i don't think that's embarassing....i think it's really sweet!

and i think my DH would argue that football season counts as a season! in fact, we always have a superbowl party....he's celebrating because it's the superbowl and i'm celebrating because i get my husband back! :rotfl:
Thanks. Somehow, I knew I'd get a few responses like that from the women.

Yeah, my wife feels the same way after the Super Bowl. There is a two month gap in there after the Super Bowl and before baseball season starts that she knows she'll get my full attention. But the other 10 months out of the year, she has to share me with ESPN.

Aaron - those would be fresh Johnsonville brats - right?? :thumbsup2
Absolutely! Those are the ones I prefer. Although, I know quite a few people who have other sausage allegiances. But they aren’t welcomed at my house.

Aaron - those would be fresh Johnsonville brats - right?? :thumbsup2

okay....so i know people that love brats really LOVE brats, so i hope i don't make anyone mad here. but the one and only time i tasted a brat i actually had to spit it back out.....it was so gross!!! it was the only time i've tasted food and have not been able to actually swallow it! :scared: i guess i could never live in germany!

punkin, that would be because you've never had a Johnsonville FRESH brat grilled outside - now there are white brats, that are hot doggish - firm and pepperish, not so much from me - there are brats that are slimish that dont get my vote, and there are beer brats, cheddar brats... and I would spit out one that was boiled in beer and onions - fresh or otherwise - I just dont like them that way!!

but once you get a fresh brat, grilled to perfection - you'll know it - do you like breakfast sausage? The Johnsonville brats have a sweet flavor, and texture similiar to your Bob Evan's breakfast sausage - good flavor, not over powering, and definately on the sweet side (not overtly sweet... just yummy!!)

i'm not a big sausage person. i can take it or leave it really. the one time i tried a brat i was camping with some friends and the guy had grilled them. i don't know what kind they were though. i definitely forgot my southern girl manners and spit it out on the ground! :lmao:

What a great idea Tara!!

20. Something someone would be surprised to know about you - i used to work for kenny rogers
OK, spill it! I have to know some details here!

20. Something someone would be surprised to know about you- I sang on stage on Broadway. DH's uncle is a musician in the musical "Chicago" on B'way, and he gave us a backstage tour and had us sing on stage to an empty house so we could say we had done it.
WOW! That is very cool! Replace sing with dance and that would be a dream come true for me!

20. Something someone would be surprised to know about you
To follow up on number 16, my wife is the only person I have ever dated. I've been told that I'm a pretty good looking guy; but I've always had single friends, so why would I want to give up going out with the guys to spend time with a girl? But when all of my single friends got married I realized it was time for me to enter the dating scene. I met my wife about 5 years ago, and I knew pretty much from the start that she was the right woman for me. We got engaged three years later, and we are into our 2nd year of marriage.
I think that is awesome! Very special to be able to say that!

)I took a picture with my digital camera of our first WDW trip - and yes, there is too much polyester in the clothes!!
Thanks for the idea!! Off to find the digital camera....

I don't know if these are my best answers:goodvibes but I have a cranky little girl but afraid I will forget to do this.

We just got back from the Dr. and Rachel is having her adnoids and tonsils out on June 8.I hope she can sleep better when this is done.We have been home for two days because she has strep throat,I hope the rest of the kids don't catch it.I am going to try to get her to eat something, she has lost three lbs in the last three weeks.

OK, spill it! I have to know some details here!

when i was in college i was the office assistant for kenny rogers productions in hendersonville (close to nashville), tennessee. basically it was the office for his accountant, the person who made all the travel arrangements for his tours and his fan club headquarters. i answered the phone and made copies and ran errands and stuff. and i did certain things to pictures that involved a sharpie that i can give no more specifics on without the risk of being sued! :lmao:

get this - my schedule when i worked there was as follows:
monday, wednesday & friday - i worked at kenny rogers productions from 9:00 to 5:00 and then i'd have the night off to study.
tuesday and thursday - i'd go to class from 8:00 in the morning til 5:00 at night, then i'd wait tables at night.
saturday - i'd wait tables at night.
sunday - i'd wait tables during the day.

:scared1:

no wonder i stayed so skinny!!!!!!!! i could never have a schedule like that now.

People who argue just for the sake of arguing.

6. Fav WDW ride
Space Mountain

15. Best physical trait
This probably sounds goofy, but I think I look really good in a baseball cap. The shape of my face really lends itself to that. Also, I used to shave my head bald and I have a pretty good looking cranium.Nice skull, Aaron. Don't believe we've ever seen'd it!

16. Age of your first "real" kiss & what was his/her name
This will tie in really well with number 20. As embarrassing as it is, I was 25 and it was with my now-wife.Awwwww! How cute!

17. Goal for the next year

18. Goal for the next 5 years
I honestly don't plan that far ahead.

19. Fav season
Does baseball season count as a season? I'm a Milwaukee Brewers season ticket holder, so I would say baseball season. If that's no good, then I'll say spring because the weather is getting warm, the snow is melting, and everything is coming alive after a long winter.

5. Biggest Pet Peeve I have sooo many, but here are the top two-
-Slow drivers in the left lane!! (DD has repeated me saying "its the pedal on the left!" one too many times :rolleyes1 )
-Being late. My dad was always late bringing me places as a kid and now I absolutely obsess over it.
6. Fav WDW ride Soarin and a close second Small World.
7. First WDW trip Ahh, back when I was maybe 10 or 12...I will be back to tell more on that trip later.
8. Fav WDW hotelNever stayed there, but the Poly and GF look amazing! We have only stayed at Pop so far.

17. Goal for the next year To finally lose the weight I have been talking about for YEARS. And hopefully work on Baby #2 :)
18. Goal for the next 5 years To maintain a healthy weight and also really go out and try to make my dream of owning a studio come true.
19. Fav season SUMMER. I love all things summer. Pools, the beach (oh, how I miss the CA beaches!)BBQ's, long days and summer nights.
20. Something someone would be surprised to know
Gosh I am pretty boring I think! The best I can come up with is that when my now DH and I were dating (for about a yr) we decided we were ready to leave Ohio. We were at a restaurant talking about it and they had a map on the placemants (no clue why) and we literally closed our eyes and picked a spot to move to. CA it was, and we picked up and moved over 2000 miles. It was the best thing we ever did and completely changed our lives, for the better!

I love all these! It's a lot of fun getting to know all of you!

Love the surprises like S.Poppins had a wild past. Love you Stacey!!!!

Do you realise that most of the names you guys are choosing are never heard over here! :confused3

Sorry Aaron, can we call you Aaron, WI_Disneyfan??. Maybe it's because you're the "thread hunk", I must comment!
I gotta say, I am quite honored (or honoured for our friends in the UK) to be the subject your 4500th post! And to steal my dad's favorite joke - you can call me what ever you want, just don't call me late for dinner! :rotfl2: (Sorry, my dad is a real corn-ball and I guess a little bit of that rubbed off on me.)

As for not seeing my skull, there's a good reason for that. Any and all recent pictures of me are trapped in that darn digital camera, and until I get my computer out of storage that is probably where they will be staying. That is, unless I can dig up the picture CD our wedding photographer gave us. But that is probably in one of the 25 boxes sitting in my parents' basement right now.

Don't give up, Amy! Don't cancel til the 45 day mark! You might get some money you're not expecting.....ya never know!

And STEP AWAY FROM THE CHOCOLATE!

OK, first Disney trip back in the 80's sometime. Went to daytona beach first...we stayed in the Aloha Motel :rotfl: I got a HORRIBLE sunburn, and I never burn, so I had to stay inside for a whole day in the hotel. Then stay covered up the rest the week. We went to a tourist trap there called Xanadu, house of the future. Anyone else ever go there? For some reason I still remember it....it looked like an igloo or something from the outside and had cool gadgets in the house itself. Then it was on to Disney. All I truly remember is waiting in long lines and it being very hot. And of course, my Goofy Hat, which I still have! This is my sister and myself on that trip...no clue where the horse was we were standing by!
