DISappearing PEEPS Volume 2

Oh yeah, I wanted to add on about the Tatoos. Nothing here for me! My DH went about 3 or 4 years ago and got my name and the kids names on his back, along with a sun, which is our company logo. But none that can be seen unless he takes off his shirt.

Me? I am a big chicken. No needles voluntarily for me. Unless I'm getting an IV put in, or getting a shot, (which because I have some funky blood type, when I was pregnant, it seemed like all I got were needles and shots) keep the sharp pointy objects away!

My DD15 wants to get her ears Gadged (sp?), and her lips pierced in a snake bite (one on each side of her lower lip), and she'd like some purple streaks in her hair with the back of her head shaved....:cool2: But so far she is the same blue eyed blond that I gave birth to, without even her ears pierced at all. She says if she can't have her ears the way she wants (with big HOLES in them) then she won't have any at all. I say? Allright! Actually, I told her if she made A-B honor roll, she could get her hair colored. But the chances of that seem similiar to a snowballs chances down under. So I guess she stays the same. Until she's 18 and has her own money....and stubborn streak. But hey, that's 3 years away- so I'm not going to worry over it now!
Yes, teenaged hood is simply maaahvelous. Love it!

Going through the posts I noticed that Melinda hasn't posted for a couple of weeks. I hope everything is okay with her. My life has been insane. I'm sooooo ready to quit the nursing program. I'm suffering from burn out. I keep telling myself that I only have 4 more weeks and then I can enjoy summer break. I'm under so much stress right now that I can't even focus on losing weight. I'll post a number in the morning but I'm sure it won't be pretty.

How far in the program are you? Are you getting your ASN or BSN? I start the ASN program for my RN in the fall. (They wanted me to start this summer, but I was thinking that missing finals week because of labor probably wasn't a good idea.) Are you gonna treat yourself to a Disney trip when you're done? I plan to! Good luck with school! :thumbsup2

Ack, I'm such a dud!

I've been getting ready to do an auction on a "popular auction site" of Norah's old clothes. All of them, 92 pieces, needed to be washed and ironed and photographed. I boxed everything neatly and need to go to UPS and weigh the package. Then I'll do my first auction :cool1: (need the money!!) A similar auction I was watching was for 86 pieces and got 40 bids ending at $244.00! If I get a dollar a piece, I'll be happy.

I just ate a HUGE dinner because I actually FORGOT tomorrow's weigh day! :sad2:

I ate a green salad with diet dressing. A serving of brown minute rice, and about 6 oz. of chicken. But I'm FULL. :headache: So I think I'll weigh later in the morning, I hope. pooh:

I'm out of the loop, guys! Sorry!!!!! I'll come play tomorrow after a GOOD night's sleep. I'm so tired that my head is throbbing. I stayed up late last night playing Bunko. I'm a needer of 8-10 hrs. sleep...and got only a few.

pjlla, I did it! I went to a pickup ice hockey game from 8:45-10:15. I hadn't been on the ice since Aug, but I guess all the arc/elliptical trainer work has helped because I made it through and felt pretty good.

According to this morning's scale peek, I am now down 18 lbs since I got back from WDW on Feb 5th.

My food today was an 100 cal oatmeal at lunch time, a salad (100) about 4PM, and then I did Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. Salad bar (~100), Petite Sirloin (206), Mashed Cauliflower (153), and steamed broccoli (129). Wow, I just realized after adding all that up that I was only at ~800 today. It is after midnight, though, so I am not eating now... I knew the sirloin was a good healthy choice but I wasn't sure exactly how low it was!

Here's to hoping that the weight loss fairy visits us all in our sleep!!

Great job Kat! And I understand from reading the Boarders thread that this was hockey with MEN! Yikes! I'm impressed. And super job getting the "post WDW" weight off.

The "Scale Fairy" was kind to me today! I am -2 today! I am .4 away from my 30 lb. goal before our WDW trip. I'm gonna make it!! I've got 12 days left... maybe I can even get off 31 or 32 to give a little "buffer" to make up for all the Mickey bars I'm sure to eat!.........................P
 
Ack, I sabotaged myself last night. Im a Samer. The crosstrainer is coming tonight, after many days of saying the same thing! Soooo, next week is MY week!
 
OK- I lost a little, but not much. Mark me down for -1this week.

Hopefully next week it'll be at least 2 lbs.

Today is the Milwaukee Brewers home opener, and I'm heading out soon to enjoy the festivities and hopefully see a win. To get an idea of how big the home opener is in Milwaukee, it is the top story on all of the local news broadcasts this morning. They've got their C and D crews in the studio because all of the regulars are out reporting from the stadium. It is literally like a state holiday.

I am down -1 pound this week!

40 days till my Disney trip and I am about 3 pounds from my Disney goal weight (130).....and I am going to do it!

A few new pieces of info for April Peeps Patrol vs. Body Boarders challenge...
1st...
Weigh In is still Friday morning....Results are not guaranteed to be posted till Tuesday...I originally had promised Sat...but some don't get me their stuff till Sat and Dan is gone every other weekend and quite frankly...it takes almost an hour total between the 2 formats we both use to gather all the numbers...then he tally's them. That is an hour sometimes he and I don't have at the same time. Hence Tuesday....

I need to send out PM's regarding the magnets that need to be sent out. That will be done this weekend. I need to create a spreadsheet so no person get's the same magnet from the same person/same state preferably for quite awhile.

Please PM me when you send the magnet so I know it was done...maybe put a note in it saying your name and a little about yourself so it can create a little more info between sender and recipient.

When you get your magnet...please pm me so I make sure you are not upset you did not receive one. I know we all mean well but speaking for myself...I have forgotten things a time or two. :rolleyes1

I think it is only fair that if you make the commitment to be a part of this challenge..please commit to posting at least 2 of the 4 weeks. We all go on vacations/have life go crazy...so missing 2 times...okay...but please post each Friday if at all possible...if you miss posting...no biggie post next week..but your weight will not be considered for the previous week and it will be considered a miss.

Here is why...last month when people missed..and then went to post 2 or 3 weeks at a time...it screwed up all the totals for the top 5 and meant more work for Dan and I. You guys probably don't care...but I am not kidding that between my sense of guilt...Dan's OCD of perfection in graphs and tallys...it caused probably another2-3 hours of work for the month.

People may be saying...so just don't redo them...but I thought it was fair only to let you know ahead of time..no surprises...and hope you understand that I want this to be fun...for you and me..not stressfull.

I also think if you miss 2 or more postings...then you fall out of receiving a magnet for this month....

I probably sound like a dictator...but I am trying to be fair to everyone...senders of magnets may not have tons of money and if they are spending money to send a reward to you...it is a participation award as a team...and if you are not posting 3 of 4 weeks....you were not really being a part of a team that month. I am always trying to be fair...please tell me if you dissagree...I just thought that this was the fair way to determine who gets magnets.....
*****IF life gets crazy one month and you drop out...come back next month...I mean how many times can I count that I quit a weight loss commitment only to want back in next month. :hug:

The closer I get to breaking the into the150's the harder it gets.
since March 14th I have been hovering between 162.5 and 160.5 I think I am on the dreaded PLATEAU. I am ready to jump off this sucker!

Yeah, and I'm taking the kids to the movies today 'cuz spring break is almost over.....repeat 10 timeswill not eat Raisenets!!!!

Was really nervous, this is my first Friday weighin since starting last week. It has helped me alot this week....just knowing I have to post my weight today....and.... I am -2 lbs. That makes me sooo happy. With a starting weight at 144 and now 142.......my goal is to lose 4 more lbs. before memorial day and then 6 more before FD at WDW!

PS....In Ohio......60 and sunny tomorrow. WooHoo...get to open some windows and start spring cleaning.

dizneydawn - I'm a horrible person! I think I only posted my weight one time in March. I will still send magnets though!

One of the reasons I didn't post is because I gained ten pounds. Does anyone else do this? run away when they're being bad? :)

BUT! I started being good over the weekend and I'm down to 184.8!!!!!!!!!!
Which is the lowest I've ever been!!!!!
Since the last time I weighed (as in really put it in my spreadsheet, not got on the scale, didn't like the number so I pretended it didn't happen) I'm Down 2.6 pounds!!!!

I really like the 184.8 number, but it puts me at 134 lost. It seems like it should be more.

And I'm worried it's going to go up!
I drank last night. :(
I was depressed (still am).

But I don't want to.

Don't you all love people who hardly ever post then do a bunch of rambling every few months?

I just want to get married and have babies so I can sew boutique clothes for them. Is that so wrong?
