DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 3

Sorry about that my DD16 almost DD17 did that while I ran to get water.
I would like to join peeps. I have lost 30 pounds since Sept. 10 but now I'm stuck and need to loose 10 more pounds. So maybe this will give me the extra push I need.

I forgot to mention when I was Woo-hooty-ing Dene rotfl: ) about her Y's Member Spotlight. I was that it might be nice if we did something like that for this board, The Peeps. Wouldn't it be neat to pick out a Peep (I was going to say "special Peep" but we are all special ) twice a month or something and just make that "wonders10 day" or "whoever day" where we all share something special about that person or have another peep "interview" the peep of the week and write a little something.

ok, I know this sounds like it would be a ton of work, but I just thought of it and had to share it. I've been in school way too long - I'm actually making up writing assignments

Ok, Girls Next Door on E! Anyone watch? There's a new one tonight. You all must think I have the absolute worst taste in TV. I sort of do I guess, but it's all about escaping for me and that's what most of my fave shows let me do.

I am having a really bad snacking urge tonight...I just want sooo bad to eat! My DH is eating sherbert and it looks soo good! He did ask if it would be ok to eat it in front of me which was really nice!

All the shows this afternoon/evening have been "up to date" through Everest... and it's been dangerous for me to watch. Kaytlin and I now want to go to our Happy Place! But we're not going to WDW until Christmas...

Because of the long time until our trip, I had thought we might go down to San Antonio to Sea World and had actually started looking into it this weekend. I just popped off to DD, "hey, we oughta go to DisneyLAND this summer" and she spun around and said "can we?!?!?!" Hmmmmm... let me see.

My family thinks I am a Disney Dork....I am sitting here Dissing, listening to "DIS Radio". Does anybody else do this? I like listening to all the Disney music while I'm dreaming of being there. I see nothing wrong with that.

I didn't realize there was a Peep on here from my neck of the woods..where in Buffalo are you? My best friend is in Hamburg!

Snowwite.....I get discouraged too when I try on my summer clothes. Why do we put ourselves through such torture when it's still early spring?! I have the cutest tops b/c I carry all my junk in the trunk and tend to stay small on top. But my shorts and cargo pants collection is horrendous. Nothing I feel pretty in. I did save all my good stuff from 3 years and it would be wonderful to fit into them again. But I hear ya...ask my DF...he knows that there are those few times a month I get down on myself for having to wear what I consider ugly clothes b/c I gained so much weight. Hang in there!

I eat sherbet...it's low in fat and my favorite substitute for icecream!! Go for it!

Does anyone know of a reputable pin trader on Ebay? I was considering starting a small pin collection before my trip but it's a bit overwhelming! I don't know much about WDW pins!! TIA!

Please send prayers our way--a dear friend of mine and a fellow teacher at the school was killed this afternoon after a major storm passed through. He was driving home and hit a tree. His wife and children were visiting her dad who was diagnosed this year with terminal cancer. HIs wife was my sons 5th grade teacher last year. He leaves behind his wife and 2 children. One in the 8th grade and one in the 5th. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day when his students find out. PLease send your prayers.

I am praying for them all right now.

My DD has been sick for 3 1/2 weeks. She got worse Fri. We went to ER and CT scan showed no tumor but we still have no idea why she has had a headache for close to a month. We leave in 12 days. I am a wreck with worry.

I worked out for 40 minutes this morning with Denise Austin's Hit the Spot. then walked to church (briskly, because I was running late). It was a good workout, but I forgot how long the readings are on Palm Sunday. I was sore standing, but there were a lot of elderly people standing too, so I figured I could take it. I thing I'm going to have a soak tonight.

Also, I got into a peanut M & Ms binge the other day. I almost hit them today, but the cat climbed on my lap and wouldn't let me up. Good kitty! When my DH and DD got back form Oregon tonight, they "took care" of the M & Ms for me.

Back to watching Narnia w/ my DS. It seemed like a good choice for Palm Sunday.

There's a beauty college that does Mandarin Orange pedi's for an HOUR for CHEAP! They are FAR better than the one's that tickle me and are "rushed" feeling!

Sandal weather is coming ladies! Or in my case, flip flop weather!

i watch the girls next door also and have two playboy necklace's i wear.... and have met Kendra in Las Vegas
so i have the bigger problem so don't feel bad .. i like to escape motherhood sometimes too so don't feel too silly ..

I over did it yesterday and was trying to recover. I cleaned for 5 hrs then tried to pack.Cried when my summer clothes would not button. Found some older fat clothes to wear. Cried and made a pie.Cried some more and realized I need a new suitcase because I can see through a hole in the old one. My sis came by and we had fun.

My sis trimmed my hair and we both got manicure/pedicure. I am soooo not used to this. I NEVER wear polish. It feels so wierd to me. It was fun though.

Oh no. How awful. Prayers sent.

Just letting you guys know what happened to me today as I left my job. I was exiting my school and came to stop sign. There was one car in front of me and to the left diagonally was 2 sheriff cars and another car between them. At the back of the sheriffs car were 2 suspects. The cops had a drug dog and that is what caught my attention. So I look back at the 2 suspects who were in front of me and to the side a little and I notice that one of them is throwing something across the street--it is a very busy street--I look and see the item hit the ground and scoot a little--it is in someones driveway. Well I think to myself that has to be drugs. I try to get the officers attention without the suspects seeing me, but that fails. Now the car in front of me is gone so I move up to the stop sign--shaking and calling 911 at the same time. They go through their spill and I stop her and say I am at this corner and there are 2 cops and 2 suspects--one of the suspects has thrown something across the street while the cops were at the car searching. Dispatcher informs me stay on the line and do not leave the scene. Well, I tell her there are cars behind me and I am going across the street to a business. I get across the street and and she replies the cop has not replied please give the information again. So I go through he spill again and she says he has it---I am like no he doesn't I am looking at it. She says everything again---finally the cop crosses the street near me and I am giving directions through the dispatcher--he finds the drugs and smiles at me. The dispatcher replies--you have made him a happy officer--he has what he needs. Please give me your name so if he needs to contact you he can. I ask --can I leave now--as I leave they are handcuffing both guys and putting them in the sheriff cars. I was soooooo scared that they would see me--because I did recognize the kid that tossed the drugs. I know he would not know me from adam, but I was still nervous. That is my story and as of now no one has contacted me.

Good for you for getting involved! I would like to say I'd do the same, but really am unsure if I would.

Eventer...I am in West Seneca. We moved here from NJ 17yrs ago, so I'm not a "native New Yorker". Oh well.

Did ok with food yesterday, even though I had ice cream last night. I hadn't eaten much and got exercise working at the deli for 3 1/2 hrs. Will do better today.

HAPPY MONDAY! IT'S A NEW WEEK!

Well...Spring Break started today! No lunches to make or carpools to drive!
It's beautiful here too....lots of rain night before last followed by a gorgeous sunny day yesterday equals green grass and dogwoods and redbuds in full bloom (and green/yellow cars!)....just spectacular!!!

It's Shula's birthday today but she's been MIA for a while now. I PMed her this weekend and no answer. If she shows up....tell her Happy Birthday.
