Yes I know, but My kids can't be whiny when they want to. We hope to feed them before we go to dinner some nights, so they can go to the clubs, I am not sure they will make it to the late seating....

Dont they say girls are whiny? I never got that. My boys can out whine any girls...trust me.

A BBQ sounds like fun. Unfortuantley we are hitting a high of 45 today so I think we still have a while until our BBQ days are here. :scared: Glad you had a good time though.

Congrats, Kate!

OMG! I can't believe you lucky ones are already booking stuff. Makes me think the cruise is getting closer and closer!!!!:yay: :woohoo: :cool1: I think my day is 4/21. Yikes! Thats not far away is it????:scared:

Katie I think my day is 4/21 also - best to be paying off this cruise then eh? Been looking online for the special 4 day navigators so I could get a feel for when to attempt to book Linden into the nursery. But no luck so far.

:thumbsup2 BBQ'ing:thumbsup2

Wanted to head off to this awesome nursery near here to look at plants and ask about my gardenias but guess I waited too long. Linden just went down for a nap.

Hmmm...guess I could do some laundry and figure out what is for dinner. Oh wait we thawed a tri-trip. So I guess it's naptime!!:woohoo:

Dreary, rainy, ugly, cold, drizzly day here today....workin' on some more door sign stuff among other ideas....this sign that I just finished came out really good (finally). It was a royal pain and I had started it several weeks ago but had stopped on it 'cuz I got frustrated. The first time I printed it today I must've had my printer settings wrong 'cuz it made all these freaking lines across it.:headache: I also lost some of my fonts from my old computer too so we had to go out & find them again & download them. I need to find a sale on ink!!:lmao:

Even tho I ache all over today I am SO-O glad I got the pond cleaning thing over and done with yesterday!:woohoo: Now if it would just warm up and dry out enough to finish mulching...I did a little bit a couple of weeks ago but I still have like 9 or 10 of the 3 cubic ft. bags left out there...the forecast is not looking like it's going to be a mulching kind of week here tho...

This is the same girl you want me to have strapped to me while hovering 200 feet above the water... :scared: :rotfl:

Great googly-moogly.
hee hee. I recommend ear plugs Uncle Beano. And if you try and back out now, you'll get the beeg pouty lip from a certain leetle girl (and NO it's not me!)

You don't want your kids near me (Sean- you don't want the boys anywhere near me either) or they might learn a whole new level of whining. Just see what happens when Louis attempts for the 4th time to put blue cheese on my salad and insist that I'll like the chicken. "Nooooo I woooooon't."

Yes, please to be finding and posting Navigators! (and laundry=bad, naps=:thumbsup2

You can print black and white copies of the door signs to make sure you like it before printing a final copy. Saves big time on ink.

and still waiting on that hip wader boot picture...:rolleyes1

Yeah...I do a lot of my everyday printing in grayscale / fast draft so I don't waste ink...AND I usually flip the paper over and print on both sides before I pitch it...gotta save those trees!:thumbsup2 Today, I was trying to print a final copy of this one sign tho and for some reason the printer went bonkers on me and it was like dragging lines across the picture with each return of the cartridge.:headache: Then I did some thumbnail test prints and it was fine so I tried it again and it worked beautifully! So I don't know what was wrong.:confused3

OK, question for those of you who are running the fish extender show...does one typically give items out every day or just a few days (like 3 or 4)?! How does this usually work?

(Oh, and you might have yourself a long wait on that hip wader picture as I am not into the self portrait thing!:rotfl2: )

Please to be 'splaining... :confused3

Who's in on this... what are the details?

OH, and will whoever's "in charge" tell us which days to do it if say we're only doing 4 days so we don't all "do it" at once...and give us the others cabin numbers?! (In my search for goodies I have am assuming that everybody's participating?! Yes / No?!):confused3

OK, so dinner's on...we're having a clean out the pantry night...I dumped up like 4 different 1/2 empty boxes of pasta & cooked 'em together...cooked up some sweet italian sausage...dumped in whatever was left of the pepparoni from when I made pizzas last week....a big jar of sauce, a bag of shredded moz. cheese & popped that bad boy in the oven...can't say I'm not creative in the kitchen.... OH, did I tell ya'll about the fantastic corn stuff from the bereavement luncheon at my parent's church the other day?! OMG - if any of ya like corn let me know! It was awesome! (It's a crockpot recipe!)

My sexy hub made tequila lime steak, grill-roasted onion taters & ancho chili corn for dinner.

I think I'll keep him! :teeth:

a WHAT? What is a tri-trip? Is this ranch talk? I was thinking the other day...you call 'em ranches & we call 'em farms...funny...

(Webelo!)

:lmao: :lmao: Webelo:lmao: :lmao:

Ok I have to explain this all the time....Ranches grow cattle....Farms grow veggies and fruit.:rotfl2: Got it?:rotfl: I guess. Except for Dairy Farms. They don't process cattle they process milk so I guess that goes along with veggies.:confused3 OK I don't really know.:rotfl: But cattle farm just does not sound right. Cattle Rancher. Cattle Farmer.:confused3

Tri-tip is yummy. Technically a roast. Only 2 per animal. And they do not serve them on the East Coast. Had many a discussion with butchers back there.:sad2: They don't understand. Even if you show them where the tri-tip is cut from. The closest thing we ever got was at "St. Louis cut steak"?? I believe it is the top of the rump roast. Think tip steak only bigger.

OK making myself hungry!!:lmao:

Rosemary herbed roasted red potatoes and grilled asparagus!!:woohoo:

Though Ophie's dinner sounds spledid also. And yes Ophie (WB BTW:) ) you should definitely keep him. :thumbsup2

Oh I would never do that to her! Not now! Besides, I am looking forward to it very much. Beano shall be there... with video camera (and ear plugs) at the ready! ;)

Glad I live on the west coast. Tri-tip rocks! They have made many a backpacking trips with me! Sandwiches for a week!

Ophie & TZM's dinner sounded wonderful...yummm....steak. LOVE the idea of MEAT. OK, so this tri tip thing...it's like a roast so it gets roasted or it gets grilled? Have never grilled asparagus before...do you marinate it in something? I really want it to warm up here so I can grill....think no rain in forecast on Wed...maybe I can cook something out there then?! Suppose I should check the thing first to be sure it works 'eh? We're like Betsy...always run out of gas in the middle of cooking...and I think the neighbor ran out at some point too & may have taken our tank.:confused3

:grouphug: Mornin' Peeps....

Another Monday and another day closer to our cruises!:thumbsup2

Today it's regular chores like :laundy: and :yay: oh yeah, I still have to go sign our taxes :headache: :scared:

Tri-tip...grilled.:thumbsup2 And as Beano pointed out nothing beats a tri-tip and jack cheese sandwich!!
