i went to the gym tonight and did a weight class for the first time in 2 weeks and i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO TIRED!!!!! i will be so flippin sore tomorrow....get ready for the whining!

DH got creative last night and decided to marinate some strip steaks in rosemary, olive oil and crushed garlic.......i'm off to have some yummy dinner!!! with a salad, of course! ;)

That is a great workout... I had an intense one today too, and the hot tub is still sick, so I will be whining with you!!

Those steaks sound super yummy. I had a medium-rare 96% lean hamburger w/ grilled onions and reduced fat blue cheese, and an easy mac.

Hope everyone has a great and skinny night!

Thanks to everyone for your pixie dust...my dental appointment went great! I had to sit in the waiting room for 40 minutes which wasn't helping my anxiety but once things got going I was in and out in no time! And didn't feel a thing. And having my iPod with me was a huge blessing...so much nicer not hearing that drilling noise. It feels soooo weird now though and I'm still nervous to chew on that side (I haven't in 2 years!) My bite is totally thrown off. But I'm sure eventually it will get back to normal. Now I just have to find the time to go for a cleaning and I'll be all set!

yay!!! :yay: i'm glad for you that it's over!

Hey peeps- wow its been a while since i caught up with everyone 11 days to be exact! I've missed you guys!

hi, harley! :wave2: speaking of missing peeps, anybody seen UM lately?

Just watched BB...won't give anything away yet in case you all haven't seen it but I will say this:

If Amber cries one more time, I'm going to scream. Seriously. What is the deal with her? Does she have a glandular problem? A hormonal imbalance? Who cries that much? AHHHHHHH!

That is all :rolleyes1

the girl is a basketcase!!!

by the way, i know some of us have shared how we hate trying on jeans because of the way they're made these days - straight as an arrow! so if you have a big backside and a small waist you can't get anything to look right on you. well, i just wanted to share that i found some jeans today that fit me soooo good. i got them at maurice's and the style is called the sophia boot cut. i think they were like $26!!! :thumbsup2 i desparately needed some new jeans because i don't have a single pair that fit me. we're going to see john mayer sunday night and since i'm not yet really comfortable in shorts to "dress up" in and the other clothes that fit me are my work clothes, i wanted some new jeans to wear. if you have the problem i have with the waist hanging off your back when the jeans fit your butt, find out if you have a maurice's nearby and check them out! oh, and the best part....i got a 7/8! :woohoo: they're kinda snug but jeans always stretch once you wear them for like an hour, so i wanted to account for that.

i usually do weights more than cardio, but i've just missed those classes lately. so i know i'm gonna be sore!

in case anyone's wondering, the steaks were very good! i didn't use any sauce on mine! ray just took some olive oil and drizzled it over them, then crushed some garlic and got some rosemary from our backyard and sort of rubbed the garlic and rosemary in. he said he also put a little bit of sea salt on them. then he put them in the fridge overnight with all that stuff to marinate, then grilled them today! i think mine was somewhere around 400 calories and i had it with broccoli (didn't feel like making the salad!). so it was a relatively low-calorie dinner. i had a 220 calorie smart ones brownie for dessert though!

Im baaaaccckk!

Just started my TR so visit please!

And I lost 2 lbs in WDW and Rob lost 4!

We did our best to eat healthy lunches and constantly checked the pedometer (until I lost it at least)....

Our 2nd day we walked about 6 miles
Our 3rd day we walked 7 miles
Our 4th day we walked 5 miles
Our 5th day we walked about 5 miles
Our 6th day we walked almost 7
and that was the day that I lost the pedometer so I dont know if we walked more that day or what we walked our last day (I didnt record our first day)

Here's hoping I can stay in the healthy spirit at home!

OK I did it ! I joined the YMCA here and now I will just have to show up! LOL !

I asked DH to go walking iwth me after dinner and he said he would. I hope he joins me. I know it sounds silly but I am very uncomforatble lately within my own skin and my shame is getting the better of me. I do not wnat to leave the house due to my weight. I am very unhappy with my failure to just do what I need to be doing.

Why is this so hard??? Its nonsense! This is so commonsnse

Oh Fidge... . I know exactly how you feel. At my heaviest I wanted to hibernate in my PJs and never ever leave the house... I was so ashamed.

One step at a time... congrats for joining the YMCA!! We will be here for you no matter what. Jump right on up here on the wagon, we can do this together!

Heather, I can't believe it's time to get back to school. Hope tomorrow goes well.

My trainer measured tonight. I lost 4 1/4 inches but still haven't lost anymore pounds. I can't be upset because I can tell I'm smaller, but I would still like to actually lose weight!

Just keep slimmin'!

'Night, everybody!

Ask and you shall receive. I am still working on them, but here's a couple more to hold you over. ;)

You did a whole lot of walking--I always wanted to take one of those with me and forgot to get one everytime that we went. Glad that you had a great time.

Joshua woke at 3:30 screaming out MOMMY OUT!!! This is so not like him. Usually he is down by 8 and up around 6:30. SO I put him in the bed with us which we never do and we lasted until 4:30--now we are watching NEMO~~ Hope that everyone has a great and skinny day.

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE! :sunny:

Just a coupla things......

FIDGE!!!
....None of that stinkin thinkin from one of my favorite girls! I think it's awsome that you joined the Y! I actually find that the more I exercise, the more I WANT to exercise. If you can drag yourself on over there the first few times, then before you know it you'll be doing 4 classes a day like Dene! If you have to eat at night, eat a bowl of cereal or something. No snack cakes! YOU CAN DO THIS! YOU DESERVE IT!

HEATHER....Great news about Ryan and Bruce! Have fun at school! I forgot to say yesterday what a bummer about the house?! Did they really have to bust up the entire tile floor???

LYNDA!!!...Your friend is adorable! What a beautiful bride! And yo mama really knows how to bake a cake! That would be my ideal wedding cake....simple and elegant. It's awesome!

MEL! .....Welcome back! Gotta get over and catch up at your trip report!

EVERYBODY......... :wave2:

Have a wonderful day!

I agree with you, its getting really annoying. She may be emotional but this is too much. Although, llike most reality shows- maybe they are just doing a good job with the editing?? Sometimes that happens and makes the person look bad- but none the less, she still needs to give it up. Everytime i look at her, even if shes NOT crying she looks like shes about to!! UGH!!

Well the thing is he told me he loved EPCOT and it was his favorite park before our first date (and before I went on my "I love WDW" tirade)...and when I casually mentioned that it would be fun for us all to go, he agreed (And I mean casual...like "we should all go" said in excitement). Which is why I considered asking him. I just don't know how his school stuff is going so I don't want to burden him. He got his only final out of the way tonight. Progress Reports should be about done. He is working on his 2nd research. Sorry, I'm listing his to-do list. I have to head down there myself tomorrow to work on somethings so I'll see what kind of vibe I'm getting. I did just check rooms for the heck of it to see if anything is available and there are rooms so that won't be an issue. I have an AP. He could get a 1 day FL Res pass.

But there I go, getting ahead of myself. He did say he likes spontaneity though. Even though planning it a week in advance isn't so spontaneous. :rolleyes1
He already passed the test!!! I hope things slow down enough for him to join you. That would be very fun.

Today was my official last day of summer. Teachers head back to work in the morning and the kids start Tuesday. Did last minute school shopping for the kids since the painter was here and then we took them to get some more clothes tonight. I have to be at work by 7:45 in the morning to start meetings :rolleyes1. Will check in the morning. Have a good night everyone.
Good luck today! I cant believe you guys are back to school already. They arent starting here until Sept this year.

I have counted and so far there has only been ONE episode whre she didnt cry! ONE!! She is a nut job.

Yay! A 7/8, That is fantastic!

You can do it Fidge. Our Y has so may classes you are bound to find soemthing to get you there each week, and the more you go the more you will want to go. Shoot for 2 times a week to start off, then up it each week to a bit to longer or more times each week.

Im baaaaccckk!

I KNOW!!! She is so gee-golly annoying, that I think she is my least favorite person in the house. What was up with her balling after the veto competition? Ok, I can understand you don't like/agree with what Dustin did, but come on! To be brought to tears by that?!? It is just making me sick.

you look so cute! i have that same necklace. and wow.....your mom's a talented lady too!!!

My trainer measured tonight. I lost 4 1/4 inches but still haven't lost anymore pounds. I can't be upset because I can tell I'm smaller, but I would still like to actually lose weight!

if you're doing any weight training at all, it may just be that you're gaining muscle and losing fat.....and that's a good thing! anna (my BF/trainer) tells me that muscle weighs almost twice as much as fat. keep it up....i'm sure the weight will eventually start falling off too.

I KNOW!!! She is so gee-golly annoying, that I think she is my least favorite person in the house. What was up with her balling after the veto competition? Ok, I can understand you don't like/agree with what Dustin did, but come on! To be brought to tears by that?!? It is just making me sick.

the girl needs some zoloft or something. and did you hear what she said last night about jen? she was talking to dustin and saying something about how jen was crying so everyone would feel sorry for her and how she was faking it. um.......YOU should really be talking about ANYONE crying!!!!!!! i don't like jen and i'm not defending her, but come on! even if amber's tears are real, she cries so much that it's become annoyingly hysterical. she looks like such a fool.

in case anyone's at home, that fan's guide to disneyworld show comes on in 30 minutes on the travel channel. it's so cheesy, but i love it.

Those are so pretty! And you moms cake looks so good too!
(secretly a bit jealous I was not a skinny bride who got to wear anything so form fitting :rolleyes1 )

Thanks! :) My mom has actually been doing cakes since before I was born. At one time, she actually catered and did cakes full time. She also taught cake decorating classes many years ago.

I'm a bit jealous too. ;) Although, I think I still would have wanted my poofy princess dress! princess:

you look so cute! i have that same necklace. and wow.....your mom's a talented lady too!!!

Thanks! I got that whole outfit for the wedding specifically. I didn't want to wear a skirt, with what I would be doing, so I got black dressy capris, which I wish I had a picture of because I LOVED them! And I had on my new Steve Madden shoes. They are multi-color polka dotted. And I LOVE them too! I was really happy with the whole outfit. I wish I had another wedding to shoot just so I could wear it again. Unfortunately we can't wear capris at work, so I can wear everything else, but not the capris. :(

LYNDA!!!...Your friend is adorable! What a beautiful bride! And yo mama really knows how to bake a cake! That would be my ideal wedding cake....simple and elegant. It's awesome!

That was exactly what the bride wanted - simple and elegant! She wanted everything to be like that, and it was, and it was beautiful! :) I'll have to post a pic later of the favors and program because those were really simple, but really nice too.

And this morning when I stepped on the scale I was at the same weight as last Friday, which is great because I had a weekend of not eating so great. I didn't go nuts, and I have been really active, so that must have helped. Now if I can just lose something before this Friday, that would be great!

Tiptoeing In....

I SUCK!!!!!!!

UGH! I am seriously sorry for being MIA!!!!!

I've been sewing!! (It's the truth!)

And I've not been the best dieter.

AND!!! I just got a totally b*tchin' tread mill and Total Gym (think Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley) in barter for childcare! I'm excited! Oh, wait, do I have to actually USE them?

P.s. I'm soooo sorry peeps!!! Please forgive meeeeeee. I love you guys!!!

I've learnt how to sew and I'm totally addicted!

McCalls patterns are 99 cents at Hancock today, limit 5!! See?
