Dentist hint - Go to your happy place - block everything out... do the "lamaze" breath in.... count breath out slowly... (I have serious dental issues - no matter the small painless procedure, dentists still have to stop as the realize tears are rolling down my face - "are you in pain? what is wrong?" *sigh) prayers and pixiedust: here!!

Kat one day at a time!! How are things with your new friend? I really need to check out open skate at our ice rink!

Dance to get free dining you have to already have a reservation, as that promo is over... you may be able to use one of the codes for a room only ressie at mousesavers.com - if you still have your ressie w/ free dining then you (everyone in the room) has to have a one day base ticket ($70 I think for the one day ticket) <selfishly glad you are coming>

Submitted resume.... I feel sick!

As promised, here are a couple of pics from the wedding. I am still in the process of editing these. Some of these are edited, some untouched. I will post a few more later on.

The bride! (My friend was SO pretty! :goodvibes )

The flowers...The bride's were the white flowers, and the attendants' were the brightly colored ones. I  the colors! And the flowers were GORGEOUS!

And here's one that the bride requested. I was planning to do it anyway. I love it.

MONDAY's GOAL
Make a plan - PLAN TO SUCCEED!

1. 100 sit ups during the length of this day
2. 100 ounces of water (64 but its so hot and humid, I'm bumping water up!)
3. strength training
4. Check out the cost of the gym - again!!
5. Run 1 mile (I'm so sore, but I have to get out there, I sure dont want to, I'll take the lazy way out... wwpd?)

WHAT are you going to do today to ensure YOUR success?

I hit the gym for 40 minutes on the elliptical, danced the hokey pokey witha bunch of 4 y.o., did 2 sets of pushups and 2 planks (jeepers those make my muscles tremble!) I still need to do some twisty crunches and leg lifts, according to sparkpeople.

I also bought some sugar-free ice cream today that is pretty good. It's vanilla w/caramel from a company called Moose Tracks. 110 calories per 1/2 c. Yum!

Dance - heres the giggle DH loves the guy Dave who lays around and does the grown up activites and DS loves the teenager thrillseeker!

This years dvd did not go over well at all!

Its the happiest celebration dvd I think it got misplaced from being sued so much!

I contacted Disney and they said there was no way to get a hold of it.

I will gladly pay whatever expenses are needed to obtain one from anyone.

HEres keeping my fingers crossed!

Fidgey, I still have mine. PM me and let me know how much of it you want (planning CD for the computer? Brochures and such?) I'm thinking you just want the dvd in an unbreakable case, but if you want the rest, I'll send it.

Pigget - Your description of the week wore me out. I usually cry right in front of (or on the phone with) the people I am frustrated with. I have a hard time holding it in. Good for you for being able to pull yourself together, and for getting it done. You are amazing!

:flower3: and

Could I trouble you guys for some pixie dust? I'm heading to the dentist to get my filling replaced tomorrow morning. The Dentist says it is a 1 out 10 in terms of complexity, meaning it is like the first filling they teach dental students to do. Thats what he tells me anyway. Anywho, I'm relatively calm now but I know when I get there I will be sick to my stomach and extremely nervous. Please send some dust that it goes by quick and pain free!

Thanks Peeps!

Hope it gives you a chuckle. I'm praying for ya.

Lynda- Beautiful pictures. The one of them walking together choked me up; to think that it all could have gone so differently. Blessings for your friends as they start with this challenge.

And so glad the groom was able to make the ceremony.

Dance to get free dining you have to already have a reservation, as that promo is over

i think she said she was going to pay for dining and hotel, but that she had old park tickets she could use. right, dance?

i had totally forgotten about the groom's accident when i first looked at this picture and i was thinking, "boy.....he's wearing a really wierdly high grey collar! that's odd!!!" :rotfl: then i realized he had a neck brace on. duh!

GOOD MORNING!

Back from King's Island! It was great fun but a little more crowded than I would've liked for a Monday. They have a water park attached to the park so we did the water park for most of the afternoon.

DS looked at me yesterday afternoon and said "I'm having the time of my life!" How cute is that! I'll try to post some pictures later.
DH & I will be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary(the actual date is July 31st)
HAPPY 20th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!
TK, MARJOL, WINGS, BECKY (did I miss anyone?)....:welcome: We're glad you're here! :grouphug:
it's really harder to forgive someone who hurts a loved one than it is if they have only hurt you. Humph!
That's awful! I'm afraid that poor girl will be complaining to someone on his behalf for the rest of her life if she marries him. :sad2: RE: forgiving....brings to mind my former BIL...still working on forgiving him.
walked around to wait for fdil to cross - and out pops dh and dd - they made it after all!!
Awesome, Sandy!!! You're a racer!
Well... I am adopting a new baby.
Congratulations! Miss Kitty is lucky to have you! I like Sassafras...you can call her Sassy.

Danielle - thank you so much I think I have located one! Yipppeee!

Lynda- What a lovely dress, flowers and photgrapher! YOur pics are wonderful! THat dress loves p[refect!

WEll I have fallen off the food wagon hard! Night eattting is at an all time high. At Walamrt they had some diet stuff for night eatting I would hate to have to consier this but its getting very bad. I am very disappointed in myself.

I stopped writing food and water down and promised myself that Tuesday is just as good a day as any to start again.

I have not been exercising either. I have not done anything psositve in the way of taking some conrtol back with my eatting or exercise.

Depression is now replacing the positive outlook I was having. Why on earth am I giving away the little success I had I have no clue!

I know that the foods I am eatting are greatly contirbuting to how I feel mentally and emotionally.

NEw plan for today will call YMCA and look into joining will take a ride by sadly everything here so far away. Its 26 miles form here. I am a NYEr still in my heart! I want everything right around the corner!

Buste4d out noteboook again and will get back on htat wagon! Heres praying I stay focused.

Enough babbling out of me today!

Well... I am adopting a new baby. A kitty that is...

GOOD MORNING!
Congratulations! Miss Kitty is lucky to have you! I like Sassafras...you can call her Sassy.

Decided to name her Mia:

She's beautiful, I love her dearly, but she makes me . :headache: I ended up stuffy nosed with allergy eyes and hives yesterday evening. Then my throat started to feel funny (like it was going to close up). I quickly took a Benadryl and it got better, but there is no way I can keep her. So she's going back to the house she came from... my coworkers mom might take her (I hope). If anyone is in the northeastern maryland or southeastern pa area, she's the bestest little cat. Sweet, gets along with dogs (as you can see), is healthy as a horse according to the vet, and will do anything just to be with people! :sad1:

I've never really had trouble with cats before :confused3 , but I realized that I haven't lived with one in years. The ones I've interacted with have been outside or just "fly by" pettings at others houses. So sad...

Punkin is right- I knew the free dining deal was over and had to include a ticket. I just wasnt sure if I had to pay for tickets to buy the dining plan at all. We paid for it last year too, but we also had a package then so I wasnt sure what the restrictions were.

Such a cute little kitty!! I wish I was closer, I would take her in a second.

Lynda- Beautiful pictures. The one of them walking together choked me up; to think that it all could have gone so differently. Blessings for your friends as they start with this challenge.

Thank you! :) And I know what you mean about the one of them walking. The first dance was a heartbreaker too. She hugged him SO tight. (Well, it might have just looked that way. I doubt if she really squeezed too hard. ;))

GORGEOUS pics, Lynda! That dress is amazing.

And so glad the groom was able to make the ceremony.

Thanks! Her dress was PERFECT! She looked great! I'll have to post more later.

what a unique picture! i've never seen a bride photographed this way before. i know why i wouldn't be photographed from that angle.....ba-dunk-a-dunk butt!!! but your friend looks gorgeous! and i love the flowery-vinelike detail on the back of the dress.

:rotfl: Yeah, I could NOT wear a dress like she did and stand like that! Oh, the horror! :rotfl2: That detail is on the front of the dress too, and it was really pretty! We "discovered" that pose on accident. When she brought the dress over to my house to store it, she tried it on, and we took a few pictures in my hallway. She put her arms up on the walls, and I told her not to move! Well, when she saw those pictures, she liked them a lot, so we recreated it in the doorway of the dressing room at the church. As I started to set it up, I said, "Now, do you know what we're doing here?" And she said "yep", and voila! She knew all along she wanted a fitted dress, and she was so funny. She kept saying, "I have a good body now, and I might not always, and I want to show it off."

i had totally forgotten about the groom's accident when i first looked at this picture and i was thinking, "boy.....he's wearing a really wierdly high grey collar! that's odd!!!" :rotfl: then i realized he had a neck brace on. duh!

Glad you had fun at King's Island! :) Too funny (& adorable) that your little man said that!

Thank you! :goodvibes There are only a few on smug mug right now, just so I could post some here. I will add more once I get done running batch processes on them all and do a little bit more editing on a few. I hope to get them on there by the end of the week.

Lynda- What a lovely dress, flowers and photgrapher! YOur pics are wonderful! THat dress loves p[refect!

Thank you! The dress was so great it inspired me! :)

Lynda the pictures are gorgeous!! I LOVE that - (must take notes!! :) )

Thanks! :) I'm gonna send you a PM about this weekend and what not. ;)

Good Morning Peeps!

I hope that everyone's weight loss efforts are going well.

I'm sorry that I haven't been around much but I've been extremely busy with getting my kids ready for school and preparing myself for nursing classes that begin Aug. 21. I have a CPR recertification class at 1:00 pm today.

Also, there are 16 of us that are heading to the Smoky Mountains this weekend and I've been trying to get things ready for that as well. I probably won't be able to check in Friday with a weigh-in but I'm really at a stand still with weight loss any how so no biggie.

:welcome: to all of the new people and  to any one that may need one.

Later,

Fran

I didn't read any of the 15 pages I'm behind so I hope that everyone is well.

HAPPY 20th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!! congrats on 20 years!

(melinda - you're so good at remembering these things!!!)

Decided to name her Mia:

how sweet!!! too bad you can't keep her. i hope she finds a good home! i would take her but, number one, i'm in georgia and, number two, i have two beagles who would totally freak out over a cat!

speaking of my babies, i weighed eli (our canine peep!) last friday when i weighed myself and he weighs 40 pounds....:scared1: he's WAY too small of a dog to weigh that much. we've been taking him on daily walks so i'm hoping the weight will start to come off. i'll post his weight, too, on fridays! :)

She knew all along she wanted a fitted dress, and she was so funny. She kept saying, "I have a good body now, and I might not always, and I want to show it off."

good point!!! i had my wedding dress preserved just for that reason - because i knew that i wouldn't be able to fit in it in a few years and i didn't want to be depressed!!! i got a size 6 and it was quite snug when i first bought it (which was in august and i'm always thinner in the summer), but i wanted it that way so that it would hold my chest up adequately without any undergarments. anyway, i had my first fitting in january (after packing on christmas pounds!) and it wouldn't zip up! i was horrified and went on a crash absolutely no-fat diet and lost too much weight, so when the wedding rolled around in april, i kept having to yank up my dress because it would start to fall off me! DH kept telling me i was losing too much weight - but i didn't listen! i ended up having to put on the optional straps it came with for the reception....

UPDATES: Bruce is getting off IV for his blood staph infection. Ryan :cool1: the meds are working and he is doing much, much better. They are able to take out chest tube today and he will be discharged back to the hotel room. Praise be to GOD!!!

Jasper LOVES our cat! :lmao: We had the cat first. But Jasper and Oliver like to wrestle, and sometime Jasper licks Oliver on the head. It's SO cute! Of course, there are times when one of them wants to play (usually Jasper) and the other isn't interested (usually Oliver).

Jasper is weighing in at 25 lbs, and we are thinking she needs to lose a little bit, but she is a 13" beagle (not sure if Eli is or not), and Jasper is even 'petite' for a 13" beagle. She is a LITTLE girl! Also, the vet said it could be muscle from doing agility, but she could lose a pound or two. Her waist is a little thicker than it should be, and you have to work to feel a rib. It has improved since we started agility though, so I'm not too worried about it. I don't know how she is overweight though! Half the time she doesn't eat her meals! :headache:

I PMed Belle a while back, but I haven't heard back yet as to what her and her hubby decided to do.

We are DVC, and yes, we can buy the dining plan, and it's not part of a package, and it doesn't require regular tickets. We have AP's.

WOW!!! Those pics are great!! Wish you lived near me.
