WHO'S WITH ME??!!!!

She was quiet because she was starving, and finally got some food. :rotfl2: Poor thing, we would forget to stop and eat. Saturday night, we had to rush from DTD to MK in order to catch Spectro and Wishes (which got rained out) and what did we eat for dinner? Mickey Head ice cream bars! :mickeybar We got some nachos after getting back to Pop. Good thing they are open til midnight! We got there at 11:45 and they were still open! :woohoo: :woohoo: Only on vacation can you do crazy stuff like that.

I would love to do it all again. We'll have to see if DH will go for it again.

Harley WTG on the workout. Sorry your DH won't join you. My DH belonged to the gym for 2 years before I decided to join him. Here's hoping it's just a matter of time w/your DH.
Hey, ladies! Weighed myself again today and now I am down two pounds from yesterday's weight. I don't know what made me gain the pound yesterday, but I am grateful for the advice you guys gave.
Well, I'm right there with you. I was up 1 lb. yesterday, down 1.8 today. I should have waited till this morning to post. I don't have your pooh: problem, though. Kashi or oatmeal every morning. Yummy Fiber 1 bar most afternoons.

Here we are!! Aldisnygrl and I at the WISH Pop meet!!! :goodvibes Its been over a week already!! so sad... I'll be in training for an 8K then my next half!! (I even put it in my ticker! So it has to be so!!)

Now which one is the skinny Minnie!!
You both look great. We're all so proud of you.

dwheatl: Thanks for the suggestion of going to the Thrift Store. I got several pairs of jeans and some lounge type pants. I think I have a pair for every day of the week.

The lady in front of me I swear had at least 200 items. They were having a red tag sale. 1.00 or less per item.
WTG. Did I tell you about the sweater I got for $7 last year for going to see the Who? I looked "Dead sexy" in it. I love thrifting!

WE got snow here today. Katie had a swim meet about 45 miles away. My mom called about 6 and I returned her call at 7:30. She asked if we were going anywhere and I said yer. She wondered ift they would cancel the meet and I said why would they cancel due to rain. She said sweety look out your window it is snowing. Yep--did not snow much at my house, but in town it did. Also driving in the ice and snow was very :scared1: saw several wrecks. Say a prayer -- one team was driving to the meet--it was 2 moms and some kids--they flipped several times. Has to air lift one mom to another hospital--broke her neck or back-Have to get back out in this in the morning.
Sorry to hear about the accident. I'm sending prayers.

She was quiet because she was starving, and finally got some food. :rotfl2: Poor thing, we would forget to stop and eat. Saturday night, we had to rush from DTD to MK in order to catch Spectro and Wishes (which got rained out) and what did we eat for dinner? Poor starving baby! We occasionally have ice cream for dinner on vacation. Including a hot fudge sundae at Ghirardelli Square w/ a friend who was a WW leader at the time.:rotfl:

I booked our hotel for our Feb. DL trip today. It was on again/ off again because of DS' school schedule changes. Now it's on, so I booked a 2 room suite for < $100, and it's right across the street from TOT. :yay:

Stay warm all.

Thanks Dwheatl- maybe tomorrow i can show him i'm not wimpy and i can go with him at his workout time. :cutie:

why is it we always come back to pooh: Could that be THE diet secret?

Didnt get a chance to post on friday.

Last week 175
This week 173.8

I've been moping(not mopping-no housework for me);) The girls and I were supposed to be in Atlanta this weekend for a dance workshop but when i called the teacher last monday about a costume issue and asked her about the upcoming workshop she told me she didnt have us on the list. And to make it worse the workshop is sold out and there was no way we could get in. I have gone from sad to mad. I gave her a check in August to pay for this event and she just neglected to send our money in. So I was disappointed, girls were disappointed and I gave into temptation and turned to my depression cure all- food- chocolate cake and 2 glasses of white wine to be exact- thought I would feel better- thats the problem with being an emotional eater- you always think that food will make you better and it does for a little while- so after 2 days of crying over what couldnt be changed I finally just got over myself.

As it turns out, SNOWED for the first time in 8 years here-I know my northern peeps are :rotfl: but that 1/2inch was a lot of fun. And I guess I would have rather played in the snow at home than trying to walk to the Marta station in the snow in Atlanta. All things happen for a reason - right?

So- once again- I have picked myself up- to try again.

:woohoo: Sparkie!! I'm angry with you!! So THAT's why it snowed!! I hear Atlanta is having all kinds of problems too! (I know on our prayer chain I received a prayer about a group that was competing in Atlanta and had a car accident - all survived, minor bumps and bruises, but still :scared1: GLAD you and the girls are safe and sound!!) You do deserve an apology with answers - but its hard if you want to remain there for the girls sake... {hugs}

KIMKINS Diet under the scope at Good Morning America - um arent they a tad late with this expose?? I would love to be thin, but i just cant give up food - and 500 calories a day is a bit like giving up food isnt it?? Replace fiber with laxatives - $60 membership??? (for that go with the Body Makeover Diet - the one with all the infomercials, and he works for ABC Makeover - you do eat 1,000 calories, lots of fish, high protein... NO CONDIMENTS! NONE... and no corn syrup - I'm beginning to think that may be a huge problem - corn syrup...) but he does add exercise, and goes thru the reasons behind the exercise....

Hi peeps. I have not been online since Thursday. My internet was down. So I'm weighing in from Friday. Sad to say I gained .8 lb this week. Melinda - I can't seem to find my motivation either. I haven't read all the posts I missed but later on today I will. I need to go to the grocery store, yuck. Talk to you later.

Laura:flower3:

The windchill is making it 5 below zero over here. I declared it cuddle on the couch day.

I may go back out and thrift for the boys. Looking for red tags!

They go through the knees of their pants so quickly.

Last night was fun, we watched our home movies of our prior vacations and took out the planning video with Erin and Luke, and take it easy Dave! I loved that one.

Sandy: I'd love to go to WDW with the peeps. I'll do what ever I can to make it happen this time.

[B]Wendy: STAY AWAY FROM THE COOKIES. I think it's time to post the :pooh: muffin recipe again.

Bo: Like, I am for sure totally staying skinny ya know!

Lexy: Hey girlfriend!

Lynda: Loved the mini report. It's been too long since I've been to Chicago. My son and DH are going for a school trip over night in April.

Noni: Hang in there! You've offered so much inspiring advice and suggestions. You can do this. WWPD?

Kat: Things better?

Harley: You are the exercise queen!

Heather: Driving in the snow is a must over here and you never think about it, almost human nature. Then when you read about that mom, makes you stop and think. Hope she's ok.

Allie: Cute picture of you and Sandy. You are such the skinny minnie.

The boys are coughing their heads off over here. The fevers are gone. Matt though has had some sinus issues. It seems like this bug is just never ending for them.

Monica YOU are AWESOME!! :cool1: Hope the boys get better fast!! Its below zero here, I dont want to think about it!! Dh wants to go to a movie... DD is still in jammies curled up on the couch!!

I am SO doing the Half Marathon in Disney 2010 - start saving people!!!

Uma confession time.... I've never been in ANY weddings.... wait, I just got hit with a memory - I was in ONE wedding!! My college roommate - I was the only one - it was Christmas - white blouse and a homemade plaid skirt - long.... perfect... I still want to see the movie - see what I missed!!

I really had friends in real life.... and I was skinny then! Really

Lynda I cant thank you enough for your Trip report - It inspired me to call my cousin - we used to do a getaway in February... in Chicago... a "Girlfriend Convention" from WGN talk radio - it got to be the same old same old, and expensive - but your report made me think - she wasnt keen on the idea until I told her about WICKED!!! So thank you for your report!! (and I'm still envying your coach bags - I ebayed them, and thought, hmmm maybe....) I do have a birthday coming up!!

I'm so trying to give up food today!! Well, not the nutritional stuff. Watching the KimKin diet people on GMA - they can have chicken broth and Cyrstal Lite popsicles!! Its NOT about FOOD.... Food is nutrition... food is not comforting...

DRINK MORE WATER PEEPS!!

I was in three weddings. One of my cousin's dresses was the worst. I dark purple velvet top, the bottom was a lighter purple mesh type fabric (can't think of the name for it right now) with a big purple bow on the butt just like that preview they show of her in that butt bow dress. :lmao:

Sandy - Where do you get your countdown ticker? I want one like that too.

The One, The Only.....

pooh: MUFFINS!!!! aka: Thursday Muffins

(Weight Watchers recipe for "One Point Muffins")

*makes 24*

3 C. "All Bran" cereal (I call it nuts and twigs) either the nuggets or stick kind
2 1/2 C. water
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pkg. KRUSTEAZ Fat Free Brownie mix....can use any fat free brownie mix, I think!

Soak the cereal in water for at least 10 minutes.

Add baking powder, vanilla, and brownie mix and mix well. (I use Kitchen Aid)

Spray muffin pan with PAM then fill each tin about 1/2 full.

Bake in preheated 350* oven for about 25 minutes.

These have a fibery texture and are very very moist. PLEASE drink lots of water with them (this tip from Melinda)

Monica, thanks for asking... yes, things are better for now but on probation. Hopefully the WDW trip will help.

Hehehe on the pooh: discussion.

The worst wedding I was in was the backless sleeveless green velvet w/ the green velvet past the elbow gloves. Bleah. Plus it was Jan in St Louis so FREEZING.

towards the end of the month, sometimes, they run out of bandwidth and you'll see a red x, but as the new month hits - magic - reappears!! :wizard:

Hey Kat - can you update your trip report??? pretty please? Pictures!!

well, unless you have a real life and all!! Take care!!

Hey, skinny ladies!

Where might one find the famous Fiber one bars? :confused3

Sandy I will pop in the video tonight and try to do so, just for you and Monica, m-kay? :goodvibes

I figure I should finish one before the next trip starts (Friday)!! :rotfl:

BONNIE!

You don't need the Fiber One BARS....you need the Fiber One CEREAL.

1/2 cup Fiber One + 1/2 cup skim milk = 100 calories :teacher:

And more importantly for you.......14 grams of fiber!

OH! And the cereal is more than $1/box cheaper at Target than at my grocery store.

Monica YOU are AWESOME!! :cool1: Hope the boys get better fast!! Its below zero here, I dont want to think about it!! Dh wants to go to a movie... DD is still in jammies curled up on the couch!!

DRINK MORE WATER PEEPS!!

I think you daughter and my sons would get along just fine. Thanks for the water reminder. I'm behind today for some silly reason. Me?? Awesome?? why thanks, :lovestruc

Sandy I will pop in the video tonight and try to do so, just for you and Monica, m-kay? :goodvibes
I figure I should finish one before the next trip starts (Friday)!! :rotfl:

YES!!! I was digging your TR. Really! :worship:

I'm off to find the pizza recipe Wendy posted. I think I bought everything. I hope cause I really want to make it tonight.

FOUND IT! WORTH A REPOST

I have a killer low-carb pizza recipe I found on LowCarbFriends.com...it isn't for the calorie counters or ww, I don't think because of the pepperoni and bacon and sausage and cheese....(feel your cholesterol rising) but it's a special treat and my kids actually loved it! No, there's no funky flour or tofu involved. I can post it here or PM it if anyone wants it.

DEEP DISH PIZZA

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1 ounce (I used the kind in a can)
1/4 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
8 ounces Italian cheese blend or mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup pizza sauce
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
Assorted toppings: pepperoni, ham, sausage, 4 ounce can mushrooms, green peppers, bacon, ground beef, etc.
Dash of garlic pepper or garlic powder and some Italian seasoning for top of pizza

In a medium bowl, whisk the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Whisk in the eggs until the mixture is well-blended and smooth. Add the parmesan and seasonings, then stir in the 8 ounces of mozzarella until completely moistened. Spread the cheese mixture evenly in a well-greased 9x13" glass baking dish or lightly greased and lined with parchment paper (see note below). Bake at 375º 20-25 minutes or until evenly browned, but not too dark. Let cool completely on a wire rack. When nearly cooled, take a metal spatula and carefully pry up the edges to loosen from pan. Ease the spatula under the whole crust to loosen. Keep the crust in the pan. This makes it easier to remove the finished pizza later. Refrigerate, uncovered, until shortly before serving time.

Spread the chilled crust with the pizza sauce, then the cheese and toppings of your choice. Lightly sprinkle with the seasonings of your choice. Bake at 375º about 15-20 minutes or until toppings are bubbly. Let stand a few minutes before cutting.

Makes 8 servings
Can be frozen

Per Serving: 304 Calories; 25g Fat; 17g Protein; 3g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 2g Net Carbs

I don't recommend making this in a metal baking pan as it will stick making the pizza very difficult to remove and the pan very hard to clean.

I think I may have discovered the secret to a crispy crust. I left the baked crust uncovered in the refrigerator for several hours. I think that allowed it to dry out a bit so that it became crisp during the second baking with the toppings. I was able to pick the pizza up in my hands.

NOTE: If you lightly grease the pan and line it with parchment paper, you'll have no trouble removing the pizza from the pan later. Greasing the pan makes the parchment stick to it so you can easily spread the crust batter.
