punkin - Love your hair!
I hope things get better for your little guy. He sounds like such a sweetheart and so sensitive.
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO CHRISTOPHER!!![]()

My baby's B-day was Monday. Where did 2 years go?!?
Still thinking about getting a "mickey" on my hip, but at 49....do you think I may be too old ?????![]()
OK, I just got back from my 5 mile run. I did it in 1:02:54! I'm turning into a speed demon!I am really beginning to see that I will be able to finish that 10K next month, and ought to have a half decent time too!
I got a new "do" (got it colored) too Punkin. I'm still on the fence about it. Last week I went in , and she gave me a permanent color but not 100% gray coverage. I did it on Monday, and saw gray by Thursday! So, I went back yesterday and told her I wanted the 100% coverage. She told me it would be darker, so I told her to go a little lighter then. Well, it is lighter, but it has more of a red tone to it now. My husband says I'm being to AR about it, and that it looks fine. Don't get me wrong it does look good, it's just not what I expected. Plus I still see gray.
This is why I have never colored my hair before because I know I am too picky.

Hey everyone. Mid-week check in....not so pretty. This has been a rough week back on the wagon. I just cant get over the 'eating like I am still pregnant' mentality. It is killing me. At this rate I am going to gain this week instead of losing![]()
I love the Twilight books! I can't wait to read the next one. I love to read, and will even reread books if they're good enough. This series is good. My 15 year old daughter loved them to.
Hi all! Remember me?
This weekend is going to be a challenge for me. There will be 32 people at my house on Saturday to celebrate the baby's 2nd birthday. There will lots of temptations to avoid but my plan is to eat a big salad before everyone arrives and have fruit salad instead of cake. I know the kidlets will talk me into hanging with them in the moonbounce so at least that is some exercise. In prepartion for the hoardes that we expect, I am taking the day off tomorrow to clean, cook and mulch my gardens (and from the looks of it I will be mulching in the rain...Send the sun my way on Saturday otherwise I may lose my mind if everyone is stuck inside for the party.
I doubt if I will make it back here until Sunday or Monday so have a great weekend Peeps!![/COLOR]

Welcome back!
I know you wrote you will gain everything you will lose when you go back to WDW! I do not think this is true. You probably will be walking more and this will help you burn some extra calories. I know my game plan when I go to WDW in 6 weeks is to split some of the entrees which I know are bigger with my mom. As we all know portion sizes at restaurants are HUGE! Since you are going to be doing alot of family style eating...i would make myself a plate and try not to go back for seconds. but if you do do not beat yourself up over it you are on vacation afterall just enjoy yourself
I know speaking for myself I hate to feel full and then have to walk around the parks. So I am going to try to keep that in mind while i am eating
Some of you are going to think this tip is crazy but I do this all the time and it works. You know when you are at a restaurant you are done eating, you are full but you still have food on your plate so you keep picking at it because it is just staring at you in the face and the waitor or waitress has yet to come to take it away.
please do not laugh but what I do is I make what is sitting in front of me completely unedibile. For example I will put some water in the dish or throw some diet soda on it. This way the next time I want to go have that extra french fry I can't because I already dumped water on it....crazy yes! but it works!
Don't be sad! No guilt from me! At least you had a decent excuse. I've had days where I have SAT at the YMCA for TWO HOURS waiting for DD's swim team practice and I STILL haven't gotten my fat behind down to the gym for even a few minutes. Total lack of motivation and laziness were my only excuses.
Today is a new day! Aim for 15 minutes of walking/running by parking further from the building and taking the stairs when possible and take it from there! I've done 35 min on the treadmill today, but am "planning" on doing a 5 minute stair sprint later.
I've been challenging my kids to see who can do the most circuits (one up and one down is circuit) on the house stairs (13 steps) in five minutes. I was DYING at the end and had only done 20 and that was a struggle. DS did 29 in the 5 minutes, and DD couldn't let her brother beat her and managed to do 30 in 5 minutes. I was impressed, plus it got the kids a bit more exercise without them even realizing it! This was Monday. We did it again Tuesday and I managed to do 21 1/2 circuits!
Kat.... keep smiling and have a GREAT day! Think of me as your cheerleader, not your coach. I'm only here to say good things and to cheer you on.
GO Kat!! GO Kat!!
You are a lean, mean, Dis-ing machine!

Dawn~ Count me in too. (I don't know if I have to state a goal or my current weight or what so please fill me in!)
Okay folks, what is for lunch? Is everyone eating healthy and delicious today?
I'm having a big salad with baby spinach, romaine, grape tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper, yummy ripe avocado, flax seed, 1 ounce of lowfat hard cheese and a small handful of fat free croutons. Dressed with Paul Newman lowfat sesame ginger dressing..... so filling and delicious! Weigh in tomorrow is a GREAT motivator to eat well today!
Hope everyone else is good today..................P
I had a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast, and a Lean Cuisine panini for lunch. I'm going to have some chips, ("healthy" chips, multi-grain ones,) with hummus for a snack later, and probably Lean Cuisine for dinner.Okay folks, what is for lunch? Is everyone eating healthy and delicious today?

Well- tomorrow is weigh in day- right?? Not sure what the scalew is gonna say, but I have a COOL NEW TOY!!
It's a Salter food scale. But, it's no ordinary food scale- No Sir-eeeee!! This one tells the weight, fat, carbs, cholesterol and calories of each piece of food you weigh, amongst other things! I'm excited to get ti because I am pretty insulin resistant and I need the carb counter on there for sure. I meet with the endochronologist next week- and having this thing will make my food plan much easier for me .... at least I think it will.
I'm thinking this might be the best thing since sliced bread (and since I'm gonna have to cut that out, I need something to replace it!) for me! Yipppeeee!!
Enjoy it!! I have my handy-dady Sunbeam food scale that just weighs the food. B-O-R-I-N-G!!!
welp, i have a new 'do! i like it although the back isn't quite laying down the way i want it. it will though. my stylist said my hair is just in shock! i'll post pics soon.
ETA: go here for haircut pics: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=24196568&postcount=644

as soon as the baby is born (but I'm enjoying them now! WOO!)

used to have his ears "gaged out" to about 5mm- which is a whole about the size of your finger- all this was done after he graduated HS and paid with his own $. He let ears grow up or best that they would - there is still a hole its just not as obvious
Okay folks, what is for lunch? Is everyone eating healthy and delicious today?
I had my NS black bean tortilla soup with a pinch of mozzarella cheese, a small romaine salad w/grape tomatoes, 1 oz. of diced lowfat ham and my favorite Kraft Italian Caesar FF dressing. Very tasty and filling. Now I'm getting ready to have a Boca burger (no bread or bun) and an apple for my 2pm snack which will keep me full until 5ish.
HI guys and gals (are there guys in here??) -
Just wanted to pop on in. I'm an old WISH kid from way back and had a grip on things until 30 lbs miraculously appeared after our move to Seattle in '06.
Tiff
