DISappearing PEEPS Volume 2

Right now I am eating strawberries right at that perfect point of ripeness... dark red and oozing juice when I bite in, but not yet at the mushy stage. Yumm. :goodvibes

YUM!!!!!!!!!!! i love strawberries oh so much...esp like that!

I keep my calories to 1200. I have just learned to ignore the hunger and focus on what it is doing for my body. I eat healthier, my skin is better, I have more energy, and I sleep better. Oh yeah, and that thinner thing. :)

I hear ya..i have gone to bed hungry a few times this week..and i just have to think its for the greater good...i just drink a bunch o' water and wait for the morning ;)

Oh and I finally was able to watch Enchanted. I love it. It was so cute. I loved how they had animation and real people. Susan Serandon was excellent. Of course McDreamy too. The girl who played Giselle was very good too, I know her first name is Amy but drawing a blank to her last name. Even my boys watched it with me.

SO cute isn't it! We have to pick it up tonight..the place we always pre-order our DVDs from is giving away free pins with it too...oh and her last name is Adams :)

I'm quick skimming this morning before a 9:00 am meeting, but this caught my eye. Probably my biggest claim to fame as a kid was winning our local pinewood derby and coming in 3rd at our regional competition. Although, my dad is an engineer so he made sure that thing was aerodynamic, well balanced, and almost frictionless. I just came up with the basic design, painted it and put some decals on. Wait, my dad painted it too. But I did put a few decals on. That counts for something, right?

No sneak peeks for me this week..i am kind of afraid..but i have been pretty good with the eating/water and very good with the exercise..so we will see. I feel great today though, a ton of energy ( i didn't even need my coffee!) and overall sunny disposition..now if the sun would just come out and show that spring is really here, i would be alot better :)

Thanks on the last night I thought that's what it was but didn't want to post it and look silly. You got pins, I got Lithographs but I think I would have liked the pins.
 
I got on the scale today I am a samer! thank god! I feel like a walking marshmellow Im all puffy and my fingers this morning looked like sausage links. Aunt Flow is killing me this time around. Going to try and drink more water and get more cardio in 2day to get rid of the excess water

Windwalker (a.k.a. Panda Dave) just posted the following message on the racing threads and I thought it was appropriate to share here. We have several folks on our thread (Body Board) who are going through some stuff right now and this just seems to fit....

The letters stand for We are Inspired to Stay Healthy. But the WISH team has come to mean much more. The team is made up of people with caring hearts and spirits seeking adventure. We are a unique group of people. Most of us have been on other internet forums and you know this group of people is very different.

I have read that several of our team are having a hard time of it right now. Family concerns, constant bad weather, injury, work that seems over powering all these things and many more make it hard to stay motivated. We are a Team but not a team that competes in a sport but a team that helps each other compete in life. A team that helps each other stay strong and on the right track to a healthy lifestyle. Because we believe that lifestyle is important, but the road is often tough.

After you read this close your eyes and visualize all of the WISH team joining hands. If you are feeling strong and pumped about life send out those vibes of strength. If you are feeling down and weak, draw on that strength that the rest of us are sending out. It's not just the net that can travel through cyber space, a message that is far older can travel the airwaves as well the message of caring.

People were designed with the power to help each other when it's needed. Let's use that gift and help each other through the tough times and then when we gather again celabrate how good life really is.
 
just a fly by.....i feel like i'm neglecting you guys lately because i don't have time to read every page......i'm so busy with work!!!! but on the plus side i'm gonna be set for disney come april 27th as far as money goes.

i bought it yesterday and i loved it just as much as when i saw it in theaters. prince edward is my favorite character! "i don't know what melodramatic means, but you will be removed from the throne forever, narissa, i will see to it!" :lmao:
 
Hi everyone.I haven't felt very peepish lately and haven't been checking this thread.:sad2: Stress has been sky high and I have been coping with food.NOT GOOD...anyway the last few days I have reccommitted myself...again.Hope everyone is doing well.:grouphug:

UM - they're talking about you over on the food porn thread! i posted a picture awhile ago of you and me on there but it was to show a lapu lapu (i think.....if i remember correctly). anyway, today someone quoted it and was like, "that's utah mama!" so now you're a celebrity of the food porn (part II) thread!

also, i just have to share this with you guys. i'm going for my yearly exam tomorrow. last year i went around the end of february, right about the time i started my diet. i mentioned to my doctor that i was trying to lose some weight and she looks at me -- a woman who's about 5'1", weighs about 100 pounds and has had 5 children -- and says, "well, let me give you some suggestions for snacks. when you get hungry, try eating about 6 almonds."

6 ALMONDS?????? :eek:

i'm sorry, but 6 almonds does nothing for me.

anyway, i can't wait to get weighed tomorrow and see what she says about it. i've been waiting for this all year!!! :laughing: since you guys have helped me with my weight loss, i had to share that with you. i'll let you know what she says!
 
Just a fly-by from me. Kids and I are watching Little Mermaid, since Survivor is not on tonight. Thinking thin thoughts for WI tomorrow! I don't feel like there is much else I could have done this week. Stayed within my points every day, drank about 72 oz. of water every day, and exercised for minimum of 30 minutes every day this week! The scale better look GREAT tomorrow! Good luck to everyone!.....................P

i hope i didn't step on any toes by posting that picture! i think the reason i posted it was because people were talking about lapu lapus and there was one in it. please forgive me if you don't approve!!!! :guilty: i don't even remember when i posted it - a long time ago!

I am suffering from the too busy to eat syndrome. Work is killing me.

However, I saw happy numbers this morning... and I am a PEEP this week...

6 almonds. Ha!

So I brought my lunch to work today, then my kinder crew all wanted to go to Red Robin. I ate my sandwich and carrots before we went, then had a cup of chicken tortilla soup, no sour cream, at the restaurant. Right as the soup came, my sister in L.A. calls, all worked up and saying my mom (who lives 20 minutes from me) needs to go to the emergency room. I still had a meeting to go to, and my classroom to clean up, and prep to do for the week after the break. I called my brother, and he said he would check on mom, but then I'm really worried. I think I ate half a bag of robins' eggs during the meeting. I left work early (so I have to go in during the break) and zipped over to my mom's house. She's fine. She had a disagreement with her caregiver, and went into a depression, but they talked it out and she's doing better. By the time I got home, I was so frustrated and wrung out, I bought a pizza for dinner.:sad2: I ate 1/4 of a large pizza.
Now I'm going to try to haul my draggin' buns onto the exercise bike. I have a very bad feeling about weigh-in tomorrow.

Nothing like family troubles to make you wanna eat! Glad to hear that your Mom is okay. Not sure what your WL plan is, but depending on the pizza kind/type, 1/4 might only be 10 points... not too bad in the grand scheme things.

Well, finally my scale is moving a bit more. I am down 2.1 this morning! Yeah me! Slight less than five more pounds will put me at my 30 lb mini goal before we leave for WDW. I think I can do it!

Hope you all see a good number this morning..............P
