Disabled parking and placards

Hi every one! I have a few questions you might be able to help me with regarding disabled parking/placards.

I'll be coming in from out of state with a permanent disabled placard....does any one know the parking rules on that? where parking is located and what parking fees are?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

An out of state placard is acceptable at Disney. Disney has handicap parking spaces at all their resorts and parks. If staying at an onsite resort with placard it is free parking. If staying on site parking at the parks is free. If you are staying off site, parking at the parks is $25. Regardless, display your placard as you enter the resort or parks - at parks they will direct you to handicap parking. At the resort, security will know parking is free. (I always stop at front desk and let them know, to avoid accidentally being charged.)

Handicap parking is closest to the park entrance.

Please know that if you drive to Magic Kingdom, you will park at the Ticket & Transportation Center. You then need to catch the ferry or monorail to get to MK.
