I miss fireman................:sad2: I find his commitment to community serivce awe inspiring!!! I always find myself saying aaawwwwww when I see that kind and hlpeful and supportive guy oh well!!!Help I fear I may seek comfort in a green goblin:thumbsup2

I'm currently doing a Master's of Education in Adult Learning and Development. I'm lucky because I work at a state college, which means the pay isn't so great, so we can do our master's for free which is a nice perk. Basically it will help me to further my current career in higher education administration.

 Now on to the fun part . . . I've heard Celebrity is awesome!! My DH's cousin and her DH don't have kids and travel everywhere (they're going to WDW next month :guilty: so jealous) and they love to cruise especially with Celebrity!! We cruised with Princess for our honeymoon, but Grand Cayman was far and away our favorite stop . . . it's so beautiful!! Our excursion was a snorkel and sting ray swim which was so cool, we even bought a DVD of it!! Although my favorite part was the thermal suite at our ship's spa, which I think the Century calls the Persian Garden, they have heated stone loungers, with aromatherapy steam rooms and saunas. You had to buy a pass for the week but it was soooo nice to go there and relax everyday before dinner. Feel free to ask me any questions about cruising, I love to plan vacations and have probably done a little bit too much research!!

I may definitely take you up on that! I definitely want to do a spa treatment but just a facial or something simple and you can't seem to book them online so I"m unsure what to do.

Ok sadly I am the unoffical queen I guess of Colon Blow I ahve not recieved my TIarra but.....thats ok!

Colon Blow- a morning cereal such as Raisin Bran or Fiber One. It keeps everything moving along nicely!!! A bowl of clon blow in the morning helps me stay healthy!!!!

I was really wondering the same thing - thinking it was some miracle food that made you lose weight quicker LOL. Well we do have some raisin bran so maybe I'll give it a whirl some morning.

Thank you for asking... Well, Paypal is voted one of the best companies to work in, in Omaha... Great benefits anyway.. let me explain how the interview felt...

You know the cute guy in school that knows everyone wants to go out with him... and he becomes a little arrogant... well that is how it felt..

So, we will see.. This was just the 1st step.. I had a typing test and 2 interviews today. If I dont get a rejection email in the 24-72 hrs then I move on to have a background check, then a urine test.. then they decide if they want you.. the whole process could take up to a month...

So, I am still waiting to hear back from the company I interviewed with on Monday for 3.5 hrs.

Thank you for caring... I appreciate it!!

Good luck! Crossing my fingers for you!

Type in the words you want to BE the link (ie. Disappearing Peep Ditches Diet on DDP), highlight the words, click on the little planet earth/chain link on the tool bar and paste your URL address into the pop up box.

I'm so glad someone asked this as I was just wondering the other day. Thanks for explaining!

Also, thanks for all the pixie dust for my speech client this afternoon. It definitely didn't go badly. My supervisor gave me decent feedback but I will probably hear more tomorrow at our weekly meeting. The client himself is unusual in that his speech disorder is actually a behavioral voice disorder. He is very intelligent but his voice is lacking in that he sounds very loud and intimidating and monotone. Sounds easy but in all the voice courses I have taken, I have no real idea how to "fix it". But I guess my ideas were ok because he showed marked improvement just by the end of the session. It's the carry-over into the real world that I'm concerned about. Anyway, thanks for the pixie dust! It is such a load off to have that done with for the week and now I know what to expect next time!

And about the signature guidelines, I admit to never looking at them but I think I may be in violation. Will a moderator tell me or take something off or do I have to do it? I guess I can take my Disney countdown off since I leave in 2 days anyway - then I should be legal.

Hope everyone had a skinny day!
*Shannon

I am so technically challenged, but I cut and paste real well!! I think from reading WebmasterAlex's replies we can post links to other sites, BUT not get around banned links, for instance IF tour guide mike was a banned link and you post just go to tourguidemike dot com... thus getting around the automatic ******** that could ban a poster... I think..

Type in the words you want to BE the link (ie. Disappearing Peep Ditches Diet on DDP), highlight the words, click on the little planet earth/chain link on the tool bar and paste your URL address into the pop up box.
I so have to figure this part out!! THANK YOU
HELP! Can someone please explain how to post a link? Like I know I can cut and insert the link, but how do you have just the title that you click on and then when people click on the title it goes to the link! My head hurts from trying to figure it out!
THANKS for asking!!
Ok, I am confused. What happens if you do these things? Do you get a warning from the moderator? S.Poppins and I got one because of our WPASADI logo was deemed inappropriate, but just about everyone in the competition had the same one. Is it if you violate that rule for that many days, you get in trouble. Also where did you find that?

Its on the front page of WISH etc... also it just started today - so for instance if you were banned, but came back and posted from another server with a different Dis name, you are "grandfathered" but if you do it now, you're in trouble mister... So violations that happened prenaughty mat arent going to count... also I read some link where WebmasterAlex was answering posters questions... like sarcasm, who decides? Is it like an umpire in baseball where the strike zone changes depending on the umpire, is the points given differently depending on which moderator is on duty?? :confused3
glad I'm not a moderator!!

Glad things went well with DD. My DH and I have talked about this, and when did it become our responsibility to be our kids playmate? They need to play with other children. I never remember "playing" with my mom and dad. :sad2:
At least I'm not going crazy!! THanks for the support!! Alls pleasant today, got to her "heart" made a chart, if she breaks something in anger its gonna cost her $10, if any of us violate these it will cost us... I included profanity is $5 because she called me the "B" word, but I realized I had used the "d" word in trying to get her to do her chores... bad momma I know.. the boys arent gonna like this new rule!! :rotfl2: I did point out how respectful they are they may let out an "F" bomb... once... and then get red with embarrassment and apologize... theyre good kids!!! :) I'm truly blessed!!
Thanks for the siggy rules. I think I may be in violation. Now I have to figure which logo I will have to give up. :confused3
I agree, I'm missing Beas family pic too - and I"ll put something in a siggy, as soon as I figure it out - and I thought spongemom's family was ok.. until I realized Sponge isnt disney :sad2:
YAY!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: Way to go, Bee!!!
Kids are so cute....always thinking of others.

Congrats Bee on the job prospect, and the TWO TRIPS TO DISNEY!!
ANYBODY SEEN THREADMAMA???

WEN-DDDEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Me too, me too...
Hello all
i am trying to fix my signature so that it is plain and boring again:goodvibes :goodvibes . wow i did not know about the rules.... oh well what can you do..
and just wanted to let you all know Utahmama is having computer problems and so she will be back when the promblem is all solved she is just busy cleaning her house and watching kids and spending time with the familia.. i am sad i had to get rid of my spongefamily .
Oh look I did quote spongemommy - it must be bad, someone's cleaning instead of dissing!!
I wont believe it till it happens.. I am not getting all excited yet..

However the I told the lady that I interviewed with Monday.. She said it shouldnt be a problem..:cheer2:

oh look I quoted you too Bee!!

I've been on far too long!!! Sorry bout that!!

Shannon - be careful about the CB - remember when prunes had that "reputation" it was so bad you know cant find prunes, you can find "dried plums" :rotfl2:

well certain foods affect some more than others, raisins, coleslaw, broccoli??? and fiber... however, fiber plugs me up... need to get the grease out!!

:dance3:

I'm about a week behind so I might be commenting on some golden oldies here......

DH and I went to the movies Fri afternoon and saw A Night at the Museum. Good movie! I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun movie for the family. It was rated PG, no swearing, no sexual inuendos...nothing! It is definitely one we'll buy when it comes out on DVD.

We got to go as a free sneak peek and LOVED it too. I was really upset that it got poor reviews. We second the idea of buying it whan it comes out on DVD.

Oh, and my wonderful mechanic person fixed my car (again) and didn't charge me anymore!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I read some about the continuing problems but isn't it nice when they do something for nothing?? It's already so expensive to get our cars fixed and when you have multiple things going on at once you want to scream... Take the :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc discount when ever you can get it. :rotfl:

Don't laugh...I totally believe in karma (what goes around...comes around etc). Yesterday, I read on another tread about a women in the UK looking for LGMH's. I PM'ed her and mailed 20 off to her this morning, an hour later my neigbhor came by with 4 free movie tickets for Charlottes Web !!! How cool is that !

WAY COOL!!! Good things come to those who least expect them.

I have the answer !!!!

I found out if I was 8'5" tall I could weigh 364 lbs. :cool1:

No more weight loss for me I am on my way to be stretched.....:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

OMG he is not kidding! He just called Willie Wonka's oompa loompa's to take him to the stretching room. The last time they had to use it was when Mike TV :happytv: shrunk himself. I have been told he should make it out ok!!:rotfl2:

You to totally crack me up! I love reading your posts.

Mousehouselover, did call me Friday night while we were driving. She sounds very sweet and funny. I probably sounded out of it - I was really tired, but I did stay up all night with DH.

Highlights - We were in Family Day parade, tambourine section. Free chocolate dream (we got 2 dreams within 15 minutes!), DS in pirate show with Capt. Jack, and Everest.

My family is almost use to me taking pics of all their food! Very embarrasing for them. I have a small blatter which frustrates my DD to no end (she is half camel), so on my 20 trip to the bathroom at MK - my DD is complaining. I told her that I was also trying to take pics of all the bathrooms. :rotfl2: She was not amused! I have some great stories. You will have to wait for the trip report though! I am going to try and post a few pics for you guys in just a sec.

First: Thank you for such kind words! You sounded a bit tired but after a full day and trying to drive all night, I'd sound tired too. I'm also a member of the itty bitty bladder club..... drives DH crazy. BTW, did you see the tiles in the bathrooms in AK at CS? I want those. For anyone who hasn't been there they are mosaics of animals in 4 inch ceramic tiles.

Inside of HM seemed darker to me. Curious as to what other dissers think.

I thought so too. It's been a long time since we were at WDW so I thought it was just me.

Just remember the worst day at WDW is still better than the best day at home.:rotfl:

And yes, I get upset also when my plans dont go according to the Itenary.. however, this too shall pass and soon you will be doing exactly what you want... I think you will still have an awesome time!:thumbsup2

I like that saying.... maybe we should adopt it as a DIS motto.

I got so upset when things weren't going right I almost had a full blown temper tantrum. I was actually tearing up and DH threatened to leave me and go explore on his own. I calmed down, we recoverd and had a wonderful day. (And had a great breakfast at WCC even if we were waaayyy late for our ADR.)

COLON BLOW!!!!

:rotfl2: Fidge, THAT's funny!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: BTW, just got some high fiber Kashi and the makings for your muffins. I have to find the muffin recipe so I can make them. (A PM would be most helpful...... if you can.)

Ok, back to reading and trying to catch up. I've been trying to be good with my food choices but the premium dining really spoiled me.

Lynda - My older dog Shadow does that too when she goes in the crate. In fact when she hears me brush my teeth in the morning, she goes and sits beside it. I'll open the crate and then I tell her OK and she runs in. Trixie is watching all of this, so hopefully she will catch on. I am about to go to church, so we will see if I get lucky again. I worry all the time about my sweet dog turning into a "demon" dog. I don't think you can get too much "Cesar". I bought the "Illusion" collar for Shadow for Christmas. Illusion is his wife, and they designed a collar that keeps the leash at the top of the neck. I'm not real pleased with it. :sad2: I may be selling it on Ebay.

Oh yes! I am familiar with the Illusion collar. The instructor at puppy class recommended the Gentle Leader for Jasper. She was a TERRIBLE puller - like she would choke herself to the point of throwing up! :scared1: The gentle leader turned her into a different dog! NO MORE PULLING! Amazing, I tell you! And she is better now on her martingdale style collar, which we are transitioning her back to for her CGC test. Because she is a beagle, we have a hard time with the collar staying up at the top of her neck too, but the gentle leader does because of the way it is made. It is great!

PLase tell me the Fireman is not a violation!!!!!!:rolleyes1

I didn't feel violated... :cool2:

I miss fireman................:sad2: I find his commitment to community serivce awe inspiring!!! I always find myself saying aaawwwwww when I see that kind and hlpeful and supportive guy oh well!!!Help I fear I may seek comfort in a green goblin:thumbsup2

did we lose fireman?? oooo nooooo :sad1: that just brings a really horrible end to a really horrible day....drumroll for the stupidest rules at the office....ready? here we go - before I start you need to know that I work for my local government in teh finance dept.

today I received a memo that music is not allowed in our offices any more...any music could be construed as a public performance if a citizen walked by and heard our music (whether it be radio, CD TV, or Inet) and hte copyright companies woudl fine us for copyright infringement. SO instead of paying to have license our county govt has banned music from county facilities. So all those who would like to take aerobics at the rec dept...ando without tunes, you wantt o ahve a wedding reception...just cant have DJ...aaggghhhh what a crock I am seriously bummed!!!!

I could understand if someone had played something inappropriate...but I have been here 11 yrs and never heard anything out of line...most people just have it on low as to knock off the silence and keep up with current events cause oh yeah - you cant use your internet at work either unless it is business related...

and I could understand if we were dealing with customer sevice calls or what not...but we dont deal withthe public! We deal with ineroffice junk...bah - I'll get off my box, I'm just really angry and feel like next they'll tell me what I can and can't eat, or drink or think for that matter....

thanks for listening to my pooh: going to check my siggies and see how illegal I am...

Grumpy, another great Poem/prayer... you are so clever.. and I am such a lucky girl!!
thanks you aren't so bad your ownself
Good morning everyone!
I have a small moment of self control to celebrate today...last night my boyfriend decided he wanted to go out to dinner..to the dreaded Chinese restaurant...(insert doom and gloom music here)..while delicious, NOT PEEP friendly!...But i was good and only got sushi ( which I love!)..even though the crab rangoons were calling my name...if you picture that, that is indeed creepy...ANYhoo...I am just happy to report that i PEEPED it up and stayed strong against the MSG machine!
you are verrrrry witty....love that and btw love rangoon also but weirded out by them talking to me

My DH got a shot and prescription for muscle relaxants. So far, it has made a *tiny* difference. He is able to get up and slowly limp to the bathroom and that is about it. The dr said just rest, use heatpacks, a hand-held massager, and the muscle relaxants. The trip is 3 days away :charac2:
In the meantime, DD4 has developed a fever. I was up every 4 hrs last night giving Tylenol and 4 hrs on the dot she was burning up again. DD6 has a cough, but not too bad. DDog is still barfing and required two baths and a carpet cleaner last night. Did I mention the trip is 3 days away?
that sounds awful i am sooo sorry
:wizard: Got to call DVC Member Services this morning to begin the reservation process for Christmas. Our plans are for DD and I to stay at Beach Club Villas in a 1 BR from 12/23 to 12/28... then go to Caribbean Beach Resort for 12/28 to 12/30... then my brother and his family and my parents will come and we'll go to Old Key West for a Grand Villa from 12/30 to 1/5. So I'm just gonna miss the big Peep Meet... maybe another time.
whats 1 more week (or two) in the most wonderful place on earth???:rolleyes1
Go to hungry-girl.com and subscribe. You'll get a newsletter almost every day with lots of diet friendly tips and recipes. It's the first thing I read in my email each morning.
is there a hungry-boy.com too? popcorn:: popcorn::
PLase tell me the Fireman is not a violation!!!!!!
Illegal use of man candy! 15 points:earboy2:
Can Grump and I come???:rolleyes1
Grumpy, you are very creative! If only I could have said it before I hit the drive thru, I ended up eating a #9 which is mcnuggets & fries. I guess now I'll have to do 50 hail Cadbury's to repent! :headache:
and 15 "our godFATHERS(pizza joint in thr midwest):thumbsup2 that little boy that took your money...did he have 666 tattooed behind his ear:scared1: just checking
YAY!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: Way to go, Bee!!!
Kids are so cute....always thinking of others.

I don't want to change my siggie... I like my siggie and my siggie likes me.:headache:

I feel nekkid when I post now...oh well good thing bout it, we will have fewer pages to read, cause our content will be condensed, I dont think any of us have been out of line in our discussions, well not much out of line, well maybe a smidge, okay maybe more...but anyway the point is...we are nice people and we talk about problems, we vent our frustrations to each other but not in a derrogatory manner to each other...thats part of what keeps me fat and not eating right and talking to you about helps me cope with the emotional side of eating...

I think we have a good thing here...

I am so proud of myself! I am marinating a couple of boneless pork chops with olive oil and ff Italian dressing, so I can grill those up and take to work. And I made a couple of chicken enchiladas to take to work too! So, my lunches for the next two days are pretty much taken care of. :)

And I was good today, even though I really wanted to eat and eat and eat!

Totals for today...

B: oatmeal & yogurt smoothie (220), Crystal Light (10)
L: SBD wraps w/Jello (220), sharp cheddar cheese square (40), & baby carrots (40)
S: 94% ff popcorn mini bag (100)
D: gardenburger w/ff swiss & ff sharp cheddar on whole wheat bun (300 - This was soooo yummy!) & black bean tortilla chips w/ peach mango salsa (165)
S: double chocolate fudge ff/sf Jello pudding cup (60) & frozen ff cool whip (75)

TOTAL: 1230 calories & about 100 oz. of water

I wont bore you with the details of my food today as they are pretty much teh same as yesterday (eating up leftovers) but I did go alittle over on WW points, but not out of my range of acceptable cals (I'm tracking both)I dont know how I did that, but maybe I messed up along the way...I feel prety good about the day and other than eating to many warm high fiber muffins whilst I caught up with you guys I ate what I had planned on eating.SO now off to bed have a class tomorrow and it promises to be very boring, so I must be prepared to not fall asleep!!!

night!!

I use the gentle leader! Or my dog does anyway. I have a standard poodle BTW. The difference when we put that thing on her is amazing! Just putting it on makes her the perfect little angel. If we are having company we will put it on her just because it makes her so much calmer. Except I hate the "does she bite b/c she is wearing a muzzle" remarks I get ALL THE TIME. I mean, seriously, her mouth is hanging wide open and you can see her teeth when she is wearing it - but they think its a muzzle (which I believe keeps your mouth completely closed?)

I'm really trying to get her certified as a therapy dog at our local humane society, but my schedule is just so crazy that I haven't found the time. Plus, I'm not quite sure how strict they are. She's good and follows basic commands but the "stay" isn't so hot. She thinks it means walk over or away from me - not stand still. We did do puppy kindergarten at our local community school, but she dropped out. Puppy kindergarten drop out LOL! Actually I hated the instructor. All she had us do was walk in circles and when she practically threw my little Phoebe (who's not all that little) to the ground when teaching her "down", I had had enough. So we went priviate LOL. She learned down in one night without being held down by her neck. The instructor was awesome. It was a small group class but a private dog trainer.

Anyway, good luck with the pup! I'm sure everything will turn out great!

Lynda... 100 OZ of water...are you part mermaid ??? I am in awe ! I struggle to drink 64...seriously...how many times a day do you have to use the "facilities" ? 100 oz is a LOT of water...AMAZING !

I lost a few quotes when I changed computers.

AlDisney~ Loved the dog story. I know it was cary but you can laugh at it now.

Dwheatl~ Your puppy story was funny too!

Eeyore~ I was :lmao: at your mixed signal story. Sorry about your loss, I hope everything went ok with all the travels.

You need to eat 22 pts a day plus use your flex. The leader in my old group always said to eat all of your points each day and use your flex points however you want.If you hit a plateau then don't use all your flex points.

Is this the 'new' points system? From what I remember, I only had 20 pts at 175 lbs... I thought the flex pts were optional as well.

I wish DS was out of diapers! He has absolutely no desire to wear "big boy" underwear. He's 2 yrs 5 mos.!:sad2: DD was 3 yrs. 9 mos. before she trained!!! I had 2 in diapers for a whole year! What an expense that was!

I was thinking of some names for you, Monica.
I came up with Zorinna & Zarriah. These are actually the names of my friend and her daughter.

I had 3 in diapers at once. There is almost 3 wrs between DD #1 and DS. I couldn't puch the potty training with so much going on so we waited. She was 3 yr 9 mos before we really made a lot of headway and she was 4+ before we were mostly thrugh training.

I love both of those names. I might have to steal one of them if we get another blessing at my house.

The smell can be bad with her though. She has horrible gas(and has up to ten BMs a day) and she is not discreet at all.She will do it in a store and look at anyone around her, usually a stanger, and say "sorry!I pooted.:goodvibes "

It's funny what kids can say and get away with. Sounds like you've got a sweet one there, Love her beautiful comment.

Rachel does not have pnemonia!!!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :thumbsup2 :cool1: pixiedust: :jumping1:

Thanks so much for the prayers and concern. She is doing sooo much better today-all sass.

YAY!!!!

What are some of your (the collective your) major diet killers?????

What can we do as a group to solve those bad habbits???

My problem is diet boredom. I get so tired of eating a lot of the same things. I did the slim fast plan a few years ago and did well on it but I got o tired of eating cold meals all the time. Right now, it's been yogurt and sandwiches. I haven't made myself any of my meals since I got home so there's nothing else in the fridge that fits in my plan. DH and I went shopping this am and got some fresh fruit and veggies. I picked up a few things but I forgot a couple of key ingredients.

Have you seen the new Hershy's fancy shmancy chocolates? They have the percent of Cacao (sp). I haven't tried them yet, so be a doll and try them for me and report back....:thumbsup2

I had some before the Skinnie Minnies..... it was very good. It was bitter and a tiny bit went a long way but oh man..... almost BTS. (better than ***)

Drinking so much water makes my hands crack...

I'm drinking a LOT of water... so I go to the restroom a lot... so I wash my hands a lot... it is colder than normal here so the water is very cold... cold water makes my hands chap and crack :guilty:

Today (after three fingers on one hand had already split), I finally figured out if I turn the water on BEFORE I "go", it has time to get warm enough not to hurt. I hate wasting so much water... but.

Man, what do all of you northerners do?

I had that happen when I was a kid. I had to use a ton of lotion and wore latex gloves to bed. I know there are lotion type products that help seal in moisture and basicly leave a water tight barrier on your hands. I hope you find something that helps. I know it hurts when your hands are so raw and bleeding.

I've been readng for hours and I'm nowhere near caught up yet..... I did drink 2 liters of water while reading though, so I'm almost caught up with my H2O for the day. It's so cold here todday. we're getting more snow and I'm sitting here with a blanket on my lap but my hand are freezing and I'm shivering. i think bed may be the best place for me.

<running in to give hugs>

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

You're right Harley, but for a "disney" site, and when you see how many "hits" the thread have, you know lots read, and dont post... and seeings how it may not be "family" friendly... ( :rolleyes1 ) It sure keeps me laughing, and that's the bestest!!! :thumbsup2 (I was always good at debate!! :rotfl2: )

also, Harley, it surprises me it took your gov't office this long to "bann" music - around here its always been that way... well, I do remember when the "ban" took into effect at local places, but... BUT... as long as they paid money to some radio type clearing house, places could once again play certain stations... and my favorite talk radio station (WGN) broadcasts the Cub games - well, they do stream internet feeds, but its blocked during Cub Games - again, that FCC copyright stuff...

I'm thinking the DJ's may be ok, as long as they pay a fee to be a DJ... :confused3 I'm sure you have lawyers that are much smarter than me tho!!

:grouphug:

and I get stress... I'm wound so tight I told my sub cooridinator I need to do :laundy: I'll call her if I can work Friday, but I so need a break!!! (and I told her how I was trying to get the 5th grade boys to "behave" by giving them a hockey analogy (sports always works) the kid who retaliates, penalty box.. but the wooo woooo.... _______ losers... roflol... I had to censor myself in a class!! the one boy says, Mrs. M what is a woo woo woo??? I just said, you know... :rotfl2: cause in football they just get a measly 5 yard penalty... :rotfl2:

Gotta find humor Peeps... sometimes its real tough!!

Stay warm MHL - -

and

:cheer2: GO BEARS!!! :cheer2:

I know, I know, this Hoosier couldnt resist!! *g

My downfall...............late night binging! After everyone is in bed and after I review my day and go right to what I should have done instead of what I did get done. I stuff it with something late at night. OK this I am working on!!

This is my problem as well. I binge once my mom has gone to bed and I watch my recorded Gilmore Girls episode from earlier that day on ABC Family. It's like my bedtime routine. :cloud9:

Drinking so much water makes my hands crack...

I'm drinking a LOT of water... so I go to the restroom a lot... so I wash my hands a lot... it is colder than normal here so the water is very cold... cold water makes my hands chap and crack :guilty:

Today (after three fingers on one hand had already split), I finally figured out if I turn the water on BEFORE I "go", it has time to get warm enough not to hurt. I hate wasting so much water... but.

First, let me recommend Surgeon's Skin Secret. It is a wax type stick, I guess like Bee's Wax but this is sooo much better. I put it on my feet before I go to bed for extra moisture after I give myself a little pedicure and I wake up with beautiful footsies! It's great on anything dried, or blisters, cuticles, the list can go on. I bought it off QVC so if you do a quick search on their site, I'm sure it would come up.

And I also have hand soap from Bath and Body Works that is part of their SPA line (those blue bottles). The soap itself has shea butter in it and it's like washing your hands in lotion. Maybe that will help with the constant hand washing. :thumbsup2

Trying out my new siggie... gonna miss my DVC pix... but right now, the WISH stuff is more important to me. I can only narrow it down so far... hope I'm "compliant".

Okay... time for some "Random Thoughts... by Dene' Carter":
1. As of this May, I will have graduated high school 25 years ago. Wow! Where did it go? :hourglass
2. I feel great! :yay:
3. Crushing on the hunky trainer is a great reason to get to the gym on a daily basis. :lovestruc
4. Changing the food you eat does not mean you have to eat bland, boring foods. Maybe watching all those hours of "Food Network" is paying off. :happytv:
5. Lifting weights is making me lose weight faster... as well as toning me up. :confused3 (Put a smile on the face, and that is me lifting weights.)
6. Food does not require massive quantities of salt.
7. I've seen more people (both old and new acquantances) at the gym since 1/1 than I've seen in the last 6 years living here but working 30 miles away and sitting in front of my tv/computer when I was home. :surfweb:
8. Tomorrow would have been my anniversary. :bride:
9. I was married 3 years; Larry died 15 years ago... that's 5 years gone for every one year married... it's time to let it go and stop blaming him for my problems (especially my weight). :charac2:

ONE MORE PIECE OF ADVICE:

Go to hungry-girl.com and subscribe. You'll get a newsletter almost every day with lots of diet friendly tips and recipes. It's the first thing I read in my email each morning.
I went and checked this out -- GREAT TIP! I'm going to mention it to my DD and my WW group in case they're not aware of it.

Eeyore, thanks for your encouragement today!

Still trying to get caught up.

P.S. I just had my 1,000 WOO HOOTY!!!

Yay me! :yay:
