Hummm. An email to say thank you is appropriate these days? Really?! Hummm. So, my taking a copy of my resume today to give to her all printed out nicely on Ivory Resume paper along with my References page was not a good thing either 'eh? I guess I AM old fashioned...I have always done a follow up letter thru the mail on coordinating paper stock with matching envelopes... But then again, I've really only ever had like 3 jobs ever so this interviewing thing is not something I've had a lot of practice with!:sad2: I think I had 2, maybe 3 interviews back in 1984 before I got my job at B.F. Saul Co. then I was there for 18 1/2 yrs. Then I probably had 3 or 4 interviews before my next job. I was there 3 yrs. Then I think I had 3 interviews before my last job. Since I have never been a job hopper, I don't know all the ropes! I guess a highly progressive company like this might call for different tactics. I need a live feed directly to you for these questions!

There is nothing wrong with your idea. You providing another copy of your resume and your references was very well played. A lot of people forget that stuff.:goodvibes

Every dinner hour!? What are you saying?? You don't want to dine with my 1 year old throwing food at you??

I am sooooo insulted right now.

CC time....maybe unless she naps at the beach.:lmao: that's a good one.

Spa time...not happening. I can spa it up at home.:thumbsup2

Of course pj dancing time.:woohoo:

Shopping time....eh...we are thinking of doing a catamaran snorkel thing that would allow Linden to go so shopping time is limited.

Johnna, we ended up taking Trevor (at 13 months) to Flounders every night at dinner. We would take him to dinner for a very short while (long enough to feed him something--the servers were great about getting food out to him right away) then one of us would take him to Flounders each night (and enjoy some time in the clubs while he rested.) It made all of us happy.
We also used Flounders for a shore excursion we wanted to do at Grand Cayman. Gave them my cell number (in case of an emergency) and they kept him on the ship.
While you can only sign up for limited time in advance, you can 'waitlist' your other times when you board, and if space is available they will call and confirm with you. We were relieved to be able to get him in there every evening at dinner time (since dinner lasts so long, and it was just too long for such a small one...well at least MY son ;) )

Flounders is great about giving you more time if it is available once you board the ship.

They were just suggestions

...and you did ask for them ;)

This is actually what I was thinking. So that worked pretty well eh? Try it I must.

 RJ!! Please don't take offense. I was not being serious.

If'n you all remember who we dined with last cruise....one particular child was quite obnoxious. I would never subject fellow diners to any such atrocious behavior from either of my children. If Little Miss Linden (or Ryan for that matter) can't behave herself I will lock her in the stateroom closet. And if Linden throws food y'all have permission to throw it back.:duck:

:flower3:

Hola Peeps!:grouphug:

Johnna: none taken! ;) you know what they say about those redheads! :lmao: Hmmm, haven't been in a food fight in a while :rotfl2:

NOW I AM OFFENDED!!

Kate was NOT obnoxious...chatty, friendly maybe...so she came around and stuck her fingers in your plate...took your chair and ate your dessert!! Big Deal!!

Ha!

Oh boy - now I've done it. Offended you both.

Bets - not your child. I enjoy peoples fingers in my dessert. That does not bother me at all.;)

I was talking about Cassie. Sheez. hehe might as well just offend everyone while I am here.;)

OK really. Not Cassie. Totally different child. I will just shut up now and go away.:lovestruc I did aks y'all for ideas. Thank you. :cutie: Must wait until April 21 to demand, I mean, attempt to get babysitting time slots online.

Have a great day everyone.:flower3:

Hey hey hey - what is going on? Is it a full moon? :confused3 Everybody play nice now!

OK, so I am old fashioned TZM - I mailed my letter the OLD FASHIONED WAY!:scared:

Just went out & got gas for the trip to WV tomorrow and hit the old liquor store. New sale started today - $6 off of my big jugs of Captain Morgan!

Trying to decide what to do about getting a new passport for DS. The last appt. at my P.O. is at 3:45. I wanted to wait for his birthday in May so he would be 16 when he's due again the NEXT time...but I was thinking maybe I should just get it over with ASAP just in case I would find a new job - so I wouldn't have to ask to leave early to get it done.:confused3 Their first available 3:45 appt. was on April 17 so I went ahead & took it. Figured I could cancel or change it later. I don't know. I over analyze everything.

Sorry, Annie, when you said liquor store I just had this image of you with a bottle in a brown paper bag. Nobody here even goes to a liquor store any more (that I know of) - too 'pensive - grocery stores are everywhere and much cheaper. And, you can buy da' hooch any time. What is with not being allowed to buy alkeehol on Sunday or only after certain times. Geez, jump into the 19th century already  - or maybe it's just us West coasters demand all-time access. Being the patient type you know.

Hey hey hey - what is going on? Is it a full moon? :confused3 Everybody play nice now! NO and you can't make us. Sheesh takin' away all our fun. fuddy duddy ol' Annie

I believe in passports because you never know 1) when someone will get sick and need to fly home or 2) you get the opportunity to go somplace ultra-cool.

OK, gonna go pay off the cruises now:sad1: g'bye money:sad1:

Cheri - We can't buy liquor in grocery stores here..only the liquor stores!

buy wine in a 6 pack! or so I've seen :rolleyes1

http://finance.yahoo.com/taxes/article/104737/Six-Reasons-You-Shouldn't-Count-on-Rebate-Check-Before-It's-Cut found this on Yahoo. #5 is interesting. Don't count on your rebate check until it's cleared the bank.
