DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

We are now reconsidering going to Disney this summer. WE might go to the mountains instead or we just may go to the beach and that be it. My family is considering going to Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving next year--so we might need to save for that and do a quick trip to teh beach this summer. If we do Gatlinburg we would rent a huge chalet since there are like 20 of us total. Also if we go we would want to do all the holiday stuff that is offered there and I am sure all that will be costly. I just may be renting out all my points this year instead.

:faint:

Reason #82 why it is so much easier to be a guy! My wife is happy if I shave more than twice a week, because I just don't like to take the time in the morning to do it. I couldn't imagine going through this makeup routine every day! And with all of this talk of "pieces of color", I can't help but be reminded of Office Space and their "15 pieces of flair" rule!

All right, here's an updated list of our Thanksgiving goals -

Aaron (me) - Lose 7.4 lbs (It was 11 before my 3.6 pound loss this week)
pigget74 - Lose 10 lbs
Gina (MA pigletfan) - Lose 5.5 lbs
Nikki (Tink-ing) - Lose 5%, or 9.86 lbs
Wendy (UtahMama) - Lose 5 lbs, and only eat one piece of Halloween candy each day, if any.
Lisa (zigzagzerr) - Lose 5 lbs
Pakey - Lose 5 lbs
Kat (HockeyKat) - Lose 4.8 lbs to reach pre-WDW weight
pamrob - Lose 8 lbs
SingingMUA - Lose 5 lbs
Harley - Lose 8 lbs
dwheatl - Lose 4 lbs to get back to May weight

Good luck to all! And have a great rest of the weekend!

Please add me to this list. If I lose 6 more pounds I will be at my WW goal weight. I think I can do that by Thanksgiving. If I do, I will come up with another goal. :thumbsup2

 i love that movie! my favorite scene is where they're destroying the fax machine or copier or whatever it is and there's gangster rap playing in the background.....so funny!

by the way, i love your new siggie picture!
I love the part where Peter describes his day to "The Bobs" because that was exactly my life at my old job, complete with coming in a back door entrance so no one would see me starting 15 minutes late. I could have given the exact same description, word for word. Well, except for TPS reports. We didn't have them.

I don't photograph very well, so when I find one that I look good in, I show it to the world. But that is actually the 2nd time we had that picture taken that day. We were there earlier in the day and hit all of the Photopass people we could find. But when I saw the pictures that afternoon, I noticed that the shirt I was wearing (which was white and thinner) was not at all flattering. So after going back to our room to change, I made my wife re-pose for what seemed like 25 different Photopass CM's because I just had to have Magic Kingdom pictures that I could show people and not be embarssed about.

Please add me to this list. If I lose 6 more pounds I will be at my WW goal weight. I think I can do that by Thanksgiving. If I do, I will come up with another goal. :thumbsup2
Can do! I was planning on making a personal goal to reach by my birthday (Feb 11), so I'll probably throw out the same challenge to everyone after Thanksgiving. I figure it'll be another two months and a few weeks between, and the extra week or two will help compensate for overeating during Thanksgiving and all of the Christmas celebrations that everyone goes to.

Here is our updated list! Anybody else?

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE! :sunny:

Rise and shine and give God the glory, glory! (Anybody else know that song from Sunday School?)

KAT
....Love the hair! It looks great on you but still long enough for a ponytail. Perrrrfect! I'm gonna get mine cut too! Now that the humidity has subsided here...I may be safe to go a little shorter.

HEATHER
...I love, love, love your beautiful tan beach baby! She's adorable! Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg sounds good to me! I'll bring the sweet potatoes! May I have your BC points? :rolleyes1 I don't actually know how point rental works. I guess someone would have to fill me in on that. Are BC points more expensive since they're at a deluxe?

Aaron....I LOVE your siggie picture! How fun! You both look so skinny!

TIA! I'm overwhelmed by your color palette! I'm lucky to get mascara on every day. :scared:

EVERYONE ELSE.....:wave2:

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!

hey sexylexy!!! I loved that song growing up!!! thanks now i've got it in my head...guess there couldbe worse songs huh?

well i have a major hurdle to get over. i am addicted to sugar. i did really well all weekend til last night when we went to a cookout complete with hotdogs marshmallows (smores mmm- but i didnt have any) and :scared1: cookies, my faorite...and here's the crazy thing...i brought the stinkin cookies, and guess who ate them? whats wrong with me?! i stood there tryingto decide on a fruit plate and walked on by and got the cookies... ugh...oh well it was a one time night today is new, gonna go make it a good one...

have a blessed day everyone

Happy weekend to all!!!

I did my first "cheat" in 7 weeks and had a hot dog Friday night for dinner. Wow did it taste good. I still don't know if I'll do one cheat a week or not but it was certainly a nice treat on a Friday night.

Punkin--I'm waiting to hear how your Saturday night dinner was.

Aaron, I'll be up for the after Thanksgiving challenge too. We leave for WDW on 01/13 so my goal will be 10lbs from now. So if I lose my 5 Thanksgiving challenge pounds, that will leave me 5 to do after that. I love having these mini-goals as it helps me stay focused. This is the best I've ever done on a weight loss plan and it's great to have all of you peeps.

My Saturday sleep-in was ruined by Disney crocs. Before I got cancer, I worked every Saturday. Now, I sleep in on Saturdays. My husband gets up early and goes to the country club for breakfast and then golfs. I stay in bed until 9:00 am which is almost as good as going to a spa. Normally, my dogs will stay in bed as long as I do. Yesterday, they started growling. They wouldn't stop. They were staring off the side of the bed towards the sitting area, not out the doors or windows. I freaked out and thought perhaps they had seen a mouse or something. Our house was built 4 years ago and we have a pest service so I've never seen a bug or rodent. But there is always a first time so I got up and started looking under the chairs, the armoire, everything in that area where they were staring and growling. I couldn't find anything. So I took the dogs off the bed and put them on the floor and they started growling harder but now I could tell what had them scared. It was my new red Disney crocs laying on the floor by a chair.

So does this mean that they are really stupid or that they have great fashion sense?:rotfl2:

the dinner was EXCELLENT! i just had some leftovers for lunch....only a small portion though! actually, i didn't get to eat as much as i wanted last night because ray made his famous spinach dip with hawaiian sweet bread for an appetizer and we ALL filled up on that. bad idea! but it was all SO GOOD!!! after dinner we watched "blades of glory." i've already seen it, but i love will ferrell and could laugh at him all day long. except i hate it when he takes his shirt off! :scared:

that is SO FUNNY about your crocs and your dogs! my puppies do the same thing sometimes. ray has a darth vader bust up in his "man room" (our bonus room) and one day when eli was a puppy he noticed it and started growling at it! right now i have a pumpkin and a little witch sitting on our front porch and they both bark and growl at that stuff every now and then.....so funny! i wonder what goes through their mind?

Bear with me..a whole lotta' quotin' going on!
All right, at the end of the day we've got the following Thanksgiving goals.....

And as an aside, isn't it funny that the guy from Wisconsin doesn't share your love of cheese?
Thanks again for organizing our goals !
Well if you don't want the cheese, you can send it to me! I have a friend that lives in Wisconsin..and at least SHE appreciates the cheese ..:lmao: just kidding!

chips.jpg

They are yummy! And come in 3 "salty" flavors and 3 sweet ones.
I've been curious about those actually..perhaps i will try them out then...

I will break down this 16 colors thing, so you can have an idea of why MAC Artists always look sooooo "done"... :rolleyes1
And WHAM!... you have made it to about 16 pieces of color by the time you do all of this... :rotfl2:
Holy colorwheel batman..i think i would end up looking like Boy George if I did all that! If done right i am sure it looks good though, on the days i wake up early enough to put on makeup, i basically just go with a little concealer, pressed powder, 3 colors on my eyelids, eyeliner and mascara...if i am actually going out i might " gussy it up " a bit more, but i don't think i ever come close to 16 colors!

 i love that movie! my favorite scene is where they're destroying the fax machine or copier or whatever it is and there's gangster rap playing in the background.....so funny!

Yah, what dawn said! ;)

Hey all! Sign me up for the Thanksgiving day challenge to.....I'm going to be really ambitious and say 8 pounds. That gives me 5 1/2 weeks to lose it. I am so glad to be a part of this, yall are such a positive group of people! :goodvibes Thank you for the mini-goal, which will be a great motivator not to go overboard and stuff myself on Thanksgiving. popcorn:: PAKEY : Your dogs sound so funny. It's amazing what they notice! We haven't had an "inside" animal in a long time, but yesterday we went to the flea market and one of the vendors was giving away 4 full blooded siamese kittens. No papers or shots, she said she didn't have the money to do whatever needs to be done, so she was giving them away. We have 7 (or 8, sometimes 9, depending on strays) outside cats, but she made us promise to keep this one inside. I am so glad we got this cat! He is so funny already! It is amazing how quickly animals show thier personalities and make themselves members of your family. This one is definitely a talker. My kids were very excited (and surprised) to see thier new friend. :yay: HOCKEYCAT : Love the haircut! I think it frames your face very nicely! It's always nice to try something different and have it turn out well! SINGINGMUA: I don't really wear alot of makeup. My husband and I own our own business, so my office is very casual, because it's only me! Also here in Florida if your outside for any length of time in the summer (which is almost year round!) it will either cake up or sweat off. But I do put makeup on for church, or on the days when I feel like I'm looking old. (I'm only 35, but I seem to be having more of those days!) :rolleyes1 I would really love an update on makeup. We have "mac" in our mall, I always think they look pretty cool. I'll have to look closer next time, now that I know they are wearing 16 colors! :cool2:

GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

Are we still on this same page? Everyone else must've had the same beautiful weather as us yesterday! Good to get out and enjoy it!

Pakey....don't worry about the hot dog! But. Morningstar make GREAT corn dogs if you'd like a 'dog now then.

WAY TO GO, AARON on organizing the challenge!!! :thumbsup2

EVERYBODY HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!
:flower3:

Alicia/aka AKSunshine - they were at Pop, glow party - were in a horrific car accident - and her precious young son lost his life... just post something to Alicia -

That is so sad!! I could not imagine going through that,

Christi update---She may get her feeding tube out today. She can't move her left leg at at all. On lots of pain medicine so she is sleeping a lot.

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!
TIA! I'm overwhelmed by your color palette! I'm lucky to get mascara on every day. :scared:

I'm with you Melinda - If I have no where to go I don't even worry about the mascara! If I happen to get full makeup on, my kids automatically ask me where I am going??

Gotta get myself off this computer and get the day started . .. :surfweb:

Good Morning! :goodvibes

It was a crazy weekend for me, so I never got here! DD & her husband came home this weekend for a visit. It was good to see them, since the last time we saw them was the wedding.:bride: We were then busy all weekend, shopping, dining at my other DD's and then apple picking yesterday! For apple picking, DS brought home 6 college friends and we ended up having 4 car loads that went. It was soooo much fun! DGS was too cute running around the orchard and eating a very large apple! (OK, after he dropped one, he'd get another, so it was really about 6!) :rotfl: Fun was had by all!
We then came back to my house for homemade chili, both vegetarian and regular. I had 12 around my kitchen table and DH & I ate at the counter since there was no room for us at the table. It was loud, full of laughter and one of the best days I'd had in a long time!

Aaron...Count me in on the Thanksgiving challenge. You can put me down for 5lbs by Thanksgiving. (I'll be at WDW the week before Thanksgiving, so this should be interesting!;) )

Melinda...I love your new siggie pic! You are adorable! :cutie: And yes, I not only remember the song, but use to sing it to my kids in the morning to wake them up!

Pigget...Rebekah is precious! Glad she no longer needs to be a glo-worm!

Kat...Nice haircut! Like everyone else said, it really frames your face well.

Off to work some more.

Hi everybody!

KAT - you look fantastic! Love your new 'do!

Rebekah is such a sweetie! That is some amazing technology...it's wonderful that you could do that treatment at home, instead of having her in the hospital for days.

Okay, I'm playing catch-up a bit, but here are my three "naughty" foods:
1. Ice-cold fountain Pepsi (not the same from the can or bottle)
2. Chocolate-covered pretzels
3. French fries

In spite of my love for these foods, I am STILL going to make a Thanksgiving goal (awesome idea, by the way). Here it is:

By Thanksgiving I will be out of the 180s forever and ever, amen. Right now I'm around 185 but that won't last long. Also, my exercise goal for that time frame will be to work out 5 out of 7 days.

We can do it! Makes me think of an incredibly corny song featuring the following lyrics - "Pulling together we can work it out!"

See, the competitive spirit in me (I'm the kind of guy that probably won't let my future-kids win at tidily-winks because I don't like to lose) likes this sort of challenge because I know all of you are going to succeed, and I'll be darned if I see all of you reach your goals and don't reach one myself. So in a purely selfish way, I'm suckering all of you into helping me! (Of course, I'll still be 100% supportive of all of you, because it also won't feel right reaching my goal and not seeing everyone else reach theirs. My psyche can be very complicated at times.)

Here's the latest list!

Aaron (me) - Lose 7.4 lbs to reach 175
pigget74 - Lose 10 lbs

Hi gang! I just posted my OHANA wish meet chapter on my TR (page 15). Now, here's some things to keep in mind:

I did NOT know that the short haired gal was EVENTER! I didn't know!!! I thought she was Punkie's friend! I feel SO badly! I really didn't talk to her much so I realllllllly screwed up! Eventer, I am SO sorry!!!! Please forgive me!

I didn't take ANY notes other than: Cake

This chapter is reeeeeeally lacking, I think, but I was having too much fun to jot down details....so:

If you were there PLEASE contribute. Like a He said/ She said chapter. Or in this case, she said, she said, and she said.

Oh! I wasn't there for that one, so I HAVE to check it out! Thanks for letting us know Wendy. :)

I also forgot to mention over here that I updated my trippie yesterday, not once, but twice (It's our day of arrival, and our meet with Melinda.). So, if there's any Peeps interested, check it out! That's right. I have no shame! I am begging for TR readers. (I am up against Wendy! HellO!)
