Thank you for getting me back WW. I have already lost 55lbs with WW, but stopped going in June. I just needed something to get me started again going. I still want to lose 30 to 35 lbs. I have not gained any since June, but have not lost anymore.
 
ok - I'm in - I don't know what I am going to do - but I have to do something......

I'm really glad you decided to join us. I'm on Atkins too and so is my husband, we have done very well with this way of eating. He has controlled his diabetes and lowered his cholesterol and triglycerides already.

No lurking on WISH, now, you join right in with us, okay? We can help you with that willpower stuff ;)

There are lots of WW people here on WISH and lots of support here from people following all kinds of weight loss eating plans.

I'm so glad you are going to be part of my support group, now. Good for you for making the decision to redouble your WW efforts. You are going to do just great, I'm sure of it.

I am really very impressed with you. Imagine dropping WW last June and not gaining <i>any</i> weight. Way to go!

hehehe Ok in that case I'd better put the clip art in tonight since tomorrow is weigh in.

Ok this crosses into the realm of TMI but...........why is it that for my very first weigh in after being REALLY good all week......eating well and exercising.......... that due to um mother nature my weight will probably be "off". ARGH

Welcome to all the new inductees - be ready to bombarded with support - how else do you think a "lifer" (dieted for as long as I can remember) can FINALLY begin to be a "Loser"! Without all the support on WISH and now my PMbuddies, too - I would have never stuck to it. Your presence makes for my accountability and I love it - thanks :sunny:
 
KELSIE, I STARTED THE ATKINS DIET ON APRIL FIRST AND LOST 20 LBS IN THE FIRST 17 DAYS. I WILL WEIGH MYSELF AGAIN AT THE END OF THE MONTH AND LET YOU KNOW.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :D :D :D
 
OK ... I'm in! I am not dieting (motivationally, I'm just not to that point yet). Hoping that going to Curves will start making some difference. And I may not be dieting, but I'm also not buying anything at the grocery store for dh knowing that I will eat it too! He's missing his "chips and dip" on Survivor night (LOL).

Nativetxn -- thanks for the warm welcome on one of my posts. You certainly make everyone feel really welcome here! :D

Hi DISNEYBIGGDOGG! Welcome to the DIS and welcome to WISH. I'm really glad you decided to join us.

We have a wonderful support group here. Lots of really nice and supportive people following all different kinds of eating plans. You are great addition to our group.

I follow the Atkins nutritional plan too. I love it. I lost 20 pounds before I took the WISH challenge too but my clipart says 10 pounds because that's how much I've lost since taking the challenge. We start at zero and then trade up to the 5 pound loss clippie when we lose the first 5 pounds on the WISH challenge. Bummer, huh? I know...me too. But you will be trading up to that 5 pound loss clippie very soon, I'm sure of it.

If you would like to add the DIS WISH clipart to your signature there is a great post written by our own wovenwonder telling you how to do that right <b>HERE</b> Why don't you add your total weight loss right beneath the challenge clipart, that's what I did. I wanted credit for all of my success ;)

Okay, onward and downward, my new friend. No fair lurking, we need you to participate here on WISH. It's so helpful to me :)

Hello, Everyone! My name is Amy.

WOW! I am so impressed with the posts that I read. I weigh more now than I ever have, and I've been meaning to start a diet, but just haven't found the motivation...until NOW!

I am amazed at the results some people have gotten with the Atkin's Diet, so I'll do a little research on it tonight. I'd love to lose some of the weight quickly. It makes it easier to keep at it when things start to level off.

I'll be at the Caribbean Beach Resort for the 4th of July. I sure would like to look and feel good.

Do you all have specific "weigh-in" days of the week? Or do you just start with the day you join? Anyway, count me in! I'm committin' :D

My goal is to lose 50 pounds overall, but I'd be thrilled with 30 pounds sometime this summer.

All tips and advice welcome here! Thank you all.

We all have different weigh in days. I weigh in tomorrow. You can choose any day of the week you want as your weigh in day.

We have a great support group here. I'm so glad you are going to be part of it now.

I'm going to add you to the list, I hope that's alright. Don't be shy, now. Join in here on WISH. I think you're going to like it here. There is a lot of support, motivation and fun waiting for you.

I want to loose 20 lbs, but will be happy with 15. I just had a baby in November and I had JUST lost 25 lbs. guess it's a good thing I lost it. I will be doing Weight Watchers and exercise and LOTS of water.
