Old timer here, I mostly lurk now and lost my post counts over the years. I even think I had to re-register because based on the age in my name I first signed up in 1998.

Life is good here...and keeping me busy, so not as much time to sit and play!
I found the Dis cruise brd in 1999 when we were in beginning stages of planning our family reunion cruise. Finally registered in fall of 2000! Great place loaded with lots of information and lots of nice people.

Hi Dan!!! I don't know if I'm old, but I feel old.

I'm around pretty much everyday, but I don't post as much right now because my kids are keeping me insanely busy. Now that our next WDW trip is down to 59 days I find myself coming around more often. Gotta get up to date on everything going on.

Hi! I'm still around but I don't post or even DIS much anymore! I still frequent the Official New Moms thread about once a week but that's about all I have time for these days. Kylie is going to be 10 months old (those of you who know me well probably remember me posting before I even found out I was preg. with her!) on Sunday and she is starting to cruise and is getting into EVERYTHING these days. I just don't have as much time for the computer as I did in the past. But I'm still around to some extent!

I guess I am an old timer too. To think, when I joined the DIS I had ONLY been to MK. I had no clue what MGM or Epcot was. I found the CB after looking through the Universal threads - was going there and looking for info. Once I found the CB I was hooked! Visited Epcot & MGM for the first time wiht DIS'ers - the Swan & Dolphin Cheerleaders! Of course now I have had my annual pass every year.

I believe I would land in the "somewhat new" (meaning that I don't have a lot of posts, haven't been here long, and am tagless ) category. I keep the DIS on my computer most of the day and read posts in between patients (yes, I do have other things to do, but have so much fun reading posts.... ) Anyway, would like to say HI to everyone

I think I'd qualify as an "old-timer" here, since I've been on the site since at least '99 (was thinking it was the year before that, but may have lost that data...or may be living up to my "old-timer" label ). I tend to come and go, depending on everything from work to politics to the approach of another vacation. Done time on everything from the old Debate board to the Collector's board to here on the Community board, and seen a lot of friends come (and, sadly, several go...and that's all I'll say about that ) over the years. The Dis just always seems like it has what I'm looking for at the time, from a much needed laugh at some of the best trip reports to a light-hearted discussion about some light subject like American Idol to the debates about the political issues of the day. There just isn't another site like it out there anywhere.

This thread is like a DIS reunion. I too have laughed and cried and mourned with all of you here.

I found the DIS in 1999 while planning our first Disney cruise. Some 6 1/2 years later, I have met at least a few hundred DISers at Disneyland, DCL and WDW meets. And I used to spend hours in late night chat.

It's great to see so many old friends dropping by to say "hi". I wasn't around for the start of the DIS, but I do recall the great board crash. I am one of those people who found the DIS the month AFTER a trip to WDW. I took lots of notes and, as I recall, our next trip to WDW was loads of fun. I think that there was a DISmeet every other day of that trip (much to the dismay of my wife and kids).

I have made so many wonderful friends here on the DIS. It has truly been a blessing in my life in more ways that I can explain.

Chipperdini - We still need to get together for a Pizza Burger at the Dariette next time you travel north. Don't forget.
