I'm the first to post my weight today! I'm a LOSER!!! I'm down 0.8 lb from my lowest recorded weight this summer. Finally after gaining back about 6 lbs and then having to lose it all over again.

It's the weekend of our Ren Faire, so I'm not going to be around until Monday. I'll be hanging with pirate: and princess: and working myself into exhaustion.

Down -.8! is this number a trend today ??? :lmao: Hey, I will take it..3 weeks for me losing something ANYTHING is a big deal, and i saw a number this morning i haven't seen in at least a year and a half...i feel good..and motivated! BUT i must confess my first weigh in this morning had me a samer..then i did what i had to "do" and voila..a loser. This is really the only thing i like being a loser in. ;)

Shannon...Good luck with the internship placement! How frustrating!

Congrats to all you losers. Since I'm starting in new again, I'm making this the day I way in to get a starting point for next week. I'll make my total loss run from last November tho. Anyway to quickly get off the 10 lbs I regained over the summer. (No amputation is not an option!:scared: )

i'm -1 pound today. :woohoo: 2 more pounds, peeps!!!

i'm going to the mall this afternoon to find something to wear to anna's wedding. it's a beach wedding in october. i want beachy, but since it's october i don't want TOO beachy! have i shown you guys the condo we're sharing with another couple for only $102 a night? it's across the street from the beach and has a pool and hot tub! :banana: check it out..... http://www.vrbo.com/137451

Uh OhhhH! Tomorrow is Weigh Day :scared: Time to face the music. To pay the Piper.

I do not want to see the numbers! I need the magic scale that tells me what I want to hear...who had that cool scale??? Lynda?

On the "free" dining, I always swear I'm never going to eat ever EVER again... :sad2:

Although, I didn't do more than "taste" my desserts and only ate one dole whip and one half of a funnel cake. Mmmmm, funnel cakes are soooo delicious all deep fried and greezy on a hot- humid day...:sick:


:rotfl2: Well I enjoyed every bite - and it was mighty hard not to go for 2nds at those Buffets - (Side note - the Crystal Palace Buffet had a flan and a Key Lime pie that tasted like YUMMMMY "boiled-in-the-can" Sweetened condensed milk from my past - dont try this anymore - the can sometimes explodes - but if it works - its pure caramel delight!)

So I get home and I'm 1# heavier than when I started on this "journey"... gee there's a surprise, where would I be if I did have 2nds? So I've hugged my fat tummy every time I want to eat - and I think... and I made healthier choices. I've slept many many hours... so tired... and my waterbed is so comfy... why fall asleep on a chair?


Today I get on the scale DOWN 6#s:cool1:

and yes 5 of those pounds are water weight!! :woohoo: It feels so good to see my toesies again! To be able to fit in my running shoes!! Its been almost 2 weeks of bloated sick looking sausage toes!!

Now, please let me accept, and work hard towards 1# a week- my alli anyone?

What a wonderful feeling that must be...i can't wait to be there myself..ahhh goal..sounds like a far away land ;) But i do have to thank you again for your pointers in particular..i have been doing the 1500 ( ok i go to 1575 sometimes!) a day and working out 3-5 times a week and that seems to be a good thing for me..so thanks for being so inspirational :)

awwwwwww.......you're so sweet! you're definitely welcome! i honestly think the biggest thing that helped me was the water. i've always drank water while i'm working to keep my whistle wet (since i'm constantly talking into my mask), but when i'd sit down to eat i'd always have diet coke or sweet tea. i cut those out completely and now i drink only water and allow myself a cup of coffee in the morning. i think that helped more than anything!

anyway, the 2 more pounds will bring me to 130 - i started at 158. i'm 5'3" so 130 is a healthy weight for me. then i just want to firm what i have....this jiggly stuff is not happening! :laughing:
 
Hey Peeps...I need a little pixie dust if you can spare it.

I still do not know where I will be doing my 2nd internship starting in January 08. Most of my classmates have known for awhile now, but I think there are a couple unlucky ones like myself that are still homeless so to speak. The woman who places us is totally incompetent and needs to retire. She loses things and forgets about people and we (the students) are the ones that suffer. I have emailed her twice (once was an email I sent to her co-worker where I mentioned my lack of an internship site and she forwarded it on) and called twice in the past 2-3 weeks. And I just sent her another email tonight. I have heard nothing back from her. It is October and I need to know where my placement is...heck, my placement should know if they are getting an intern in a few months (and who that intern is). So please, I know she is sometimes in her office on Fridays, please send pixie dust that she replies to me and gives me some good news.

I was swollen too, but I didn't lose 6 pounds like you did :mad:
I only gained 2 pounds!!!!
Oooops, +2pounds

Which I'm actually thrilled because last year I was up 15 pounds in 10 days :sad2: (If that is even possible!!!!)

So! I'm down a total of ONE pound since the start of this thread :yay: Which I find SOOOOO funny and ironic. :upsidedow

I actually gained 4 and then AF came this week....not good. I'm having trouble getting back into my healthy eating and exercising habits. :sad2:

DAWN! I love that condo! Is FL closer than SC for you? There are some great rentals near Charleston. And I am having so much fun with the VRBO web site! I wish I had lots of money to vacation more often! I LOVE to plan vacations! Maybe I should be a travel agent?!

OK folks, I am now going to attempt... running... wogging... I did 1 hour of walking yesterday - 30 min Wednesday... I have only 90 days of work outs left! :faint:

Lets get our water down... (adding lemon, fresh lemon, helped get rid of the water weight I think)
and do those CRUNCHES!! :cool1:

You crack me up UtahMama. I have nooo clue where I am in relation to when this thread started. No doubt I could comb the first few pages for clues and figure it out.

But actually I wanted to encourage you ALL: even if you are only down a few lbs LONG TERM (it has been almost a year now, right? I seem to remember starting Halloweenish) that IS sucesss!:cheer2:


You count the lbs you lose PLUS the lbs you didn't gain!

(I learned that trick from my Grandma!)
 
I'm down 1 pound again. A little at a time which is kind of discouraging because I never ever cheat. Way to go Sandy!!!! Sorry to post in so late but I'm on the west coast and I'm not exactly an early riser.

Sooo glad Aunt Flo packed her bags and left me a few years ago (Thanks Dr. H!!!)but she left her coin purse and makeup bag (ovaries ;) ) so I still get raging PMS....:yay:

I like the Papa Murphy's Thin Delight Pizzas with the thin crust. LOVE the veggie with white sauce (ask for less) or the Garlic Chicken. I think I'm having pizza tonight...

I actually LIKE crunches on the balance ball. BUT, I need help for my side haunches. Leg lifts? Lipo? My "plan" is to get to a goal weight and tone as much as possible THEN get lipo on my outer thighs. :rolleyes:

Has anyone ever done a seaweed wrap? They 're great for temporary help of water retention/ toxins. At least the people I've talked to about them swear they are wonderful :confused3 That's the career I want...esthetics. Either at a spa or Dr. office. Facials :love: Cosmetics :snooty: Botox :cutie: But I won't go back to school till Norah is in school full time (1st grade).


Anyways, I feel skinnier already after my super healthy breakfast and water (Propel).

My TOTAL wt. loss is 93...so I'm VERY happy relatively speaking.

How's that baby????? Any names yet? Getting close!!!

I think you had lost about 15 pounds before you got pregnant...not sure though. I definitely recommend the "nursing diet" after he/she is born...works fabulously! That and the "Lack of sleep/What day is it?" diet...ya baby! ;)
