this morning and I already feel my rings getting looser. I've been doing great with my water since Tuesday too. I'm not saying I didn't eat some because I did. I had ice cream three times last week. Darn AF for coming. Anyway talk to you guys later.

Laura:flower3:

Good morning Peeps. For those losers, major congrats. For me, I'm a SAMER. What a shocker that is.

For those of you who are Girl Scout cookie haters, please send me your addresses and I'll forward my cookies to you. That way everybody wins. My boss's daughter was selling them; how could I NOT buy when he's been so generous to me this past decade.

Wendy, jury duty ranks up there with chemotherapy. I did a trial a few years ago where the plaintiffs only spoke Spanish so the entire trial had translaters there. On one day, we spent 6 hours with the attorneys arguing over the Spanish/English translation for irrigation standpipe. I just wanted to stand up and scream "WHO CARES". That was 3 weeks of my life I'll never get back.

Melinda, my flax seed is like little seeds, not crushed like meal. I got it at the Whole Foods store and it came in a bag that said ready to eat. You didn't specify anything about the size or style. Anyway, what I hate about it is that it gets stuck in my teeth. However, I do like the texture added to oatmeal so I figure it's worth it.

Kat, thanks for the words of encouragement. I don't know if it's me. I'm thinking that my goals are unrealistic. I have no idea what I should weigh or what's normal. I've lost so much already so I don't think I'm a very good judge of myself, if that makes sense. Right now, I'm wearing size 10's that are pretty baggy but 8's are a little snug for my taste. I want that 8 so badly. But I'm 5'8" and maybe I'm not meant to wear an 8. Sorry, I'm just whining here and that's very out of character for me. And I'm very grateful that I've gotten healthy in both my eating habits and my exercise routines. I do feel so much better and I should just celebrate that.

I hope all of you have a great weekend.

i'm +2 pounds today. i'm okay with that though since i'm just trying to maintain. that puts me at 132 pounds. by the way, samoas are the devil. :rolleyes1

Faith, I have found in the past that the closer I am to my goal, the slower the weight comes off. I bet Dawn can add her experience to that too. Just hang in there and know that at least you are being *healthy* even if the weight isn't going where you want it.

yep, she's right. it took me from like august to january to lose the last 6 pounds i had to lose. compared to from march to august i lost like 26 pounds. it seems to fall off in the beginning and then just really sloooooooows down.

Punkin!
Turned off the alarm!? :scared1: What are we gonna do with Ray?

:stir: i'm sure we can think of something. :rotfl2:

when you say late may are you speaking of just the last half of may or memorial day weekend? the reason i'm asking is i've heard may is actually really nice. i've been in early may and it was AWESOME. i think late may isn't too bad either....except for memorial day weekend. i know that some of our peeps have been in late may. kat? lynda? anyone else? i may be wrong about that though.

christmas is the busiest time but only like the week of and the week after. earlier in december isn't bad at all (at least from what i've heard).

good luck! honestly i think of all your choices that late may would be the best. the crowds will probably be manageable and it'll be hot but nothing like june/july. plus i think the more crowded the park, the hotter it seems!

I haven't even gotten on the scale yet! I'm all out of whack from serving jury duty. I'm soooo thankful I didn't have to serve today!

my deepest condolences. :lmao:

did you get picked to sit on a jury? isn't the worst part all the WAITING you do???? i hate that about jury duty. but there's just no way around it. the jury can't know ANYTHING about the case and in order to avoid that, they have to keep you in the dark. anyway, hope you got an interesting case if you got picked.

by the way, i had to share this with you guys. i did a book review yesterday for expotv and eli (my youngest beagle) decided to make a cameo. i had no idea you could see him in the frame but you can. isn't he a cutie?????? he's my little fat man.

Punkin - I LOVE your Southern accent. I have a friend from TN (she was up here last year and then moved back home) and I used to love to hear her talk. Eli is too cute. I saw the movie but did not read the book. Maybe I will have to go check that out at the library.

Laura

PS I went to Disney in May - see my above post if your interested.

You do have a sweet accent. It's one that I can't imagine you telling anyone off unless you were smiling and said "Bless your heart" in there somewhere! :lovestruc

Oh! I love that book! And you look adorable!

No problem at all! Especially since those mean girls would probably exploit that too. I wasn't asking other than your user name is longish and wanted to abbreviate you. :cutie:

I posted about it on Moo's thread. Very fun, actually!

Punkin- Samoa's ARE the devil! I can't eat just one of anything lately, so I better not touch the box of cookies. I think I ordered the sugar free ones...as IF that will help!

Hi all,

well im -0.5lb this week. I'll take it. Ive been drinking the water and eating the right food (mostly!) but I just haven't dragged myself up and done the exercise. Well no more, I am on a mission to fit in my wedding dress, I will exercise!
