I hate GS cookies. I sold them as a girl. We were like GS cookie central. My dad would take that form to work (Chrysler Programmer) and we'd sell a gazillion boxes.

I don't think they taste like they used to.

that picture is the BEST..evil little green goblin girl! so far i have escaped the cookie monsters...i turn my head when i see there "lair" set up at the grocery store...lol!

so...i will not be able to weigh in this friday..i am leaving bright and early for a spa weekend up in Freeport maine!! i am going with Greg's mom and a bunch of her knitting/spinning friends..i can't wait! I will be sure to take pics and report back..one saving grace is there is a nice fitness center at the inn we are staying at..so that should help burn off the free afternoon tea calories!!

Did you see the Lunar Eclipse last night. My boys thought it was totally cool and mom got points for letting them stay up an extra hour.

The moon is visible over here this morning and it looks like a harvest moon. Big bright and yellow.

That means I will be up 10 pounds at tomorrow's weigh in.

I think I'm taking my free pass tomorrow. I just haven't been good at all. Mainly I am still sick, not exercising, not going to the grocery store, etc. I just want to feel better. Like me again.

ray came home with 6 - yes, 6 - boxes of girl scout cookies today!!!!!! peeps, give me strength. i'm not a big sweets person but girl scout cookies are my weakness for some reason. i told him to leave them at work with him when he told me he ordered them, but does the boy listen? NO! so far i've only eaten 1 samoa and 1 tagalong.

OH NO!!!! There is no way I would be able to fight off one box of girl scout cookies never mind 6!!!! Especially the peanut butter ones!!!! At this point I would be knee deep in peanut butter cookies..telling myself "Ill start tomorrow!!"

we went outside to see it and we couldn't really see it very well because of the clouds. ray had been talking about it all night so he was really disappointed.

speaking of ray, guess who turned off the alarm this morning because he thought i was off today? yep....he did. i had to be at a deposition ar 9:30 and i woke up at 8:55 and it takes 20 minutes to get there! needless to say, my hair looks WONDERFUL and i did my makeup in the car. luckily one of the attorneys was a few minutes late.

I hope everything who is feeling unwell feels better soon.

I have fallen way behind on my WISH journal. I have however, been keeping pretty-much on track as far as staying under 1,800 calories go. I've been eating light yogurt for breakfast the last couple of days, and yesterday I had a salad for lunch, and chicken and vegetables for dinner.

I bought a few boxes of those 100 calorie snack packs a few days ago, and my only snacks yesterday were two packs, and a piece of chocolate, which was 75 calories.

amen - I don't particularly care for the taste, but mostly I just have horrible associations with selling all those cookies. I've said often that I would starve to death if I had to depend on my selling anything. I hate it! Not my gift!

But haven't I heard you can freeze them - particularly the evil thin mints?! That way you can enjoy them more slowly?

Thin meets freeze wonderfully. That's the best way to eat em too, straight out of the freezer.

I've been exercising faithfully (an hour of cardio every day) and eating right, including the dreaded flax seed. No movement on scale though. I think I'm going to get weighing myself after tomorrow until the last week of the Easter challenge. I've decided that a "watched pot never boils". I need to do something so that I don't give up. I'm so close now and I just want to get there. Dang it.

Faith, I have found in the past that the closer I am to my goal, the slower the weight comes off. I bet Dawn can add her experience to that too. Just hang in there and know that at least you are being *healthy* even if the weight isn't going where you want it.

We managed to see the eclipse last night. It was starting to cloud up but at least went total before all the clouds rolled in.

I like GS cookies okay but I am not really a sweets person. My vices are the salty snacks like chips, cheese, fatty foods.

The US Boy Scouts are based off of the UK Boy Scouts. Don't tell my BS Leader friend that I don't remember the guys name who started the UK BS. The US Girl Scouts were formed later but are basically the spin off of the US BS, so I would guess that is like the UK Girl Guides.

The big fund raiser for the GS is cookies they sell. They come in boxes and are usually sold door to door, at store entrances or by parents at their work. They make the same cookies each year, but do change then on occasion. My DH loves the thin mints.

Ah, thank you for that! I just saw a lot of people mentioning them and didn't really know what they were! They do sound a lot like out Girl Guides.
I also just googled the cookies as I like the sound of Thin Mints. Also, any of the peanut butter ones! Thank heavens I live so far away!

I had class tonight, was busy working on my paper to turn in, and then remember I didn't finish reading a book. So I was busy. Then after class I went grocery shopping.

My kids are going to be so happy when they wake up and see things to eat!
