Hi Gang,

Sorry Ive been somewhat MIA lately. This has been such a crazy week. I'm zonked! We capped it off today with a visit to the eye doctors for Colt and the poor kid officially has my eyes. He needs glasses. :3dglasses UGH!

Not much going on this weekend, just working and hopefully find some time to run a couple errands. Colt has a birthday party tomorrow, for his friends...triplets! :dance3: Soccer season was supposed to start, but like every year, its delayed due to crap weather.

Annie,

Were you able to figure out how to see my video yet?

:sad2: No...I had tried to install the whatever it was it wanted (yes, yes, install, accept, run, blah, blah, blah...) but then it just SAT there and did nothing.:confused3 But ya know...I am NOT so computer savvy...but I thought I gave it all the answers that it wanted...:confused3 So I dunno.

So I think that deal they got goin' now for this Owners Locker is really good...I was tryin' to talk DH into it earlier...he was like "what are you gonna keep in it besides Captain Morgan?!" LOL.... I was like ummm...rain ponchos!? I just hate to miss out on a good deal... I am so-o sick in the head!

owner's lockers... aren't they mostly for people who go three or four times a year? And where exactly are they?

Katie - if soccer season starts now, does that mean you play all summer? Or is soccer strictly a spring/summer sport? We start in August and end in December - unless you are in club soccer and then, well, it really never ends.

ahem <tap tap tap> ahem... DISfunctional Peeps? There is a thread on the cruise meets board that is on their 4th(!) thread and they don't sail until October!

I'm just sayin':rolleyes1

OH Bic razors...right....I was stuck at Bic pens. Just wasn't sure why they wanted to write on the freshly shorn people!!:confused3 :rotfl:

shorn....hehe:rotfl2:

For me the word is sneaked. It should clearly be snuck.

The more often you go the more useful they are. They're for anybody who goes more than once a year and packs/takes a lot of the same stuff each time - esp. with all the luggage restrictions on airplanes these days! Now you can only take 50 Lbs in one bag w/o a surcharge and a lot of airlines are starting to charge for more than 1 checked bag so they get you coming & going. For us, we really wouldn't fill a bin on our first trip - it would be stuff that we accumulate over time. This was just a good deal they're offering right now. Normally the 1 time membership fee is $75 & they're offering it for $45 AND there's a $99 annual fee but you normally only get 1 free delivery per year (add'l ones are $25). This deal is offering a 2nd free delivery per year for the life of your membership which is cool. We really don't eat in our unit beyond breakfast but some people do - so they use them for spices/seasonings, water filters, crockpots, booze, toiletries etc. I honestly think DH would flip if I tried to pack a crockpot to take!:rotfl2:

I'm doin' my part here!:rotfl:

So-o...I still haven't started up my pond yet!:sad2: The weather just hasn't been cooperative...it's supposed to be cloudy & breezy today but temps in the lower 60's...then it goes downhill after that...rain & 50's for the next few days...so I just might take my sorry old butt out there to do it today. A bit cold to be playing in the water all day but I have never let it go this late to get it started (that's why I bought hip boots / waders, right?) LOL - I'm a real sight with those on!! We just usually have a couple more days of upper 60's or lower 70's by now!:rolleyes1

Where did you hear about the owner's lockers thing?

Here you go, TZM...http://www.disboards.com/announcement.php?f=2&a=222

Cheri, we have spring and fall soccer here. Spring "starts" the first weekend in April, but usually ends up being the second weekend. ;) That runs til about mid June with rain make ups, play offs and all. Then fall runs from the weekend after Labor day, until the end of October. But again, with make ups and palyoffs, it ususally runs a week late, so sometimes into early November.

And I should add this is just the general youth soccer program, not travel teams or anything like that.

"snuck" I totally agree! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Why didn't Webster ask us Johnna?! :lmao:
it isn't snuck? There is a book called Eats, Shoots and Leaves it's full of how people have screwed up grammar (but probably only a dork like me would think it's funny so never mind)

:lmao: you've got to be kidding! sounds like a fire hazard to me (and when I'm on "vacation", I ain't cooking - that would be "change of place" but I completely understand why some might fix their own food.)

can we get a picture of that? Everyone will be appearing on the web page one more time.:rolleyes1

The official countdown is 106 days.

I know this now because I tried forever to logon and book something last night - 107 days out. <insert smaking head on ground smilie here> <insert DD laughing at mother here> <insert mother chasing DD smilie here>

Ok, I have to share this with all you planners. I almost had a heart attack today! Last October going to the mall with all Chrsitams stuff up drove me nuts...way to early, right? So, I go there today and start walking toward the jewlry store when what do I see....a big, HUGE, Christmas tree made out of pointsettias...WHAT???? So I go up a little more and see a HUGE facade of "Santas Workshop". Ok, Im ready to go off on a rampage over this.....ITS APRIL!!!! Then I realized, the new Kevin James' movie is being filmed at this mall...must be for that. Right? I hope!
