I just looked at her profile and it said that she was on today, so Sandy come out of hiding!!!;) :grouphug: Seriously, we miss you, so stop lurking, and come post. Funny coming from the girl who took the whole summer off from the DIS. ;) :rotfl: :lmao:

My new thing is running. I am doing the Couch to 5K running plan. I started week six today. I hope to run most of the 5K in Animal Kingdom in Jan. It is really helping with the weight loss too.:thumbsup2 It is coming off much faster than when I just walked.

I am very interested in that too. I'll have to go check out the website. DH is giving the baby her bottle so I have some more free time.:woohoo:

I too one day want to run in a 5 K and I sure hope it's in WDW.

Mattress is getting better.

I met with 2 contractors today. I hope everything I want to do is within our budget. They had some great ideas. The stinky thing is a new roof surprised us this year and that took from our kitchen allowance.

Well I have a lot to get accomplished by morning. My budget for church is due inthe morning and I have put it off long enough. I have a copy of last years in front of me, but it is no help. I want to make several changes and in order to do that I need lots of $$$$. So I also have all my catelougs out getting prices. What fun!!! Joshua is better, but about 1.5 Katie became ill. It seems to be a <12 hr. bug and takes about 18 hours to come done with. Hopefully Rebekah will not get it.

Forgot to mention that I saw Stacey on Friday and she seems busier than ever. She says hello.

Well if I am going to get that budget done I better get started.

I was doing this plan and then I realized I was expecting and stopped. It is a great program. I hope that your renovation goes quicker and cheaper than ours did. When we built our home 2 years ago we did not go over one bit--very lucky, but with our add on we went over by almost 12,000 :scared1: Needless to say we weren't happy.

I can't wait for DH to be home more and can feed Rebekah---it is just so sweet to see daddies feeding little ones. Of course I would have to pump for him to do that. I guess more than anything I am ready for him to be able to actually bond with her. He has hardly been home since she was born.

I am so NOT a runner! I actually used the "N" word when I referred to running. (that is NEVER;) ) This plan has made it so easy to work up to. I feel that I could run Saturday, but I know DD isn't up to it yet. It is very easy to follow, and it has stretches that you can do afterwards as well. There is another thread on the WISH boards that refers to the C25K, and they were very helpful to me, and still are. ;)

Glad the mattress is getting less stinky. :snooty: Great ideas= $$$$ Hope they fit into your budget.

I really hope your kids are better and the baby avoids this. I remember when the boys and Malorie all took turns with that. But at least Mal was almost 2yrs.

Glad to hear about Stacey. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Peeps,

I was thinking about my Grad School Graduation Vacation for next year. We narrowed it down to a cruise. But when looking at the cruise lines we like, nothing really jumped out at us. But it is still an option. I mentioned a disney cruise and my mom wasn't too crazy about going on it, just adults and no kids. That surprised me since she goes to disney world without kids. Plus it was double what another cruise of the same length would cost. Actually a little more than double. I personally think it would be a blast to do a Florida road trip. There is so much of my state I haven't seen. It'd be fun to see the small towns and some touristy things. Mom doesn't seem thrilled by the idea. I'm thinking its because it involves constant driving and she hates to drive. Then I thought of Disney world. For 4 or 5 nts since we have only been taking quick weekend trips. Just enjoying the little stuff, eating at nicer restaurants. Not being so commando, but more vacation-y. But my mom has pointed out that we go there all the time and its not that "special" of a trip for us. I see her point but I do love it there. Anyway, what a great dilemma to have. It helps to think about it when I'm feeling stressed and hating school/work (even though nothing is planned at all).

Then again, it is technically "my vacation" (whoa does that sound bratty or what  ) but of course I want her to be excited about it too.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Good evening peeps. Did any of you hear a strange sound coming from the west of you? Something like a thump, thump, thump, thump....

Well that was me FALLING OFF THE WAGON AND GETTING RUN OVER BY IT in Los Angeles. Now I know why I cannot cheat on a diet. Absolutely no self control. Thank goodness it was only for one meal but I pulled out all the stops. I should have chosen between the two Cosmopolitans or the Tiramisu but nope, I did both (not together--that would taste so gross). I couldn't sleep at all last night because I was so stuffed and miserable and the feeling has not went away today so I haven't eaten much. I'm staying away from the scale for a few days because I'm afraid it will make me cry.

We had a great time visiting DS31/wife. It's sad to say but we enjoy their company so much more than the two younger sons (DS28 and DS26). We love them the same but the oldest son, although not that much older, is just so much more mature. Being around them just relaxes me so I feel pretty refreshed (except for the bloated stomach).

We returned home a bit anxious as DS26 and his girlfriend were in charge of watching my 2 babies and DS26 is not known for being responsible. The dogs did survive but were so glad to see me. My little boy, Andy, has an icky eye so I'll be calling tomorrow to the opthamologist to get him in again. I researched the heck out of dogs before selecting this breed and one of the reasons I chose them was that they are not known to have many medical problems. Well, Andy has chronic eye problems. I didn't even know they had canine opthamologists until I got Andy. So much for a low maintenance pet.

Kat I hope you enjoy your new car. It's a gorgeous model. I'm very partial to convertibles. I have a company car but I get to choose what I get. My last two have been soft tops and I just don't see me without one anymore. One year I went almost 9 months without ever putting the top up.

My new something is going to be crunches. I just hate doing them. Maybe this will motivate me.

Faith

Have you looked into any of the Adventures by Disney trips? That's what we are going on next year--to London and Paris--and we added days onto the front and back so that we can do things on our own. We also selected dates that are for an adults-only tour although it does sound like the regular ones do not have tons of kids anyway. From what I've read on the boards, these trips are pretty much handled from start to finish by Disney so that they are stress free--your mom might enjoy that.

GOOD MORNING & HAPPY MONDAY!!! :sunny:

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK!

Good Morning Peeps! :)

Just wanted to say hi! We went to a concert last night, so I had arranged to come into work late today, and I just got here. The bands were Cute is What We Aim For, Plain White T's, Gym Class Heroes, and Fall Out Boy. DH and I were mostly going to see Fall Out Boy, but they ALL put on a great show, and I think we'll be shopping on iTunes for some of the other music. We went with another couple who had seen Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes before, and we took DH's little sis and her boyfriend (for her b-day gift since we didn't get to take her to Cedar Point this year). It was a blast! I have pictures, but they are still in the camera. I will probably post them over on my trip report and/or here later. I took video with my new little point and shoot too, for the first time. Can't wait to see how it turns out on the computer. We had pretty good seats so I think it might be decent.

Yesterday was also cheat day, and I'm hoping I didn't do TOO much damage. I did stand and dance (sort of:laughing: ) for most of the Fall Out Boy portion of the show, so maybe that'll help. :rotfl:

Well, have a great Monday Peeps! I'll check in later.

i posted a little mini TR of my weekend and the wedding. here's the link to that post if you're interested in the pics - they're really pretty (just so you don't have to sort through my pre-trippie!):

There's got to be a cruise out there you can agree on. I heard about repositioning cruises. They are cheaper if you don't mind just a few stops and more days at sea.

My new something is going to be crunches. I just hate doing them. Maybe this will motivate me.

Faith

Faith I will think of you and your crunches while I am walking tonight.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK!

It sleeps pretty good. Tim and I both said we find we are not rolling over that much to get more comfortable. We actually feel like we are sleeping more. It's a Valor. If anyone is interested in what brand he bought.

I have another contractor coming out tonight. I found a service that's free you sign up for. They do all the leg work in finding you a 4 contractors. The contractors call you and all their credentials are emailed to you so you don't have to do any of that stuff. I found it through MY POINTS. Do any of you use MY POINTS?

Ok, have a great day. I'm assuming the rest of you are busy writing your Trip Reports for us.

AGAIN-I MISS SANDY. I HOPE THINGS ARE OK. NOW I'M GETTING WORRIED. I'M PRAYING FOR YOU.

Faith, I got run over by the wagon this weekend too. I know what you mean, I am the WORST for not just going off but jumping off with both feet.

Thanks, I had a convertible before trading in for the SUV but this one is much, much nicer.

I'm wearing size 16 pants.

I feel like at any second the fashion police are going to jump out and say "You faker! You're a 28! You're not a 16! Get those clothes off!"

OWN your new size and NEVER be an 18 ever EVER again!!!! You'll be a 14 before you know it! And a single digit size SOON!
