DIS Ladies Only Trip 2007 WISH!

Skipping the pot luck sounds like a good plan. Can you do a little shopping instead? ;) They always have one at my husband's office and actually call it the "Pig Out" :sad2: It starts with too many donuts and such in the morning and runs nearly all day. He will be out of the office at a meeting that day and I told him it is just as well.

I hope you can keep your momentum, just keep thinking how great you feel about yourself when you stick with the diet and excercise !! I know it's hard, like I have said before, it's a daily struggle for me, but I think we can all do this :banana:

I agree with it being hard. I was doing really great. Then my DH left on his trip and I kinda fell into a chasim of depressing. Now he's back and I'm better. Of course I'm now currently battling a fricking cold! My throat hurt so bad lastnight and I kept getting hot and then cold. :sad2: It was terrible.

I am a big fan of the panninis as well. My fav is the chicken with spinach and mushrooms. I need to go buy some more of them. They really help me stay on track with the calorie counting.

That is my favorite as well :banana:

They are good. It's helped me not gain weight these days.
I eat alot at work. People are always bringing in cookies, cakes etc which is hard to refuse. :sad2:
I'll be happy after the hoildays when all the food is gone. :rotfl:

I'm not doing our pot-luck. It's always so much food and I can't controll myself with normal portions. :rolleyes:

I wouldn't be able to control myself either if everyone was bringing goodies in :eek:

I lost one pound this week, I had hoped for more, but I have to admit that I didn't do my best, I had a few really good days, but to equal it out, I had a couple of not so good one's, but at least it's a loss and not a gain :yay: I aint complainin' !!!!

Hello ladies! I had deleted my subscription to this thread, and until Wendy told me, I didn't realize it was still up and running. That's wonderful!!

I'm so happy for all of you that are continuing to work hard. Especially you Anita! 6 miles????? Damn, that's amazing.

How much has everyone lost total so far?

I should get back to trying. Or at least trying not to gain during this time of year. One good thing about getting sick and then not eating much since then, is I've lost some weight. About 10 lbs. Probably all water weight though! :rotfl2:

I think after the holidays Terry and I are both going to try and do some more exercising. I am just not go watching what I eat. Maybe if we did more exercise that might help.
