Hi

Im looking to apply for the 2014 International summer program but I dont want to get my hopes up only to find out I would not be able to take part. So I have a couple of questions.

I have a heart condition and can become fatigued easily if standing for long periods of time and I was wondering what roles would allow me to sit down?

Just to let you know the roles I would most like to do would be Attractions, Vacation Planner, Character attendant and Merchandise.

Also because I get generally tired I think the maximum amount of hours I would be able to work would be 30hrs maybe 35hrs, is this enough to pay rent and still have some money left over because I heard you have to do at least 60?

Vacation Planning allows you to sit down a lot, but it's pretty sales-intensive. If you're aversive to that field, maybe it isn't the best idea, but if you're ok with it, it's a pretty physically relaxing job.

Attractions I know you have to move around a lot and many of the positions require standing for periods of time. Character attendant as well- I don't think I've ever seen a character attendant sit down on stage.

Good to know, im not too fussed about vacation planner being sales intensive so it seems like a good choice for me!

One more thing how long are character attendants on stage for at any one time?

After doing both character attendant and attractions, they both involve a LOT of standing. CA shifts start at 5 hours, and run up to longer shifts (my longest shift has been 13 hours). Break amounts will vary based on shift length.
