Roughly....how much are property taxes over there? I think our property tax runs around 3 - 5 % of the value.

....taxes are around $10K for my house....no, we won't rent....won't downsize either....we can't seem to get rid of our kids!

We're lucky since we aquired ours from my FIL so the value didn't change. Quite low compared to most.

Yeah with the apartments and 1st street we got to keep the same rates as Fran's parents paid, but since we bought our house in 2013 we pay twice as much in taxes on the house as we do on the 5 unit apartment building. It's worth about 1.5 times as much.
