Darn it! I am GOOD! People would be stupid not to hire me! I am awesome..

This is now my mantra.... I keep trying to tell myself these things... as I wait, and wait......

Lynda - I have had human babies and dog babies. Dog babies are much harder at first! They make such a mess when they are teething and potty training. Don't have that with human babies. Although their training is much shorter than humans. My Trixie went into her crate, by herself, this morning for the first time! That is a huge milestone. If you think about it, we have only had her three weeks. A human baby is still getting up during the night, and will be for a long time at that point!

How old is your Jasper? My Shadow (old dog) will be two on Valentine's and Trixie (new dog) is said to be two already. I can tell a big difference in Shadow now that she has been through all her training. It is just a little harder now that I have another dog who isn't trained as well.

I hope you like the Kashi meal. Maybe I just have defective taste buds?

Ok, I am trying to be better about the after school snacking. I just got hungry and ate two WW cakes (2pts). Not bad. I think it will hold me over until dinner time. I will probably eat a WW dinner.


Oh, another snack I love is FF Sour Cream and Onion Pringles. I weigh out an ounce, and it ends up being about 12 chips!

Long talk with DD has netted positive results, dh and I talked and decided to put her in afterschool club/care its $12.50 a day/afterschool and it may be she needs to be around friends... as she doesnt like being an only, and I refuse to be her "friend"...

speaking of Rules... I'm pasting the rules for signature because I dont want to lose any Peeps!!

The MAIN violations we commonly find are listed below:

1. No more than three images are allowed. All of the following each count as an image: (1) A photo, (2) A Clipart, (3) A Countdown, (4) A 'sparkly' signature, (5) Any non DISboard smilie, (6) Eggs. Note also that WISH images each count toward the maximum of three images allowed.

Thus if you have a sparkly signature line, 2 photos, 3 countdowns, 2 eggs, and 1 WISH, your total image count is 9, or triple the allowed number.

Remember, if you add any type of Holiday decorations to your signature, it all counts toward 3-image maximum.

2. No single image may exceed 550 pixels in width nor 200 pixels in height. The old standard was that all images combined must fit within a single 400x400 square. This was changed earlier this year to the current requirement. If you have a signature developed to the old requirements, you need to fix it to meet the current requirements.

The most common item we find are users with an image that is greater than the allowed 200 pixel maximum height requirement. Be sure you check ALL your images in your signature to be sure none of them exceeds 200 pixels tall.

3. The TOTAL filespace of all your images combined must not exceed 50KB. (That's 51,200 bytes).

One item we commonly find are uses of animated gifs which can have very large filesizes. If you have an animated gif such as a sparkly signature, or other 'moving' image, be sure you add up all the filesizes for all images. If you have highly detailed photos, it's also easy to exceed the 50KB combined filespace limit.

4. The TOTAL number of lines in your signature may not exceed 12. All of the following count as a line: (1) a line of text, (2) a blank line, (3) an image of any kind on it's own line (such as photo, countdown, smilie, egg, etc), (4) any type of spacer such as a dashed line.

The most common item we find here are users with a long vertical list of their WDW trips. Instead of putting all these on separate lines, one on top of the other, it's suggested you put them on one horizontal line going across the page. Many users do this and differentiate the trips by using different colors, etc.

Note: The above items are not all inclusive. There are other signature requirements. You can see the full Signataure Guidelines with samples by clicking HERE . This also gives you an explanation on why the guidelines are important.

If you don't know if your photo, countdown, etc meets guidelines, you can look at your signature in one of your posts, and right-click directly on the image, and from the drop-down menu, select PROPERTIES. The image's properties will show. There you can get both it's filesize and it's dimensions ( Width x Height). If the height dimension is greater than 200 your image does not meet guidelines.

If you add up the filesizes of all your images, and the total exceeds 51,200 bytes, then you do not meet guidelines.

(always check with the technical support, and they will give you a defintive answer!)

I don't get it. If you do these you get like demerits and when you get 100 you are out? How do you know what the signature rules are? What is a filter violation? And what is "registered to Spam." Wow, I see a lot of sarcastic posts and personal attacks.

Colon Blow- a morning cereal such as Raisin Bran or Fiber One. It keeps everything moving along nicely!!! A bowl of clon blow in the morning helps me stay healthy!!!!

You know the cute guy in school that knows everyone wants to go out with him... and he becomes a little arrogant... well that is how it felt..

So, we will see.. This was just the 1st step.. I had a typing test and 2 interviews today. If I dont get a rejection email in the 24-72 hrs then I move on to have a background check, then a urine test.. then they decide if they want you.. the whole process could take up to a month...


So, I am still waiting to hear back from the company I interviewed with on Monday for 3.5 hrs.

Ok, I am confused. What happens if you do these things? Do you get a warning from the moderator? S.Poppins and I got one because of our WPASADI logo was deemed inappropriate, but just about everyone in the competition had the same one. Is it if you violate that rule for that many days, you get in trouble. Also where did you find that?

Glad things went well with DD. My DH and I have talked about this, and when did it become our responsibility to be our kids playmate? They need to play with other children. I never remember "playing" with my mom and dad.

Found this today and thought I would share it:

A Blonde’s Year in Review

January – Took new scarf back to store because it was too tight.

February – Fired from pharmacy job for failing to print labels….Hellllooooo!!!...bottles won’t fit in the typewriter!!!

March – Got really excited: finished jigsaw puzzle in 6 months…Box said “2 -4 years!”

April – Trapped on escalator for hours…power went out!!!!

May – Tried to make Kool-Aid…wrong instructions – 8 cups of water won’t fit into those little packets!!!

June – Tried to go water skiing…couldn’t find a lake with a slope.

July – Lost breast stroke swimming competition…Learned later, the other swimmers cheated, they used their arms!!! (my favorite!!! )

August – Got locked out of my car in rain storm…car swamped because soft-top was open.

September – The capital of California is “C” ….isn’t it???

October – Hate M&M’s….they are so hard to peel.

November – Baked turkey for 4 ½ days…instructions said 1 hour per pound and I weigh 108!!!

December – Couldn’t call 911…”duh” there is no “eleven” button on the stupid phone!!!

What a year!!!!

Type in the words you want to BE the link (ie. Disappearing Peep Ditches Diet on DDP), highlight the words, click on the little planet earth/chain link on the tool bar and paste your URL address into the pop up box.

Yes, kinda what I was thinking about human vs. dog babies. Human lasts longer, and the "challenges" are different. Jasper WILL go into her crate on her own. In fact, we make her sit and wait until we say "OK", and then she will run in. The crate is where the Kong filled with goodies is! That is quite an accomplishment after 3 weeks! Good for you!

Jasper is almost 10 months old. Her first birthday is April 4th. She is good for her age, I am sure. I think I watch too much Dog Whisperer. I am afraid that the little things we have issues with will turn into something bigger later on. But we are working on it. She has come a LONG way! And I'm not sure, but I think she can tell when I am PMSing, and she acts worse! ...or maybe it just seems that way.

Thanks! I won't be eating it tonight. I plan to have a gardenburger, so we'll see. It'll either be lunch later this week or dinner next week.

Bee - I will really miss that "bee"utiful picture of your family.

Lynda - My older dog Shadow does that too when she goes in the crate. In fact when she hears me brush my teeth in the morning, she goes and sits beside it. I'll open the crate and then I tell her OK and she runs in. Trixie is watching all of this, so hopefully she will catch on. I am about to go to church, so we will see if I get lucky again. I worry all the time about my sweet dog turning into a "demon" dog. I don't think you can get too much "Cesar". I bought the "Illusion" collar for Shadow for Christmas. Illusion is his wife, and they designed a collar that keeps the leash at the top of the neck. I'm not real pleased with it. I may be selling it on Ebay.
