RJ - don't know about the skinny thing - Lands End bathing suit arrived today. And ahem...the bottoms are funky.

OK so it was the skirt bottom style with the "drawstring" type sides so you could make the length of the skirt longer or shorter. To, you know, hide cellulite. Yeah only it does not become long enough for me. But I think its because, well, because I have cellulite obviously, but there are attached bottoms sewn into the skirt and the leg style is "modest" cut. And I am kinda long waisted so the attached bottoms are really uncomfortable.

ANYHOW.... what does all of this mean to all of you....Nothing. But back to the drawing board on the bathing suit I go.

Cheri - the halter top is really cute. I will keep that. Although it came with its own white deodorant marks. Gotta wash that baby.

So...gonna go order me some boardshorts Cheri says I cannot wear the same ones from 2005.

Then gotta finish laundry, pack everyone up, move the trashcans (stymie apparently forgot last night) give my marinated top sirloin to neighbor 'cause we aren't eating at home tonight, and.... lets see what else!?

hey- the latest Wonder 4 day came back today and their Pirate Night was on night #2 - the first CC day. Did we know this? I thought Pirate was on Nassau day.

Pirate nite on day #2?! Someone posted a thread about that a couple of weeks ago. They had said they thought it was 'cuz they stayed in Nassau later so the crew could have a night off. I, being the one & only Anal Annie, immediately called DCL when I read about it to ask if it was a permanent change or not (because we booked Palo on night 2 and of course for dressing / packing problems etc.). I gave them the date of our cruise and THEY told me it was still scheduled for night 3. I will be calling them again momentarily.

I gave them the date of our cruise and THEY told me it was still scheduled for night 3. I will be calling them again momentarily.

Good, I dont feel so bad now. I ws just trying on some dresses to see which ones to bring and boy do I have that pooch that I didnt thave a few years ago.

OK...they KNOW me now! OMG. Seriously...they have notes! I actually spoke to the same supervisor (Bridget) that I spoke to a few weeks ago concerning the ashore time changes they made at Nassau. She said the most common reason that they change Pirate Night is that at last minute it's changed because of the weather forecast. She said they have a doppler radar and very sophisticated weather prediction equipment onboard and if they're really pretty certain that night 3 is going to be a very windy or rainy night they will move it up a day. It is not scheduled that way ahead of time but is changed based on an as needed basis. So. That's that. She said she would make a note on my ressie so that if this happened on our cruise that they might be able to work out something else for switching our Palo ressies to night 3. She said that didn't mean they COULD it just means they'll be expecting my butt to be at Guest Services as soon as the Day # 2 Navigator comes out!

On one of our cruises they did the pirate menu on the regular pirate night but cancelled the fireworks because of lightning. They then did the party in the atrium. The next night they had a little deck party and shot off the fireworks then.

We picked up the sailaway shirts today!

(Ok, RJ picked them up, I just paid for 'em.)

They look good. The transfers are still a bit heavy, but not as bad as in past years (for those of you who wore them in '04 and '05), and being on white shirts makes it more tolerable. I can't wait to see 30+ 'DIS-Functional' idiots parading around the port and the sailaway party in matching T's!
