A Tropical Depression has formed off the coast of Africa...it is expected to not effect west of Bermuda...and if it does..it will be next weekend..long before we leave!!

DH told me that first thing this morning! NOW I will be glued to the weather channel for the next 2 weeks (because, yes, I am "one of those people")!!!!

Gert - must agree with CamColt...ADORABLE leetle pirate! Does she look like big sis did at that age?! Found you on whitepages.com but you do not answer your phone when I call it...will PM you about the scrapbooking thing!

So they are calling for a pretty good chance (40%) of storms for tomorrow evening here...will make it tricky to catch the fireworks somewhere.

I have been on the go all week running errands...need to do some job hunting and catch some sun! 2 weeks from RIGHT now we should be getting off the plane!

Morning Peeps!

I don't know about all of you, but these last few days before we leave are super busy with stuff that has to be done.

I laughed yesterday when I read the paper...there was a recipe in it for "Celery Slush"

I'm afraid I didn't go any farther than that though....sounded way to gross Just made me think of you all and your celery diets. btw, I'll be the chubby one...no celery eatin' fer me

I fell off the wagon yesterday..had 3 pieces of really good greasy pizza...

Well, I ate a salad again for dinner last nite...although with a few more calories than the one for lunch. So does 2 salads in one day make up for the Big Mac and lack of celery?!

Alright...this tropical depression just became a tropical storm and is now named Bertha! It takes them what, about 7-10 days to cross the ocean, right?! So hopefully she will have come & gone by July 20!

RJ - don't know about the skinny thing - Lands End bathing suit arrived today. And ahem...the bottoms are funky.

OK so it was the skirt bottom style with the "drawstring" type sides so you could make the length of the skirt longer or shorter. To, you know, hide cellulite. Yeah only it does not become long enough for me. But I think its because, well, because I have cellulite obviously, but there are attached bottoms sewn into the skirt and the leg style is "modest" cut. And I am kinda long waisted so the attached bottoms are really uncomfortable.

ANYHOW.... what does all of this mean to all of you....Nothing. But back to the drawing board on the bathing suit I go.

Cheri - the halter top is really cute. I will keep that. Although it came with its own white deodorant marks. Gotta wash that baby.

So...gonna go order me some boardshorts Cheri says I cannot wear the same ones from 2005.

Then gotta finish laundry, pack everyone up, move the trashcans (stymie apparently forgot last night) give my marinated top sirloin to neighbor 'cause we aren't eating at home tonight, and.... lets see what else!?

Do you have a Sears?? They have Land's ENd and the one at PGA has a HUGE LE section..I looked at those drawstringy things, but I didn't like the tops..not enough stufch for my stufch!

hey- the latest Wonder 4 day came back today and their Pirate Night was on night #2 - the first CC day. Did we know this? I thought Pirate was on Nassau day.
