Hummm. An email to say thank you is appropriate these days? Really?! Hummm. So, my taking a copy of my resume today to give to her all printed out nicely on Ivory Resume paper along with my References page was not a good thing either 'eh? I guess I AM old fashioned...I have always done a follow up letter thru the mail on coordinating paper stock with matching envelopes... But then again, I've really only ever had like 3 jobs ever so this interviewing thing is not something I've had a lot of practice with!I think I had 2, maybe 3 interviews back in 1984 before I got my job at B.F. Saul Co. then I was there for 18 1/2 yrs. Then I probably had 3 or 4 interviews before my next job. I was there 3 yrs. Then I think I had 3 interviews before my last job. Since I have never been a job hopper, I don't know all the ropes! I guess a highly progressive company like this might call for different tactics. I need a live feed directly to you for these questions!

There is nothing wrong with your idea. You providing another copy of your resume and your references was very well played. A lot of people forget that stuff.
